I have always considered making a full comic dub of the Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days manga. This will be my first time making a comic dub of any kind on my own and I am excited for the challenge. I look forward to progressing and learning more on the way as well.
I already have the first 5 chapters downloaded and started editing the videos. I now am looking for a talented cast who are interested in series too or are just interested in auditioning.
Because this is my first time making a comic dub posts may not be as frequent. However, I can assure you they will get done. I kindly ask for patience if you audition.
Some interested in the project may have noticed that the role of Xion is not available as a listing. That is because I will personally be providing the voice of her as I am confident in my ability to do so. It may seem odd that I am so adamant on this. But I wanted it to be clear I am not "all bark, and no bite."

With all of this in mind I hope that this doesn't dissuade or discourage people from auditioning as there are other female characters in particular that still need voices.
I love the Kingdom Hearts franchise and I am very excited to get this project rolling!
AUDITION DEADLINES
The deadline as of right now is June 13th, however if I do not have enough auditions or am still looking for more voice actors I will extend this potentially.
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS
I just ask to have a decent quality mic and overall sound quality (please remove any background noise and such) in your audition. I would also, while not a requirement, like to hear at least 2 takes of each line. Other than that no further requirements.
Also while I will be using the original English cast as reference points, I do not require exact imitations. I will cast according to quality and if I think the voice properly fits the character.
Please note I will be using a Discord server to send out lines and receive recordings. As well as just general updates and such. If chosen it will be required in order to communicate with all of the cast effectively and efficiently.
Roxas is the main character in this series and whoever is cast will have a significant amount of lines to record as him. His English voice actor is Jesse McCartney, so at the very least I am looking for someone who can match his tone.

[This is said in a serious and somewhat sad manner. The context of this scene is he is trying to bring back one of his friends.]
Axel is overall seemingly a smug and confident character. However, he has a lot of depth to what he outwardly shows.
I am looking for someone who can match his English voice actor's tone and voice as best as possible.

[This is said in a frustrated manner. The context of this situation is that Axel disagrees with a close friend's decision to leave essentially.]
Riku plays an important part in the later half of Days. His main goal is to help look after Sora and aid Namine in waking him up.

[This is said in an informative manner. He is trying to help Xion come to a decision that she is unsure about.]
Xemnas is the leader of Organization XIII. He has an air of authority and gives the impression that he is always plotting something. He has a very low voice and tone.

[This is said as a greeting to his Organization, please use an authoritative tone.]
"He's the connection. He is what makes you and Xion a part of each other's lives. Just as he is the reason I placed Xion among our number. And if you want her to stay that way, I must insist you get your mind off these needless distractions. I will have Xion return to her duties tomorrow. Today, you must focus on yours."
[This is said in an informative manner.]
(Xion is pronounced "She-on")
"Fortunately, the puppet has no means of dashing our plans now, even if she has learned to pull her own strings. Still, she knows our secrets. We need to shorten her leash... And perhaps tighten it."
[This is an underlying threat, please try to convey his intimidating nature as best as possible.]
Saix is the second in command of the Organization. He has a mid-low range voice and is for the most part in the manga calm or exasperated.

[This is said in a somewhat monotone voice. Very casual.]

[This is said in an informative manner. With a hint of exasperation as well.]
Demyx is an energetic yet lazy member of Organization XIII.

Vexen is likened to a mad scientist in the Organization. He is cunning and mischievous.

Lexaeus is the somewhat typical strong man in the Organization, he has a very low voice and does not talk much.

Xigbar is an intimidating and sly member of the Organization. No one truly knows what he is thinking. He plays a bigger part in the series later, however in Days he only has a minor role.

Luxord is a cunning member of the Organization. He enjoys toying with people. He also has a slight British accent and sound a bit more posh than Xaldin.

Marluxia is a sly member of the Organization. He secretly has his own agenda, in the manga he is more comical and flamboyant a bit.

Larxene is a member of the Organization who gets annoyed easily with work and Demyx in particular.

Namine is an important supporting character in Days. She is soft spoken and has a calm demeanor overall.

[This is said in a regretful manner. Namine feels bad that she has not been able to fulfill her promise.]
Kairi is a main character from Kingdom Hearts. In Days she shows briefly in flashbacks, based from her KH1 voice.

As well as I always could use help with extra characters. Please note you are not required to audition for characters from each world.
