I Love Yoo (WEBTOON Comic Dub)
Project Overview
Hello and thank you for clicking on this project, I've always wanted to dub this WEBTOON and so I decided to at least do the prologue. This will be posted on Youtube and I'm sorry I can't pay you for your role. I don't know how much publicity this project will get, so I can't pay you just yet.
Audition Requirements:
Please respond to my messages asap if you get the part, I do not want to cast you and then need to find a new member because I didn't get a response in at least a week.
Just give me your plain audition, please do not edit your audio.
Please have little to no background noise in your audio file.
Please keep the audio quality consistent.
Try to have at least two takes for each line, changing your performance each time.
Submitting Auditions:
Give in the full audio in at least 2 weeks, I will extend the date depending if you have a good reason, I may or may not cast another person in your role if you don't submit it in time.
You can introduce yourself, but please keep the introduction under 5 seconds.
Other Information:
Some roles will not be messaged or given lines until the prologue episode is finished.
As of now, the only role I need is for Shin-Ae and some extras, if I decide to continue the project and you were not chosen for the last two roles please consider audtioning for the next casting calls I put out.

This will not be a one time comic, you must be ready for me to continue it and you must send in the voiced lines.
This series will contain explicit language, you must be comfortable swearing and sometimes talking about sexual subject matter. (May or may not need to swear, since the swearing isn't a main part of the story. If you aren't comfortable with it, but I cast you as a character that swear, please message me and I will possibly take the swearing out. Sexual subject matter may still apply.)

My Mistake~!
Thanks for the people who auditioned so far, but I'm going to remake this same exact casting call again, since I realized that I didn't change the date to a further time, you can also audition here, but the main one will be posted later. Thank you again and sorry about this! (*The new one will be posted later this day!*) -
Extras:
Please make sure you say in your audition if you're fine with being an extra along with the character you auditioned for or even just an extra. If you aren't okay with it, then you don't need to say anything. I'm posting this because I don't know if people read the whole description of this project.

Throughout her life, Shin-Ae has been bullied and along with her parents being divorced and her dad being and alcoholic, she has gone through plenty of emotional trauma.
She does whatever she thinks right and will not step back against someone intimidating, she will not accept being bossed around and will not allow someone to make her depressed. She almost has no shame as she doesn't even stay sophisticated in expensive and elegant parties.
Her life can be considered boring with her personality sometimes dull and lifeless and sometimes energetic.
Vocal Qualites:
Mid-Mid Low voice.
A teenage female
Large range of attitudes.
Line 1: My father told me, "Be strong." So I started telling myself everything is going to be okay. I'm going to be happy again... but why is everyone being cold to me?
Context: This is a flashback including Shin-Ae giving a summary of her childhood to the viewers/readers. Her voice is mid-low, while she talks seriously and sadly of her past.
Line 2: And I'll take the Heart Attack, I've been meaning to try it out! Sweet!! I'm so excited!!
Context: Shin-Ae is at a restaurant dining with her friends. her voice becomes more energetic in this scene.
Line 3: Were you the one that tripped me?? That's my cake! I got it fair and square! You better give it back!
Context: Shin-Ae goes to an elegant party with rich individuals who own businesses and corporations. Whilst trying to get a slice of tiramisu, a man trips her to get it first. In this scene, Shin-Ae portrays a very aggressive tone, and a loud one at that.

Not much information is given on her, except for the fact her father works at a expensive company.
Her voice is Mid.
Line 1: Are you sure about that?
Context: Rika is responding to Shin-Ae's idea for the future. Give a questioning tone that a friend would be saying to another friend.
Line 2: Shin-Ae I don't think that's going to work, first off they deal with plenty of creeps.
Context: She's listing reasons, so try to have a slurred but serious voice.
