"Heat" Movie Remake Voice Over
Project Overview
I have a YouTube channel called "Mad Retro" (https://www.youtube.com/@madretro). On this channel, I make video game reviews/retrospectives. The following review I am creating is about Kane & Lynch 1 and 2. I wanted to remake a scene from the film "Heat" for the beginning of the video. I refer to the sequence when Deniro and Pacino talk at a restaurant (https://youtu.be/LUy2Wx_r0_w?si=_69jZhJaNHpFMU1-).
The scene in the film is 6 minutes long, but I have condensed it down to be around 1 minute for my intro of the video.
I would also love to credit you in my description!

The idea I have for it is you would do the voice-over for the character "video game backlog."
Also the scene from the film is a more serious and tense moment, but not screaming or angry. Defiantly recommend watching the scene for context because it is how I envision it. I know its not a direct word for word of the film, but I believe it would be entertaining to the audience.
Any line of dialogue with a bullet point would be the required phrases to say.
- "16 Years. Sixteen years since the first Kane and Lynch. The second one is unique, but is the first one in the franchise that dated?" -the backlog
"You looking to become a historian?" -Liam
- "You looking to play a conflicting game." -the backlog
(They both stare at each other for a moment.)
"You know I've seen some weak titles like Trigger Man or ET, but the first Kane and Lynch is on another level." -The backlog
"You must have experienced some messed-up games." -Liam
- "I've had my share." -the backlog
"You see, I'm doing this for fun. You think I'm purposely running around trying to find the most controversial games." -Liam.
- "No, I do not" -the backlog
"I do what I do best. I review. You do what you do best. Give me the games, and I talk about em'." -Liam
- "So you just want to play weak games." – the backlog
"What are those? Bubsy 3D and Superman N64" – Liam
- "Yeah" - the backlog
"Are they ever any fun" – liam
- "Honestly, never, but the video game industry always needs a disaster." – the backlog
"A guy told me once, "Don't let yourself get attached to anything you are not willing to walk out on in 30 minutes flat if you feel the heat around the corner. Now, if you're me and you gotta play when I play, how do you expect to keep a... my attention?" – Liam
- "That is an interesting point…. What are ya… a monk" – backlog
"maybe, but I only have one life. I want to find the good and bad in video games and explore why they are created." – Liam
- "Well… are you willing to retake the heat?" - backlog
