Although a little mischievous at times, Abu is loyal and answers to Aladdin whenever he is summoned. He has an interest in jewels, and tried to steal one once. He loves the shining of these gems. He also is very loyal, as he retrieves items Aladdin tells him to, or is very willing to help him.
*Monkey noises*
Auron is the strong silent type. He speaks only if necessary, but when he does, he speaks words of wisdom. He appears as a strict, no-nonsense warrior with a dry wit. As a 'Guardian', Auron devotes his life to protecting those in need, putting the matters of others before his own without concern for his own well being. His experiences from his mortal life have strengthened his spirit. A man of unshakable resolve and loyalty to those he protects with enlightening wisdom, Auron is seen by his peers as an excellent role model more than worthy of the Guardian role.
"This is my story. And you're not part of it."
"Heh. No wonder no one wants to die."
"I lived my life defending others. But now... there's no one left to protect. Maybe... it's time I shaped my own story."
Banzai is the most cunning member of the hyena trio; he constantly lurks around in search of food due to his constant hunger.
"I thought things were bad under Mufasa."
"I said, uh... Que pasa?"
"I can't help it. I'm so hungry... I gotta have a wildebeest."
s a Nobody, Demyx lacks a heart, and is therefore incapable of feeling emotions. In spite of this, Demyx behaves as if does possess a heart, an act which Xaldin criticizes him for. As a result, Demyx has a very casual and lazy disposition. He is also cowardly, running from many encounters, including ones with Hades and Sora; and in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, he claims that he finds Larxene quite frightening and also refuses to go searching for a giant Heartless alone.
"Hey, you guys are looking lively."
"You shouldn't judge anyone by appearance."
"I told them they were sending the wrong guy..."
Hayner is impulsive and determined, and is always looking for a new adventure. He is bold to the point of recklessness, once even charging Axel unarmed. He gets bored easily during uneventful times, as demonstrated when he constantly pesters his friends to do something during their summer vacation. Hayner is also easily angered/irked, as shown in the very first scene in Twilight Town when he tells Pence, Olette and Roxas about how everyone labeled them thieves for stealing photos. He thirsts for some kind of recognition, as he is even irked when Roxas defeats him in the semi-final round of the Struggle tournament, leaving Hayner in fourth place (Hayner is soon moved up to third place when Seifer withdraws from the match).
"C'mon, get serious. Why would anyone wanna steal a bonehead like Roxas?"
"Only three days left of summer vacation--so don't even mention that assignment!"
"Word is, this mansion gets a lot of really strange visitors."
A good-humored boy with an even temper, he is close to Olette like a brother. He also usually ends up being dragged by Olette to help her with her shopping. He has a knowledgeable account of the Seven Wonders of Twilight Town and is apparently skilled with computers as he manages to access the computer in the mansion.
"Olette dragged me along to go shopping."
"He sure seemed in a hurry. He had a black coat on so I couldn't see his face, but he had these big round ears."
"Hey, Goofy, do you think we could see that crystal of yours?"
Along with Xemnas, Saïx appears to be one of the most "Nobody-like" of the Organization. Despite claiming to remember what possessing a heart was like, he behaves mostly as a cold, emotionless, and efficient operative, even in the direst of situations. He is very aware of how emotions are unreal to them, unlike other members who imitate their emotions.
"True, we don't have hearts. But we remember what it was like. That's what makes us special."
"So, you really do care for her. In that case... the answer is no."
"If I had a heart, this would be where I die of laughter."
Xaldin is a high-ranking and independent Organization member, working alone for the entirety of his presence in KH2 (sans his hooded appearance in Hollow Bastion). Xaldin is sadistic and revels in others' despair, manipulating Beast in the castle and taunting him and Sora during their fight. Interestingly enough, some of Xaldin's battle quotes and the delivery of his lines seem to give him a sense of disinclination (emphasized by the fact that he will hold his arms behind his back in scenes, and even in battle).
"It's time you dealt with Belle. She's scheming to take everything you have. This castle, your precious rose. And then---your life. Trust no one. Feed your anger! Only anger will keep you strong."
"What? To love, and be loved in return? Who could ever love a beast?"
"When Kingdom Hearts is ours, we can exist fully and completely. So you see, Beast---that's why we need your Heartless AND your Nobody!"
Being the founder of Organization XIII and apparently the oldest of Nobodies, Xemnas is truly emotionless to the point that he does not even remember what it was like to have any feelings. He claims that this allowed him to have a clear understanding of the heart, though this had, in actuality, warped his mind into believing that anger, hatred, and other negative emotions dominate the heart.
"Gentlemen. The hero of the Keyblade has embarked on a new adventure. Make sure it is one he will remember. Now go."
"I know nothing of any Kairi. As for Riku... Perhaps you should ask your king."
"Heroes from the realm of light... I will not allow it to end this way- not yet. If light and darkness are eternal, then surely we nothings must be the same... Eternal!"
