Hello, and welcome to the Katawa Shoujo Dub project! This project is a visual novel dub around the game Katawa Shoujo (disability girls), where a young man (Hisao Nakai) is diagnosed with cardiac arrhythmia. They then send Hisao to Yamaku Academy, the school for the physically disabled. The story is told from Hisao's perspective and has five love interests, all having different disabilities of their own. In this project, we will be covering the Lily route. A tall blind girl who is very elegant, beautiful and will teach Hisao many life lessons regarding how others deal with their disability.
Now on to the project itself and not the story :D The project will take roughly 2-5 months given how time from different actors can affect some dates. There will be live recordings sessions with certain actors given the scene, so please be comfortable with that. If we like what you bring to the table, we will invite you to have a live audition with us and cover the lines of the character you audition for and get live feedback. Since this project is roughly going to take five months, please stay committed and don't audition if you know you will not be available in the next five months. All that said here are the requirements!

Lily Satou (The main heroine for our dub) is a tall blind blond girl. She is very caring, responsible, and friendly. She spends most of her free time drinking tea and watching over Hanako. She is very well mannered in almost all things even to people she's close with. She is strong-willed and independent but can show a little playful side to her.
The voice I'm looking for is a medium-low voice that sounds very angelic and well mannered. I want her voice to remind of a caring mother or someone murdering me, but tell me I'm going to be ok and ill believe them type voice.

Hanako is a timid and introverted person. During the lily route, she will get more and more outgoing, but, at first, has extreme social anxiety. She has burn marks all on her right side due to a fire that took both of her parent's lives.
For Hanako's voice, I want a medium-high voice that is very timid. Sound scared and nervous most of the time, but try to add some confidence in different takes you do if you chose too.

Shizune is a deaf girl who is can be seen as serious or all business but can show childish tendencies. She is also very competitive and is the leader of the student council.
Shizune will rarely talk in the arc we will be doing so you won't be doing a whole lot sadly. However, this doesn't mean you are useless you will have lines just like everybody else and will be important to the main cast.
I want a medium-low pitch voice that is strong and willful.

Misha is a loud, playful, outgoing, and cheerful girl. She is very talkative and will talk the main character's ear off. She signs for Shizune and will tell Hisao most of what she says.
For this voice, I want a medium-high voice that is annoying. So annoying that even hearing you, I want to not be around you at all and shoot my brains out :D

Emi Ibarazaki is a very cheerful and happy go lucky girl. She is the star runner for the academy despite having an accident that took her legs, she uses prosthetics that help her throughout the day. She is the oldest out of all the girls (19) despite being the youngest looking.
For this voice, I want a medium-high voice that is very friendly and welcome, like the nurses but girl form.

Rin is a very talented artist and get's lost in thought easy. She likes to ramble on about random things during her time or just space off into nothingness. She has no arms so she relies on Emi to help her with certain tasks.
For Rin's voice, I want a medium-low monotone voice. A voice that just screams nothing.

Kenji is reclusive, suspicious, and paranoid, and calm, friendly, and mildly sociable. He is very misogynistic and thinks all women are dangerous and will trust little to no female insight. However, despite this he is genuinely a decent person and does show signs of concern for others. (female or male)
For his voice, I want it medium-high nasally, angry. I want his voice semi annoying but interesting.

Akira is carefree and very tomboyish. She can be seen as irresponsible and might seem like the opposite of Lily despite being the older sister.
For her voice, I want a Medium average sounding voice. Her voice could be many things, so I would like to hear any things you guys could come up with.

The Nurse is a young, cheerful, and charming character. He likes to joke around and has a good heart. He can be serious at times, however, since he is still very serious about his job.
I want a medium tone voice that is very friendly and welcoming but can switch up to seriousness in a heartbeat.

Yuuko Shirakawa is the Liberian for Yamaku academy. Yuuko is socially awkward and clumsy. Yuuko will sometimes rant about things that don't relate to the situation at hand. She will listen to Hisao, however, and will tell him advice on some issues.
For this voice I want a medium-high voice sort of like Hanako's but with more confidence in their own self. A voice that screams "I'm so sorry that you’re doing this"
