Hunt: Showdown Lore (Mr. Chary - Part 2)
Project Overview
Hi there!
This is part 2 of on-going project, but this episode will act as a stand-alone, and won't be directly connected to the other parts. This part is somewhat tied into the events happening in part 1 - but exactly how is still unclear, as the developers of this game take their sweet time to deliver on conclusions.
This part will consists of a monologue by a detective, and well as a longer conversation between him and a woman whose husband is missing.
If possible, I would also love to have an illustrator onboard for this project.

Detective Herman is an investigative officer in the middle of New Orleans, investigating the disappearance of dozens of people - all due to the corruption (an invisible force driving people to madness and murder) that is terrorizing the population. Unbeknownst to him, he himself has been affected by the corruption, and is slowly losing his grip on his sanity.
“I wake up to the sound of flies.. It’s the same thing every morning. But.. there are no flies here.. I must be losing my mind.."
Conversing with the woman reporting her husband missing: “That is.. Very unfortunate, but I’m afraid there’s nothing I can do. (Notices people around them) Uhm, miss, we’re starting to draw a small audience here - are you sure you want to talk about this in public?”
Feeling the effects of the corruption taking over him: " *gasping* I.. I see it.. *gasp* The river!”
The nameless woman is this episode is looking for her missing husband. He, just like so many others, has disappeared without a trace. However, it would seem that his disappearance has something to do with the moon.
(Urgently) “Detective Herman, my husband is missing!”
(Trembling/Griefing): “My husband and I have a powerful connection, sir. He would never hide anything from me. And I didn’t see any harm in his actions.”
“I went to the river at dawn. It’s gone. No water, no fish, no nothing. Just dirty mud, rusted metal and dried blood.”
Comic-like / graphical novel-like illustrations of characters and backgrounds for the video.