Setzer is a true gambler, willing to stake anything on luck and skill. However, he has a sneaky, underhanded side, as shown when he attempts to bribe Roxas to lose in the Struggle tournament. He is arrogant in his status as a top Struggle fighter, and takes pleasure in mocking his opponents.
"There's only room for one up here."
"Hey, Rucksack. How about you throw the match for me?""Whatever you think is right, you're wrong. And that is a big mistake."
Will is a courageous man, shown prominently when he threatens to sacrifice himself on Barbossa's ship if the pirates won't release Elizabeth, Sora, Donald and Goofy. Will is also a caring person. He cares about Elizabeth in particular, but also quickly befriends and assists relative strangers like Sora, Donald, and Goofy. Despite having a great dislike of pirates, he begins to show signs of caring for Jack Sparrow as well over the course of the story.
"Well done! My own fencing skills are not to be ashamed of... but I've never faced foes such as that before."
"I fought with Jack once. Afterwards he was sent to jail. He didn't stay in there long, though. He's a pirate to the core."
"Is it true? You gave Barbossa my name instead of yours. Why choose my name?"
Seifer appears as very brash, rude, and taunting. He signifies himself as the "protector of the town".
"Nice comeback there, blondie."
"Hey! No chickening out of the tournament tomorrow!"
"Okay, smartalecks... Time to teach you how to behave in my town. Bring it!"
Prince Eric is a kind gentleman who helped educate Ariel in life above the sea. Although he was mesmerized by Ursula's spell, Eric still remembered how Ariel had helped him. It is for this memory that Eric loves Ariel. Prince Eric is also very brave, willing to take on the great sea witch, Ursula, by himself if it means saving Ariel. Finally, Eric is adamantly loyal to Ariel. This is seen after Sora completes Ursula's Revenge, when Eric is willing to learn how to swim in order to be with Ariel.
"The girl who rescued me... Her voice..."
"What's wrong? You can't speak? Oh... Well, where did you come from?"
"Of course! It was you! You're the one who...who saved me that night in the storm! Oh, Ariel. I'm sorry I didn't figure it out sooner. You're the one I love."
As in the film, Tron is shown to be a noble, selfless being who would stop at nothing to fight for his friends and justice. Despite his sometimes serious exterior, he is shown to have a playful side, demonstrated by when he hugs Sora, Donald and Goofy before he merges with the computer system, and when he is shown to be ticklish. After Xemnas's defeat, Tron is even seen to be dancing.
"You're inside a mainframe computer system."
"You guys really are Users. Your actions are totally illogical."
"DTD is the name my User gave to the dataspace. Copies of all the original system programs are stored there, along with anything that's sensitive or restricted."
Megara has, despite her secret love for Hercules, a rather negative outlook on life, as she is secretly allied with Hades. She tries to sever these bonds, but must ask for help from Sora, as she is far too vulnerable to confront the god. She wants to let Hercules know of her true feelings, but fears that this could open a weakness to Hades. The Lord of the Dead knows of Hercules's feelings for her, however, and uses her as a "pawn" to get the hero to bend to his desires.
"Come on, Wonderboy, play hooky for a day. For old time's sake?"
"Look, even Herc has his limits. He can't keep winning forever."
"Don't worry about Wonderboy here. I'll look after him. Sora, Donald, Goofy, I owe you big time."
Nala is Simba's childhood friend who is constantly providing positive support and encouragement to the worried king. Nala has a strong loyalty and desire to help others-specifically, her pride, as she is seen hunting outside of the usual Pride Lands in an attempt to save the starving pride. Nala also has a great amount of bravery as she is willing to attack Scar, the once-present king of the Pride Lands, in order to let Sora, Donald, and Goofy escape. Nala is a skilled and fierce fighter, as seen when she flips Simba on his back and pins him to the ground.
"There was... but he died... when he was just a cub. He was the son of our last king, Mufasa. If only Simba were here..."
"Simba, you've got to come back to Pride Rock. I thought Sora might be able to help, but you're the only one who can save us from Scar."
"He's not the Simba I remember. Something about hakuna matata..."
The prominent aspect of the Emperor is his vast amounts of knowledge and justice; the Emperor is one of the most judicious characters in the series. Contrary to his exterior the Emperor is frank about certain topics, as seen in telling Shang's tactics of winning Mulan over are wrong.
"I've heard a great deal about you, Fa Mulan."
"You're a young woman. And in the end... you have saved us all."
"Take this, so the world will know what it is you have done for China."
Mulan is a very clumsy, independent, and outspoken girl who has the utmost honor and respect for her family and friends. During the first visit to the Land of Dragons, she is very insecure; however, as the story continues, she starts to gain confidence in herself. She has a strong determination as seen in her multiple attempts to impress Captain Shang. Mulan also possesses a keen, strategic mind, coming up with the avalanche solution to wiping out Shan-Yu's army.
"Captain, the enemy! Where did they go?"
"He's heading for the Imperial City! We've got to warn Shang!"
"Just... Ping. I am Ping, son of Fa Zhou."
