What Is It:

A Frame By Frame Style Detailed Animatic Abridged Retellings of Our Studios DND game, based on a world created over 5 years ago. This Is the Casting For Book 1's concept Animatics and Book 1-3 Animatics (Possibly Animations if we can get the budget)

This is casting for the characters for our animatics Series version.

Trailers and concept versions of book 1 releasing throughout 2026

There are 12 books/Seasons each with 5 to 20 Chapters/Episodes that are planned to be released 1 to 2 a year starting in 2027 with the full version of Book 1

Inspired By things Like Dungeons And Dragons, Epic The Musical, Greek Mythology, BBC Merlin, Dragon Prince, Avatar The Last Airbender, Legends Of Vox Machina

Plot

Set in The Original World Of Thalion, Watched over by the Greek gods of Old, a world with no magic until 12 Mages were chosen for the 12 schools of Magic to defend the world. Thousands of Years Later the world bursting with magic, and the high mages have all but disappeared, except the mage of Necromancy who has begun his attempt to take over the world from the shadows, The Guardians of the Dragons Breath Guild, are set to protect the world form his dark force and find the new high mages to Stop Newarki and bring peace to the world before it's too late

Roles Size

Determined by size of part in each book they appear in

Role Size May Change Throughout production after auditions. we are still fully writing the rest so these are the current role sizes for each book they are in subject to change (will tell actors if changes)

Minor roles are usually 1 and done and we will only reach out if we want to ask if you will play other background characters or if we need to rerecord

Medium roles are roles that are expected to have multiple appearances throughout and are typically semi reoccurring characters

Big roles are expected to be working for us on and off the next 4 years and are characters that are extremely reoccurring or main characters

Required

We love auditions from anyone no matter race, Gender, sexual orientation we base it off the voice and if it's the right fit for the character so for example if you want to audition for a role of a different gender or something like that go for it

The only rules we have are

  1. Must have discord and regularly check it and to be able to join our server as That Is Our Main Form of Communication

  2. You must have a good quality mic with no background noise

  3. No using audio editing to enhance your voice (Ex Auto tune, It is okay to edit out background noise but we request you send in both the edited and unedited recordings if that's the case)

  4. Must be responsive when we reach out and get lines submitted in a reasonable time and communicate if not possible

  5. Must understand that we are in pre pre production so it's the long game meaning we will get lines to you when we have the final draft for each scene written but the timetable will be far out (Rough Plan Is A all lines minus retakes being done by 2028 and the last Book, Book 12 is set to release before 2035)

  6. Do not ask to play in our DND campaign

  7. Must be older Than 16 (If you are under 18 their our extra perceptions in place for everyone's safety especially for those under age)

  • No Upfront Payment

  • All Cast Members will get a Small Percentage of whatever profits we make from The videos they are in. If/when We start making Profit. This will be paid using paypal or Venmo or another service we can discuss Later (This percentage and details will be discussed after casting)

Note: this is all the casting for the roles for every character from book 1 to book 3 and then there is going to be a total of 12 books as well as multiple spin off projects (we will say if your role might be part of that when you get it)

Role Size in books 7-12 are subject to slightly change once we get that far in the writing process as we are primarily focused on the first 6 books for writing right now

So be prepared and willing to stick it out that long if you are not audition for stuff in book 1 and 2

    Hey everyone! 👋

    We’re officially wrapping up Wave 1 of auditions for Harbingers of Chaos!
    First off, a huge thank-you to everyone who auditioned — the turnout, passion, and performances were incredible.

    ‎
    While we’ve successfully cast most roles from Wave 1, there are a few characters we’ve decided not to cast just yet.
    This is because we want to refine their direction and vocal tone a bit more before making final selections.
    We’d rather take a little extra time to make sure each character’s voice truly fits their role and personality.

    There are also a couple crew role applications we are still reaching out to and some voice actors we are waiting on responses from.

    Auditions for Wave 2 are now open and will run until December 17th.
    This round includes:

    • Additional main and supporting characters
    • Recast opportunities
    • A few new roles being introduced for upcoming shorts and Book 1

  • Quick Update

    Hello There, just a quick update we are hard at work preparing the second wave and going through all the auditions.

    With the vast amount of auditions it's taking longer than originally expected to go through all of them and decide who to cast and who to do call backs with and interview for crew positions

    I just wanted to update you all that we are still working hard at going through them and I will announce her once we have reached out to everyone we are interested in here soon (hopefully in the next week or two 1k auditions is a lot to listen to) as well as when wave 2 launches

  • Thank You Update

    Wow… just wow… I am amazed by how many of you auditioned I mean as of the deadline we have 1068 auditions and 440 following! That's insane. I am so thankful and happy for your interest. I wish I could cast all of you but sadly I cannot.

    Going forward here are the updates

    We will be going through the auditions in the next couple weeks and reaching out to people for Callbacks for certain roles and casting for others as well as crew interviews.

    Wave 2 of auditions will be launching as a separate project here on casting Call in May.


    I will be sending an update on this project when all casting is done and when wave 2 launches with the link.

    I just real quickly want to address The mass Spam comment by the account Mesh on a majority of the auditions we had before today.

Character Details: A changeling/shapeshifter, in a world where Changelings are hunted like the witches of Salem as there blood has magical properties. after the death of her entire family she choses to stay in the form of a dark elf, Taken In by the leader of the dragons breath guild and raised, incredibly gifted as a spy and assassin at an early age she was sent to Infiltrate the Church of Syriac that is a church said to be of a god of honor and war but is actually a cult of a god of lies and trickery brainwashing their members. their she met her true love Keth the Paladin. after 10 years undercover her, Keth and Keths friends overthrow the cult leader and save the members then she goes on to travel with the group


A rogue changeling, Spy, a shadow able to look like whoever she wants and lie and manipulate to benefit the greater good

Some might say that the Compositor has the nicest role in the animation process. It is certainly one of the most rewarding because the compositor's job is to assemble the different characters and backgrounds into single frames and sequences and so is often the first to begin to see the animation as intended for the final audience.
