Hey friends! Today is an awesome day - the video's finally released and public! I wanted to thank the cast once again for being absolutely outstanding, and I hope you all enjoy the result!
Kaguya-Sama Chapter 72 Comic Fandub
Project Overview
What is this?
This is a fandub of a chapter from the Kaguya-Sama manga series.
The goal is to make this a really refined and entertaining one-shot experience, with carefully added music, custom foley sound effects and animations throughout the manga. If you want to get an idea of what exactly that means, check out the teaser video above!
Summary
In this chapter of Kaguya-Sama, the latest Shuchi'in Academy student council has formed, and with it comes a new addition: Miko Iino. A strict, no-nonsense member of the Public Morales Committee, she immediately clashes with the council's lazy treasurer Ishigami. As Fujiwara tries to sue for peace with her positive attitude, Shirogane and Kaguya are caught in the middle of the antics...
Please note that only four roles are present for this project, as two characters (Ishigami and Kaguya) are pre-cast!
Requirements
— A good mic, and clean audio / no background noise.
— A Discord account - we'll be organizing the project on there, so please leave your Discord in the audition notes!
— Your voice files must be sent in a .wav format.
Voice Direction
— Please submit 2-3 takes per line.
— Kaguya-Sama has an anime adaptation, and although sounding like the English Dub characters is encouraged, it's not an absolute requirement. Good performances, ability to show emotion, and compelling takes on the characters is a higher priority and auditions will be chosen based on that, so feel free to experiment and show your own unique take on the characters!
Last but not least, we may dub other chapters from the series in the future, in which case you will be offered to reprise your role if you would like to!

Shortlist Update
Hey again everyone! Once again thank you a ton for all your auditions. We've assembled a shortlist for the cast and will be making our final decision for each casting on the 10th of August. In the meanwhile, if you've been asked to audition for another character, role or to fix a technical issue please do so!
To anyone who didn't make the shortlist, please don't be disheartened! You are an incredibly talented bunch and it's no exaggeration to say the decisions were tough. Please feel free to reach out if your audition was dismissed for some feedback on why or what went into the decision to do so. I'd love to do this for every audition but there's just simply a lot of you!

Audition Reviews
Hello everyone! First off, thank you all so much for the auditions! We've been going through them as they come in, but now it's time to really sit down, and review each audition in detail to start shortlisting.
To that end, the deadline has been extended until the 6th of August while we go through all the apps. I'll be dropping some comments on auditions where relevant so be on the look out - and afterwards, the deadline may be extended a little to give people ample chance to do any extra submits.

She has a bubbly, eccentric personality, and is almost always smiling.

Miyuki Shirogane is the male protagonist of the Kaguya-sama series. He was a third-year high school student at Shuchi'in Academy and the president of the 67th and 68th Student Council.
He has a diligent, hardworking personality. Although Miyuki has a lot of pride, he's seen to be very selfless. Miyuki has a comparatively small role in this chapter.

Miko has a strong sense of justice that carries through her personality. She is strict and no-nonsense, but very naive and easily flustered by confrontation.

The Narrator is a dramatic voice that narrates the unspoken events of the Kaguya-Sama series. Although there is no specific voice for this character, many of their lines have a lot of energy in the frame, so a bold voice works best for this role!