Ed is the least intelligent member of the hyena trio, for he is always smiling and laughs uncontrollably at everyone and everything. Ed never speaks, save a rare, few-word sentence, and he is always the victim of Shenzi and Banzai's jokes.
*Ed's laugh*
Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather are the three good fairies who live with Master Yen Sid in his tower in KH2. They cared for Aurora until she reached the age of sixteen, in order to protect her from Maleficent's curse (Sleeping Beauty)
"Well, look who's here, dears! Sora, Donald, and Goofy!"
"All right, then. Together now, dears. And no more squabbling!"
"Your garments also have other powers- but you will have to discover what they are as you continue on your journey."
Yao is very arrogant, aggressive, and short-tempered. He is often found yelling and degrading others. Out of the trio, Yao is the unofficial leader. He is also the most aggressive out of the trio, being shown starting fights often. Despite his aggressive nature, Yao is kind to those he respects.
"Bout time we got some grub.."
"Just when I was about to destroy those creepy things, they got scared and took flight! This is a strange company.""Well, now... Look who decided to show up."
Rafiki is the wise shaman of the Pride Lands. He is held highly by all animals of the Pride Lands as possessing prophetic status. Although Rafiki is full of wisdom, the mandrill is also known to have silly moments which are often expressed through a mad fit of cackling. Rafiki provides important and necessary counsiling to those seeking his aid.
"It is time."
"Ahh... The struggle never ends. That is the great Circle of Life."
"The secret to victory... is a strong heart."
Mufasa is the once proud king of the Pride Lands. Mufasa is considered by many animals of the Pride Lands to be the epitome of strength and wisdom. This is especially true for his son, Simba, who is always comparing himself to his great father. Outside of physical prowess, Mufasa is also strong in giving advice and encouragement to the low-self esteemed Simba.
"Look at the stars. The great kings of the past look down on us from those stars. So whenever you feel alone, just remember that those kings will always be there to guide you... And so will I."
"Simba... you have forgotten who you are. You must take your place in the Circle of Life."
"Remember who you are."
Although her role is minor, Mrs. Potts is shown to be very motherly, looking after the castle's residents. Unlike the cautious Cogsworth, Mrs. Potts is quite forthcoming in trusting people, immediately welcoming Sora despite him being a total stranger. Regardless of how stressed the Beast and Belle's relationship gets, Mrs. Potts is always optimistic, believing that the two will fall in love.
"She turned the Prince into a beast, a shape she thought fitting for his cold heart."
"Now, now---no need to be so sad. Once the rose is back safely, this will all be over.""Always ready for a little adventure."
While little is known about his life as a Keyblade master, the elderly sorcerer is shown to be a rather stern man. In almost every instance, he is shown to be frowning. But beneath his harsh exterior belies a man who strongly believes in his apprentices no matter how much mischief they may get up to, demonstrated by when he expresses annoyance at Mickey for running off with the Star Shard and recklessly getting lost with it, but then forgives Mickey and awards him the title of Master with an encouraging smile.
"So, you are Sora. Now then, have you seen the King yet?""Your past endeavors did prevent an immense effusion of Heartless from the great darkness.."
"Now then, that is all the information I can give to you. Go forth, Sora, Donald, and Goofy. Everyone is waiting."
Daisy Duck is a close friend of Queen Minnie of Disney Castle, as well as the inhabitants of Disney Town, and possible votee of Captain Justice/Captain Dark Pete. She is the love of court magician Donald Duck and shows a great sense of strong affinity towards him. She has a short temper much like her love's, but controls it until Donald's negligence to contact nor visit her at the Disney Castle during his Gummi travels.
"Donald, you forgot about our date again! You'd better have a good excuse this time!"
"I know it's an important mission, but you could at least check in every once in a while."
"Going somewhere?"
Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather are the three good fairies who live with Master Yen Sid in his tower in KH2. They cared for Aurora until she reached the age of sixteen, in order to protect her from Maleficent's curse (Sleeping Beauty)
"Ooh, if you're looking for clothes, you've come to the right place!""Oh, yes! He does look very dashing"
"She was a mean ol' witch... Oh no! The memories are coming back! What'll we do!? Oooh-what'll we do!?"
Shenzi is the leader of the hyena trio; she is also its most aggressive member. Shenzi constantly insults Banzai and Ed and resents their bumbling natures. Despite this, she considers them to be her friends. Shenzi's personality is quite fitting, as her name means "barbarous" ("savagely cruel; exceedingly brutal") in Swahili.
"Don't be silly. We'd love you to stick around for lunch."
"Snack? Nah, we got us a three course meal."
"Oh, it's you guys. Man, we were hoping you were a meal."
Pumbaa has a lax and carefree life, much due to the philosophy of Hakuna Matata, that he can be perceived as ignorant or passive. This is not the case, however, as most of his ideas are quite genius and/or helpful. As for passivity, Pumbaa will only excuse actions until they affect his friends. When that happens, he will charge to protect and help them. This is seen during the end of the first visit, when Pumbaa bravely fights, and pummels the hyenas in a fit of rage. Pumbaa disapproves of anyone call him a "pig", and becomes enraged whenever someone does.
