I taught English for the first 13 years of my career, and have been a school librarian for the last 16. I've always been told that I should try audiobook narration or voice acting, so now as the end of my career approaches I'm trying it.

Just starting out, so I'm trying to use current recommended indie rates:
Per hour: $60/hour with one-hour minimum
Per line: $2/line with 20-line minimum
I originally started looking into voice work as an audiobook narrator, but as I explored the field I found that I like the idea of animation character acting or audio drama. I wouldn't turn away narration jobs either. Hoping to eventually end up using VO as an enjoyable side hustle.
