The story is about Reaper picking up animal souls and listening to their stories, letting them to say goodbye to their loved ones. The author herself stated that she cried making some of the comics.

Widespread misunderstanding of domesic rabbits has made them one of the most abandoned pets, especially around easter.While rabbits are popular, they're not easy-care pets and often their needs are underestimated. They need a lot of exercise and medical care can be very expensive.
People often abandon their rabbits outdoors with the asumption that the animals survive outside, but unaware that this is a death sentence.
Domestic rabbits lack survival instincts, they're unable to build safe shelters, fight infection or adapt to changes in weather.