"What were you thinkin' about?"
"She's gonna eat us!"
"Are you sure they don't wanna eat me like I'm some kinda pig!?"
Cogsworth is a loyal servant to the Beast, and one of Lumiere's closest friends. Although he means well, Cogsworth's serious demeanor and strict adherence to the rules often puts a strain on his relationship with the other servants. Often times Cogsworth's bossy attitude comes from his inclination to worry. Despite this, Cogsworth is able to get along with others, as shown in helping Sora through the Secret Passage. Like the other servants, Cogsworth wishes for the Beast to find true love, removing the enchantreess' spell.
"He's right, Master. We've all seen how kind you can be. After all...Belle can see the goodness in your heart, but I'm afraid you've yet to—"
"The two of them do seem made for each other."
"Just when I thought the curse might be lifted, this has to happen!"
Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather are the three good fairies who live with Master Yen Sid in his tower in KH2. They cared for Aurora until she reached the age of sixteen, in order to protect her from Maleficent's curse (Sleeping Beauty)
"You'll have amazing powers when you transform, but the process takes time. Even so, transforming will help you tremendously on your adventures!"
"I'll do the designing."
"Yes, dear. I wonder whose it was..."
Chien Po is a calm and prophetic person. When compared to his partners, he is the most naïve; however, he is very good-natured and seeks to do no harm. Chien Po's main personality is that of a "gentle giant"; while possessing immense strength, he prefers to remain neutral in many situations.
"I wonder what they're serving for lunch today."
"I'm Chien. That short one there's Yao, and the skinny guy's Ling. Say, what were those things earlier? Is that what we're up against?"
"We're just glad you're not in black cloaks."
Ling is friendly and enthusiastic, and possesses a passion for telling jokes. While seeking acknowledgment from his jokes, he gains an obnoxious exterior.
"Hey, a space in line!"
"What a shrimp!"
"Good going, Ping!"
Li Shang is the highly capable captain of the Chinese army. He has a strict, no-nonsense demeanor, followed by being very adamant and dedicated to his cause. He is often found putting duty before his feelings. Despite his harsh exterior, Shang is relatively kind, as seen in expelling Mulan from the army instead of killing her, since she had previously saved his life.
"You three. What are your names?"
"I should never have doubted you. From now on, you have my trust.""I can't believe you lied to me. The punishment for high treason and dishonoring the Army... is death. Get out of my sight... now. You're all dismissed."
Based on her small role in Kingdom Hearts II, the Wardrobe comes across as a very stubborn, almost rude character. Despite this, she cares for the other servants and wishes all goes well between Belle and the Beast. She doesn't care what form she's in, but like the other servants, one of her dreams is to be human again. The Wardrobe's personality is a bit gentler in the Disney film, still supportive of Belle and the Beast, but having more of a desire to be human than in Kingdom Hearts II.
"Temper, temper! Her spirit is what makes Belle so special."
"I hope tonight goes well.""The master does have his shy side, you know."
Unlike the other residents of Halloween Town, who are innocent, good creatures whose job it is to scare, Oogie Boogie is the only resident of Halloween Town who is truly evil. Oogie Boogie's most dominant emotion of his personality is obviously fear. Whether it's scaring the daylights out of others, or being terrified himself, Oogie is always involved with fear. He also is shown to be considerably more dull than the other villains. Although he does seem to have his smart streak every now and then. Oogie also shows a love to gamble and to play games.
"I feel like a million bugs! I really owe you one for this, Maleficent."
"Do I remember them? Ha! You're too much! I'll never forget what they did to me... Uh...What was it they did to me?"
"Sorry! Can't remember a thing!"
Upon his creation, Experiment 626's only purpose was to destroy everything in his path. He would laugh at the chaos he caused, taking pleasure from harming others. However, his time with Terra, Ven, and Aqua changed this, much like it did in the Disney film upon Stitch's encounters with Lilo.
"WHOA!"
"Sora!"
Jack is shown to be incredibly eccentric, always alive and active. He is somewhat of an optimist; when he puts his mind to something, he will not stop until he achieves it. He tends to be slightly oblivious, and never thinks things through, which usually leads to disaster. However, he is a generally cheerful character who is greatly respected by all, with the exception of Oogie.
"Sora, Donald, and Goofy! Welcome back, and Merry Christmas!"
"You stole the presents, didn't you!"
"Oh, Sally! You've given me the nicest present in the world! And I've nothing to give you in return. What would you like? Just name it. Absolutely anything."
Aladdin is portrayed as a clever and good-hearted person with unwavering loyalty to his friends, as shown when he uses his third wish to free Genie from the lamp instead of bringing back Jasmine from Hollow Bastion. Somewhat of a worrier, Aladdin seeks to protect and please those close to him even if it means exhausting himself. As a person living in the streets of Agrabah, Aladdin dreams of becoming wealthy someday to free himself from his lifestyle.
