Heretical Tavern - Additional Characters
Project Overview
Hi there my name is Lucas, and I'm back at it yet again trying to get two very important roles for our comedy/drama mixed series.
But where do you come in? Well I need a few VA's to act dumb and make funny voices. Ever play Dungeons and Dragons? If not no worries but I highly recommend taking a look at the concept of Chaotic Stupid. Why? See Below:
Our skits take place in a cinematic universe where basically every main character is either Chaotic Neutral or Chaotic stupid. Be it the schizophrenic Artificer with a God Complex, the Sadistic Paladin way too in love with the crusades, the love struck Necromancer just trying to raise a family, and many many more.
Who are we?
We are Heretical Fun House. You can find us on our two primary sites here:
https://www.tiktok.com/@hereticaltavern (Our Tik Tok where all these dumb vids are uploaded)
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCypW2TiELdqodyKIAwh3i0Q (Our YouTube with skit compilations and story vids)
We make a ton of content that mostly revolves around comedic animations, podcasts, and are even making our first video game. For now though it's a bunch of DnD skits.
Our Tik Tok videos on average reach upwards of about 20,000-50,000 views and our YouTube has just broke 10,000 subscribers. So we're chugging along!
REQUIREMENTS
- No echo or plosives in the mic. Please edit it to how you want this to sound, I do a lot of post work but I can't do a ton if the recording is filled with pops or AC in the back.
- Consistency. We have several scripts available and I wanna make sure to hammer them out in batches. I usually have about three a week at max. These are tik tok scripts so less than a minute of dialogue per script.
- Have fun. Overall this project for the Tik Tok skits is a short fun little side gig designed to make people laugh. Our characters may be chaotic pains in the ass but we want to make sure at the end of every video people are laughing and having a good time.
NOTE:
- Unlike our previous casting calls these two roles are going to primarily be part of our paid YouTube projects. They will also have a higher rate as they are going to be less frequent. Unless of course the audience suddenly demands you like crazy, in which they will be in many episodes.
-Please note as well, these characters will curse and deal with very crude topics as they fall under the category of "Chaotic Stupid." So if you're uncomfortable with such things this is your heads up.

Going to be going over every audition carefully over the next few days, including any that come in this weekend. Decisions will be made this coming Sunday. Thank you all for your amazing auditions!
You are Victoria "Rabbit" Aasland, Cleric in service to the God of Endurance, Veteran Demon Hunter, and probably the fastest person on the continent. In your mind it's always Go Go Go, and the bigger the foe the better the story it will be to tell. You're mischievous, always taunting your team with playful banter, and itching to fight and travel to find something even more fun to fight.
For this character you will need to speak quickly, but of course clearly for the audience, sort of like you're on a permanent caffeine binge. We'd love some sort of non-American accent, but it's not an automatic denial if you can't, so please don't force an accent unless you're really confident in it.
So far Rabbit is only set to appear in one or two episodes, but may play a major role in the second season of our main show. I say may because... Well I don't want to leak anything in case any of our fans see this.
"Let's move little one, come on it'll be ok."
-Context: You've just rescued a child from an active battle and are trying to keep calm in order to reassure them it'll be ok."Come on kid, you’ll be ok, don’t look back! Don’t look back!"
-Context: You're running with said child away from vicious monsters, and while losing your cool you're trying to remain in charge of the situation."Sorry chief, but at the end of the day that's just how it is... Guess we get to be some kinda fucked up heroes again... You think the Gods are having a laugh at this? It's gotta be some kinda sick inside joke or something."
Context: You've just been visited by your God in the flesh, whom gave you basically a suicide mission. Not even a good holy one as well, it's just straight up beyond dangerous. But you know you have to. You're almost in shock like.... This can't be real... God just told you you're going to face horror beyond comprehension.
Nora the Thief, a Drow rogue living deep in the slums of this accursed city. Anything and everything not nailed down is just a profit waiting to be made. Your friends have all but died or betrayed you, and now you're just looking out for number one. Except for one. A Cleric always trying to convince you of a better way, and one you've yet to rob. Nora sees herself as a dead woman walking, and so is always quite tired in her speech. Often times switching to a more sultry voice with said Cleric to act playful for "One last ride" in case today is your last.
You've been around the block. Seen the worst people can do, and the best, and now you're just too tired to care for petty ideals. All the matters at the end of the day is having enough coin for a new bottle of wine, and one more day.
Currently Nora is set to appear in one episode, but we're hoping your interaction with a fan favorite character will have you returning for more and more shenanigans.
"Oh aren't you sweet. But take a look around honey, bounty hunters raid my place, an assassin in my latest home, there's just no where safe to be. I'm afraid the clock is ticking, and I don't want to be held down somewhere, even by you~"
Context: Your safehouse was just raided, you've had a day of difficult work and near death from an Assassin, and your only "friend" of such is offering help. While you don't care for people, this is one you don't want in danger. Honestly? You're not even sure why. Do you like them? Are they a friend? Is it because they're the only non-violent interaction you've had in years? Who knows... But you don't want to risk it. Bit of playful flirting at the end there, but you know it won't go anywhere. It's just for the chuckle at this point."I told you before, Orion, I'm not looking to change... I'm just in it for the ride, so stop worrying so much will ya? Can't I just have a little fun? You're ruining my mood."
Context: Caught stealing something dangerous for the wrong people, you're not only caught by your "Friend" but actively being prevented from leaving without handing it over. You know it's 50/50 to get out without losing this, and while not angry or enraged, you're definitely more bummed and annoyed more than anything.
"I like that about you. No matter how often I say goodbye, you come falling back into my life like some kind of weird shooting star. I'll be keeping this, and I'll see ya around, Orion."
Context: Having just had a light scuffle with your "friend" you finally disarm them as they barely put up a fight, leaving them in the dust and holding up the item of interest you've stolen. Normally this would be the perfect time to say Goodbye, but you've been around long enough to know it never truly is. Remember, calm, tired, a dead woman walking vibe with this.
