Hello, my name is Arctic Koopa officially, but I go by koop most of the time. I'm an animator of 5 years and I have a small YouTube channel -- SorestMercury -- I run with my best friend, where we make vfx-related videos and short films. Feel free to check out our channels respectively:

Recently after a long hiatus, we've decided to branch out to more creative mediums, and something I have been wanting to make for a long while is a completely faithful recreation of a DEATH BATTLE! episode pitting my favorite anime verses against each other: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, and Jujutsu Kaisen. This is a fan-project I have been planning for months now, and I am finally taking the steps to bring it from pre-production to production.
If you are unfamiliar with the DEATH BATTLE! web series, it is a popular web series hosted on YouTube that pits two or more fictional characters from different medias such as movies, comics, manga, TV, video games, and even mythology in a simulated battle to the death. The characters are analyzed with their respective abilities, powers, strengths and weaknesses to determine a winner.
You can expect the video to be nearly identical to a DEATH BATTLE! episode, from the video editing style, scripting, assets, and most importantly, the animation -- which I will be creating myself -- depicting the fight matchup in all its glory. I'm pulling out all the stops, so you can expect big things from this project.
IMPORTANT NOTES AND GUIDELINES:Being able to meet deadlines. I will be expecting the lines to be delivered within a week, but details are subject to change.
Interest and knowledge of the anime series in this project. Because of the nature of such a project, it's highly encouraged to brief yourself over the characters, who they are, and how they sound in both official and unofficial depictions.
Decent microphone and quality audio; XLR is preferred, but USB is totally fine. However, I request that there be no background noise or distortion; anything of such will be dismissed.
There will be screaming involved as well as light cursing, so please keep this in mind when auditioning. Make sure your audio doesn't peak or distort when submitting your audition.
Discord will be the primary form of communication and is required to continue further with this project.
Please be responsive with communications; try to respond within 24 hours of receiving messages.
Expect revisions to submissions of lines as needed when working together; ideally, this shouldn't occur often, but any complications with the animation might cause for this to occur if necessary.
PLEASE READ and FOLLOW these guidelines!! I stress that you do, as compliance with such will ensure a higher chance of being selected for the role.
Lastly, I want to note that while I would prefer similarity to the original voices, emotion and energy are most important above all. This will be a very energetic and high-octane video, which means I will need such from your voices! (that being said, being able to do both is beyond ideal)

Gojo Satoru is one of the main protagonists of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga.
He is a special grade jujutsu sorcerer and widely recognized as the strongest in the world. Satoru is the pride of the Gojo Clan, the first person to inherit both the Limitless and the Six Eyes in four hundred years. He works as a teacher at the Tokyo Jujutsu High and uses his influence to protect and train strong young allies.

Funny Valentine is the 23rd president of the United States and the true mastermind behind the Steel Ball Run race. He watches the competition from behind the curtains and hopes to gather the Saint's Corpse as a means to further the United States' ambitions. (Note: this role is merely for a small cameo, and realistically only 1-3 lines might be featured in the video).