"Can't believe it... That stupid peddler let Jafar out of the lamp!"
"This is your one and only chance, Iago. If I find out later that you've been lying or hiding things from us, we're through. I'll never speak to you again!"
"Well, you've done it again, Sora. Don't forget about us, okay?"
Jasmine is very clever, headstrong and determined, and longs for both freedom from the palace walls and the freedom to find her true love, much to her father's dismay, as he wants her to marry a prince.
"I never had the chance to thank you for before. You helped Aladdin defeat that awful Jafar and saved Agrabah."
"Oh, I think Iago's shown that he means well."
"Just wait, Jafar! You'll get exactly what's coming to you!"
Hercules is shown to be tough, yet caring, willing to withstand hours of intense training at the hands of his mentor, Phil. He has a genuine love for Megara, and is willing to sacrifice even his own life for her. He is not without fault, however, as insults from Hades and a series of tough matches, including a loss to the Hydra, cause the hero to doubt his worth. It is when his friends' lives are most in danger that Hercules realizes he is not worthless, and that, in his words, "A true hero is measured by the strength of his heart."
"They came to see me. They came to see a hero. I can't let them down."
"Sora! Donald! Goofy! When'd you get here?"
"I owe you one, Hades. I didn't hesitate to give my life for Meg's. And then, I remembered: A true hero is measured by the strength of his heart."
Genie is a fun-loving and wacky character. Never frowning, never still, he is always ready to brighten up someone's day. He is an eternal optimist, not caring that he has been stuck in a lamp for 10,000 years. He is incredibly loyal to his master, but equally loyal to his friends.
Originally voiced by Robin Williams.

"Al, you princely little muffin, you!"
"You went mano a mano with Jafar, and you didn't invite me, Al?"
"Is that my cue? Am I on? C'mon, Al! Lemme build a freeway or something!"
Maleficent is a scheming, manipulative, and cunning sorceress who seems utterly determined to take over the dominion of Kingdom Hearts. She is mostly seen in a cool, calculated manner, easily manipulating Riku into helping her aims, whilst she pretends to care about helping him find Kairi. In Kingdom Hearts II, she is determined to avenge her previous defeat at Sora's hand. She doesn't tolerate failure, as shown when she berates Pete for his attempt to take over Kingdom Hearts without her.
"My dear boy, you're like a son to me.""How dare you challenge me!? ME, THE MISTRESS OF ALL EVIL!!!"
"Will it be he who will conquer the darkness or will the darkness swallow him.. Both ways he will be quite useful.."
Due to retaining Ventus's heart, Roxas was able to feel emotions shortly after his creation,[4] unlike typical Nobodies who must first regrow their own heart over a long period of time. Being Sora's other half, his personality is similar to that of his counterpart, with some differences. For example, when Riku confirms that Roxas is Sora's Nobody after they meet in Dark City, Roxas's statement, "What are you talking about? I am me! Nobody else!" is nearly identical to Sora's later reactions when the Organization XIII members address him as Roxas.
Naminé...? What's happening to me?
Sora, you're lucky. It looks like my summer vacation is... over.
Tell me... tell me why he picked you!
Sebastian is very strict when it comes to following rules, especially when the rules are given by King Triton himself. He is also very loyal, albeit afraid, to his King and will do anything for him, even when asked to stalk Ariel, as he reports to him periodically on the ocean's state and Ariel's behavior. He also cares deeply about Ariel, often reminding her how bad the human world is and will try everything to stop her from getting there. In the original movie, Sebastian followed Ariel to the human world to try to save her. He can also be seen as Ariel's "conscience". He is very passionate about music and is often trying to lift up the undersea creatures' mood by singing or conducting an orchestra. He also has a tendency to let things slip out of his mouth.
Behold. You swim before the ruler of the seas: His Majesty, King Triton.
Ariel, King Triton will not like this!
Ariel, wait! Slow down! Don’t leave me behind!
Well, I'm staying!
Maybe the King is here too!
Good morning, your Majesty, it's nice to see you this morn-... WAAK!! (duck noise)
Hmm.. I haven't seen you before..
Daddy! NO!!
There are so many worlds I want to see.. I know I'll get there someday!
While his name might insinuate that he is simple-minded and unintelligent, it is a misnomer as oftentimes Goofy has shown to be the voice of reason for Sora and his companions, and is also amazingly calm and cheerful, retaining his composure when Sora and Donald are completely undone. One example is in the beginning of the Traverse Town section of the original Kingdom Hearts, Goofy states that Pluto might lead to where they need to go, but Donald blows him off when in reality, if they had followed Pluto, they would've found Sora much earlier than they did. He has also proved on occasion to have more common sense than Sora and Donald; in the Land of Dragons, when Sora and Donald mistake Mushu's shadow for a Heartless and try to attack him, Goofy tries to stop them. Goofy also tends to notice things that Sora and Donald do not, such as when they met Mulan and he was the only one of the trio to first notice she was a girl.
