Hi, this is Napa Sensei, and this is the Fist of the North Star Episode 37 fandub. The whole goal of this fandub is to basically finish the original English dub Fist of the North Star got in the '90s. I aim to achieve this by providing voice matches for the original English voice actors for the characters in that dub. For characters that were never dubbed by Manga Entertainment, I will either provide a clip from the recent movie or video game dubs to help guide you, although for the roles I need right now, this is not strictly necessary.
This is an emergency casting call as I only need a few more characters to be voiced. I’m especially in need of someone to voice Mamiya, as I’ve had trouble finding a voice actor whose performance closely matches that of the original English dub. If you feel you can capture this, please reach out! Additionally, I’ve added a role for Kenshiro’s love interest, Yuria—referred to as "Yulia" in this fandub to stay consistent with the original English Dub. If you believe you can bring the original voices of Mamiya or Yulia to life, I’d love to hear from you.
This fandub I’ve been working on for almost a whole year just for one episode, and it’s 99% done. If anyone here is able to do a good Mamiya or Yulia impression, please do audition and use the voice references I’ve provided. I’ve extended the amount of time for the project, so please do audition if you think you’ll be a match for what I’m looking for.
Mamiya is the leader of her own village in the Fang Clan arc. She assigns Kenshiro and Rei as the protectors of her village to keep it safe. She is a warrior at this point in the story and, while not fighting as much as Kenshiro and Rei, She has her moments. Voice Reference
