Project Overview

This project is a comic dub of my Webcomic, JETX.

It is a hobby project and a reward to readers who read the story. Plus, I figured it might be a fun project to do. I strictly am trying to make it free and accessible to anyone to watch on Youtube and to not make any money from this project.

    Hello kind Voice Actors!

    First off; Thank you SO much for applying to this, even though its free. Its my first project of this size and I honestly didn't expect much to come off it. So I'm so happy that folks were still applying to my silly little thing.

    Secondly you all have done so well with your takes that Ive been having a hard time choosing between folks for certain characters. Especially the voice of Katrina, hot-damn you guys nailed the tone I was looking for!

    I am nearly finished writing up the scripts needed for each character (or each actor?) to read off of with some direction. I have Jets left to type up which won't take me very long and then its proof reading before finalizing the final roles.

    That being said for roles I will be starting to pick some that I like; (Congratulations to those who have been picked thus far! Yay!).

    That being said; If there are no more auditions by the 18th of December I will be closing this early and finalizing the rest of the pickings to try and sort out sending scripts out.

    However I know how hectic Christmas and New Years events are; So Id like folks to comment below on if I should leave this to run its course so we can pick up with the work AFTER Christmas/New Years or if you don't mind which? LET ME KNOW.

    Those of you who are worried about not being picked, if this continues further. (Don't worry, this whole voice acting thing as been a really big eye opener and if folks want more of this for later chapters.) I have big plans for you all as there is some characters I believe you guys would be a match for.

    That being said; In the future even though this is free. My plans for this if it does well enough is to try and scrounge up some money so I can pay you lot in the future for more since I believe you're talent should be compensated. Buuuut we'll cross that bridge when we get over it lol.

Jet is one of the main protagonists of the story. Being snarky, playful, cocky and cheeky.


His super power is that of superspeed; So most of the time he thinks he's untouchable leaving him to be over confident in some pretty serious situations. His role of the story is that of being a Hero for the Fun of it. Disregarding this particular story being the first chapter. He grows more into a hero as the story progresses due to literally and figuatively getting his ass whooped which gets him to be more humbled.


His dialect is that of more slang and playful mannerisms when it comes to expressing himself.

Malicious Fingers is the main antagonist of the story.


I pictured his laugh to be somewhat jokerish in which its never the same twice. Albeit looking like a mix of Dr.Wily and Dr.Eggman, I pictured him having more a Wily voice from the Megaman Cartoons. However this isn't set in stone and I am open to interpretations.


He is crazy, Unpredictable. Intelligent and Dangerous; He is usually two steps ahead of whom he deems lesser in his eyes. Only being thwarted by an overwhelming force he can't seem to stop (Jet in this case and his friends). He can be calm minded one minute, then be contemplating genocide the next and he doesn't care who gets hurt along the way to reach his goals. So if you are not useful to him in the moment he needs, you are dead weight.


He's more modelled off an typical saturday morning cartoon at the beginning being akin to that of Team Rocket in Pokemon, the monster of the week in this particular story; However as the story progresses in later chapters he becomes more and more of a threat and slowly leaves that role.

Katrina McCain used be a rich only child. After being driven from her home after her mothers disappearance; She lived on the road for a year or two which toughened her up to be more tomboyish and more stubborn in her nature.


Shes a gunslinger, doesn't take no lip even though with Jets silly jokes drive her up the wall with his singlemindedness. She does her best to help out. Sometimes feeling like a burden to our other two heroes, she goes through an arc through the beginnings of later chapters which lets her shine more as both as badass "girlboss" as readers call her.


Its up to interpretation with how she sounds, but I always pictured her as the stubborn girl-friend (platonic) who gets things done even if she can't see the picture. But hidden inside is still that prim and propered young lady, So perhaps more english sounding with an accent?


I'm up for anything really til it feels like it fits her character lol

Leon is as stern as they come, He's a strategist when it comes to figuring out which step to take next and to make sure everyone comes out safely when it comes to the groups run ins with trouble.


May come off as uncaring, he's more logical at heart. Even though he cares about his friends he makes sure to do things the right way. Even though Jet has other plans of "hit things and ask questions later" mentality. The only one of the group who doesn't mess around. His biggest weakness throughout the entirety of the story so far is being the human punching bag to try and carry the baggage the others bring into the group.


For the particular role is a minor role in this chapter as he doesn't become the focus with Katrina until later stories.

He is the smartest of the trio, knowing what the bigger words mean and having the concept of knowing the danger the group face and the seriousness of situations.


However due to all his seriousness and sterness, he has a soft spot for Jet as they are actually adoptive brothers, having grown up with him within the same household when they were kids.

Jeffery Jefferson is a minor role for the story, he is made to be the exposition dump.


His personality is that of the nerd who likes to play board games and focus on his work, and is prone to huge amounts of anxiety and panic attacks when it comes to things out his control.


Personally, I haven't had much thoughts of him since right now he only shows up in 2 Chapters briefly. So Im up to improvisation of his voice.