It won't work! The keyhole's not finished yet!
Gawrsh, it's the heartless!!
Sora's the Keyblade Wielder! *Goofy laugh*
Kairi is caring, kindhearted, and not afraid to speak her mind. However, she is determined and courageous when someone she cares about is in danger, often risking her own safety to help that person. In Kingdom Hearts II she becomes slightly more withdrawn because of Sora's absence, having obtained wisdom usually beyond someone of her age. She's not as brash and bold as she was in the first game, but is still sociable. Kairi also makes friends easily, quickly befriending Hayner, Pence, and Olette in Twilight Town before being kidnapped by Axel. She's usually always very cheerful and upbeat and seems to be bit of a tomboy as well. In contrast to Sora and Riku, who were both bothered by not knowing about Kairi's hometown, she took it in stride and was able to look at the positives about living in the Destiny Islands. She is loyal and headstrong, and she can be rather stubborn sometimes.
She has a gentle, high, girly voice and is originally voiced by Hayden Panettiere. Kairi's voice in this has to be a bit more mature than her KH1 voice.
A letter... I wrote it yesterday, to the boy I can't remember. I said that no matter where he is...I'll find him. One day. And when I stopped writing, I remembered we made a promise, something important. This letter is where it starts. I know it.
You're not acting very friendly!
You held onto that charm. That talisman of reunion really worked! I wanted to see you so badly, Sora. I missed you so much!
Upon his first appearance in Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories, Ansem is disguised as "Ansem, Seeker of Darkness", and thus shares many personality traits with the Heartless while harboring his hidden agenda of destroying Xehanort and Organization XIII. Once he reveals himself as DiZ, he becomes much less sinister, and appears to be genuinely interested in helping Riku and Sora.
I'm glad we have the opportunity to speak like this, my friend. I'm intrigued by your hypothesis... and I'm finding it difficult to stave off the urge to test it. Still, I'm concerned about the stability of the worlds.
Sleep. Here, between light and dark.
Naminé... You are a witch who has power over Sora's memories and those connected to him. Are you seeing something I cannot?
All three of the kids (Lock, Shock and Barrel) are mischievous, rude and rascally children with no respect for their superiors, taking pride by wreaking havoc and chaos whenever they can. Although they take orders from Oogie Boogie, they obey him out of fear, and are generally content to merely perform pranks unless threatened by him. Although Lock is the nominal ringleader, Shock's cunning and bossiness usually put her in charge. When they get in trouble, both of them are happy to throw the hapless Barrel under the bus and blame all their misdeeds on him.
We were just following orders! Oogie Boogie told us to steal the heart. It’s all Barrel’s fault! It was his idea to tell Oogie Boogie about the heart.
Sally is an extremely kind and thoughtful person. She is also very intuitive and smart, always looking ahead and solving problems. She is restless, though. She has never liked being held back by Dr. Finkelstein and often tries to escape. According to Dr. Finklestein, she has always been a worrywart, which is proven by how she often has a bad feeling or worries about nearly all of Jack's choices. Also, she is compared to Kairi by Goofy because they have similar personalities.
Is something wrong, Jack?
Jack, I have a bad feeling about this. Why don’t you try something else? There’s still time.
Don’t feel bad, Jack. We’ll come up with another plan for Halloween. Next time, we’ll do it together.
He has a very sarcastic and laid-back, "go with the flow" outlook on many things, including missions and battles. He also is shown to have a very kind and protective side towards Roxas and Xion, which is ironic for a Nobody and his actions at Castle Oblivion. He acts like an older brother towards them, being their main source of advice and wisdom.
Talk about blank with a capital "B". Man oh man, even the Dusks aren't gonna crack this one.
Simply amazing, Roxas.
The guy you just saw. He's their leader. Got it memorized? X-E-M, N-A-S.
Mickey Mouse, often referred to as King Mickey, The King, His Highness, Your Highness, or more commonly as Your Majesty, is the king of Disney Castle, a recurring character, and, along with Donald and Goofy, the main Disney protagonist in the Kingdom Hearts series. He travels the worlds battling the forces of darkness and is a Keyblade Master, and the chosen Keyblade wielder for the Realm of Darkness, though he follows the path of light. Originally believing that the darkness had to be eliminated, he eventually realized that light and darkness are interdependent and cannot exist without the other due to his encounters with Riku.
Well, the Door To Darkness can only be opened by the seven princesses. There's Snow White, Jasmine, and Belle...
Now I remember! Xehanort! Ansem's apprentice! The leader of Organization XIII is Xehanort's Nobody!
Gosh, you all did great!
Iago resembles a scarlet macaw, though smaller in size and with shorter feathers while retaining the blue tipped wing feathers, blue tail, and white around the eyes. He can speak fluent English and has the ability to perfectly mimic other characters' voices.[8] He also possesses knowledge of various tricks learned from Jafar. He is easily frustrated and openly vocalizes his frustrations, and avoids direct confrontations if he can help it, but when required, he can be quite cunning and mischievous.
Ya gotta understand. It wasn't my idea! It was Jafar. He made me bring you here. You don't know him like I do! He can be VERY convincing! He said if I didn't cooperate, he was gonna—
I most definitely got it! No more lookin' out for number one. I'm reformed! I wanna be a good friend, like Genie, but I can't do anything to help you. What kind of a friend is that?
Wait! You got me all wrong.
Scar is depicted as a cold, ruthless, brutal, and merciless tyrant whose sole goal is to be the ruler of the Pride Lands. The lives of his subjects and even of his family mean nothing to him. To that end, he is willing to put whatever he pleases on the line, and kill anyone who gets in his way. This is seen when he murders Mufasa in cold blood. He is also shown to be arrogant and overconfident, as seen when he foolishly admits to killing Mufasa, a trait which proves to be his downfall as he ultimately pushes Simba too far. Scar's become what he is because of his unpleasant past filled with unfairness against him.
Simba! You're... alive!
Must this all end in violence? I'd hate to be responsible for the death of a family member, Simba...
Go on. Tell them who's responsible for Mufasa's death!
Phil is a grumpy yet caring satyr with high expectations. He lives on with a dream of training the ultimate hero, wanting a picture of them to be hung in the stars and for everyone to acknowledge his accomplishment. This had yet to happen, at least until Sora, Donald, and Goofy showed up at Olympus Coliseum in the first Kingdom Hearts. Phil put them through training in the games and showed them the great praise he had for Hercules. He also showed genuine concern when the friends tackled Cerberus. When the beast was defeated, he awarded "Junior Hero" to Sora and company, later lecturing them after their complaints of not receiving a higher rank.
Kid, I got two words of advice for you-ATTACK!!
I gotta get this place ready for the games! OK?
HA! This rookie doesn't have what it takes to be a hero.
Barbossa is a ruthless pirate who has no regard for anyone's life, save for his own, as well as the lives of his crewmates. He will do anything to be freed from the curse, as seen in the lengths he goes to capture Elizabeth and Will, killing anyone who stands in his way. Barbossa is not foolish either, never underestimating Sora or Jack and sending constant streams of Heartless and Undead Pirates to keep them occupied.
Miss Turner! For ten years we've searched every league of these waters, every town and village-preying on sailors and settlers alike! Eight hundred and eighty-one pieces we found, but despaired of ever finding the last. All those years, you been safe in your bed, reading' your pirate stories, dreaming' of adventures on the high seas- we've endured torments worse than death itself!
But now, thanks to ye, we have the final piece---at last. When this medallion is restored to the chest, we'll be free to roam the seas as men. No longer will we be ghosts!
Elizabeth is a spirited and independent-minded character. Elizabeth has always been fascinated by piracy and life at sea, but she is also revolted by pirates' aggressive, wild nature, especially when she meets Captain Jack Sparrow, who made his escape from Port Royal at her expense. However, she was grateful to him for saving her life and unsuccessfully attempted to prevent his arrest. She thinks very logically, and is at first skeptical of Barbossa when he tells her about the pirate's curse. She shows weakness in her strong personality when Barbossa steps into the moonlight and reveals to her his true self. Her strong intellect is also shown when she is compared to Will, Jack, and Sora. Will and Sora, because of their strong sense of justice, tend to jump into battles, not thinking about the consequences. Even after becoming a pirate, she retains her sense of propriety, as well as her loyalty and compassion for loved ones (namely Will Turner, her father, and later, Jack Sparrow).
It's too late to earn my forgiveness.
That's my father, we've made it back! Father! Father! Look here!
And what makes you think I need protecting?
Merlin appears to be calm and decisive. In spite of his old age, he has an active nature. Merlin is nice and seems to be caring to the ones close to him. However, he can be easily annoyed, especially when people insult his talent for magic, and he will not hesitate to physically retaliate.
Oh! I thought it was you. Right on time!
Couldn't be bothered to wait up for an old wizard, eh?
My boy, that is a gateway to a special world. Someone in that world is responsible for what's going on in this castle. Of that, I'm certain.
Lumiere is the slightly rebellious and flaunty friend of Cogsworth, and servant to the Beast. Lumiere is the exact opposite of the strict Cogsworth, instead having a more carefree attitude. Like the other servants, Lumiere is hopeful in Belle, believing she will be the one to break the enchanted spell.
Follow me, messieurs. I know a shortcut.
Oui. He was a spoiled prince, so selfish and... how shall I say... cruel.
She is rather unique, isn't she?
Jafar is very cool and calculated, yet vicious and an amoral sorcerer who Maleficent regarded as "Beyond help. Consumed by his own hatred." He is seen in a mostly cool manner, yet is easily angered. He is sly, ruthless, and arrogant, ignoring Maleficent's warning about keeping his heart open to darkness for too long, simply replying "Your concern is touching, but hardly necessary".
Indeed I will, Princess. All of Agrabah will belong to me, while you...You, my queen, shall weep at my side for all eternity!
You dare defy me! You useless bird!
You'll all be joining him...VERY soon!
Pete is very mean, selfish and, shown at various points, cowardly. He tends to get scared in the presence of characters with overwhelming power, or in situations of being outnumbered. He is quite loyal to Maleficent, although his cowardice interferes from time to time. He has the tendency to run at the mouth, bragging and insulting, even with people such as Hades. Whenever he is defeated, he runs off in a huff. Though Pete appears incompetent, his heart has strangely been strong enough to resist the darkness.
What's wrong? Can't fight in the Underworld? Ohh, boo-hoo-hoo!
Whoa! Now I get what you were sayin'... Well, if you see two doofuses and a brat holdin' a Keyblade, steer clear. They got a kinda magic that don't belong in this world, see? And nobody knows what it'd do to ya. 'Specially when the moon's showing whatcha really are.
Timon is the erratic and wise-cracking. Although short in stature, his personality is not. Timon is very self-absorbed, often claiming the genius ideas of Pumbaa as his own. Like Pumbaa, Timon has embraced the carefree motto of "Hakuna Matata," using it not only as a way of life, but also to cheer others up. Oftentimes, when the meerkat is in danger, he will cower behind Pumbaa as means of protection. However, Timon will gather up his courage to help a friend in need.
Hey, why the long face, Simba? You gotta lighten up and live a little!
Would you look how he's grown, Pumbaa. Why, when I rescued the little guy, he was only this big.
Scuse me! Pardon me! Comin' through!
Shan-Yu is a cold-hearted, cruel warrior, ruthless in battle. He cares for himself and his army only. He is aggressive, violent, and rather silent, having no more than five lines in his appearances. He cares greatly about causing chaos and depression.
He is feared by almost all of China, and makes a point to ensure that everyone knows it. He is also known for his rather dark sense of humor.

Now you'll bow to me!
You think you can overpower me?
Attack!
Mushu is the overconfident, impulsive friend of Mulan who strives to help Mulan in hopes of reclaiming his family guardian position. Although selfish and careless at times, he means well and seeks to help his friends. If needed, Mushu resorts to lies or blanking details in order to put forth a better image of himself.
See that, Mulan? It's Shan-Yu, leader of the Hun army! C'mon, girl. This is your big chance!
I can see it now: "Fa Mulan whups public enemy number one!" You gonna be famous! I'm talkin' A-list!
That's right, I know you heard of me! I'm little, lethal, and legendary! Now y'all scram before I get my dragon dander up!
Sparrow's trademark physical characteristic is a slightly drunken swagger, accompanied by slurred speech and awkwardly flailing hand gestures that make him appear unfocused. Despite the constant scheming and lack of honesty which result from his self-serving nature, Jack adheres to the "Pirates' Code". He believes pirates can still be "good men", seeing the Heartless and Organization XIII causing trouble give real pirates a bad name. Though both deny it, Jack and Sora have similar personalities.
Then she's long gone. The Black Pearl is nigh uncatchable. Best find yourself another girl, mate.
Captain Jack Sparrow, if you please.
When you sailed away in my ship and marooned me on that godforsaken spit of land, with naught but a pistol and a single shot, you forgot one very important thing, mate. I'm Captain Jack Sparrow.
Hades is one of the most temperamental characters in the series. Although others are shown to be temperamental, Hades bursts out in anger on a more regular basis. When Hades gets angry, he explodes into a red pillar of fire and his normal blue colored "hair" burns red (which is ironic since blue fire is warmer than red fire).
Hades is also shown to be very cunning and smooth when calm and tends to talk a lot; for instance, when he tricked Sora into opening the Underdrome to save Meg. He also shows this trait when talking to Hercules, most of the time giving indirect answers and eerie hints that usually lead Hercules to danger. Also, unlike other Disney antagonists, Hades never seems to lie directly, instead never telling the whole truth of the matter. He possesses a biting, dry wit, and has a habit of making both subtle and overt verbal jabs at those around him. Hades also has childlike tendencies, like blocking his ears with his fingers and pretending he doesn't hear Sora when he tries to talk to him.

Where do they dig these freaks up? Geez, Louise.
YOU ARE FIRED!!!
Let's cut to the chase. Here's the deal I'm gonna offer you. I let you out of the slammer-no strings-you'll be free as a bird. And all for one little job. Fight Hercules, in the Coliseum...to the death!
Simba is a courageous, yet occasionally low self-esteemed ruler. He knows of his duty to rule the Pride Lands, but his fear of failure and disrespect often causes him to not do as well as he can. He is shown to be unself-reliant, always wishing he knew what his father would do in times of crisis, seldom thinking for himself. Simba doesn't have his priorities straight, and is constantly looking to do the right thing, but always says he fails of living up to his father. In short, Simba is a caring, brave and good friend, who is always looking to do the right thing.

How can I go back? I'm not who I used to be.
Murderer! Tell them the truth!
I'm going back to face my past. I could use your help.
