Final Fantasy X Fandub: Yunalesca Scene
Project Overview
Hello everyone!
I am looking for voice actors to help me dub a short scene in Final Fantasy X. This is purely for fun and no one will be compensated monetarily. If you are a lover of the Final Fantasy series, I encourage you to audition. I do plan on fandubbing MORE scenes from Final Fantasy X, as it is my favorite game. Please review the following. I am currently planning on VAing Yuna, but if I feel like I am not up to the task, I will open Yuna up at a later date.

Requirements:
- Please have a dedicated and clear microphone to record all lines. This is immensely important, as we want the cleanest version of your voice as possible. A bit of background noise is usually something I can remove, but it has to be manageable.
- Have a Discord account, in order to communicate directly with me and your fellow VAs. I will be posting the scripts on there and we will host live practice sessions for those who want it. - Please have open communication. If for some reason you are unable to send your lines by the deadline, please let me know, so I can adjust accordingly! The most frustrating thing is having 0 communication and having to forcibly remove someone from the project. ): Just let me know!

Tidus is upbeat and carefree and at first appears childish. He turns more serious when things get hectic, and despite his carefree ways, conceals a troubled past. Tidus is sensitive and even when giving an emotional response to most of his arguments, tends to give a good rationale. Having been picked on throughout his childhood by his blitzball-playing father motivated Tidus to become a blitzball player himself.
(foreboding) Listen to my story. This.. may be our last chance.
No promises there, big guy. Hey, but what if -she-, like, comes on to -me-?
When you're playing blitzball, you gotta think about blitz and nothing else. If you do, that's when you lose.
Yeah, that's right! You can always count on Auron to complicate things!
(to Auron, angrily) .. No! That's ridiculous! No way! I don't believe you!(feeling hopeless) And I've been telling Yuna—'Let's go to Zanarkand together!' 'Let's beat Sin!' I told her all the things...we could...we could...and all along the whole time, I didn't know anything! But Yuna, she'd…just smile.
Auron is a strict, no-nonsense warrior with a dry wit who carries himself with grace and dignity, maintaining many subtle mannerisms of a traditional samurai. He is the strong silent type, speaking when he feels it's necessary—usually offering his knowledge and insight in relevant situations or sharing stories of his past experiences as a young guardian.
(To Tidus) These ones don't matter. We cut through!

A fayth. They join with a summoner, and together receive the aeon. They are human souls, imprisoned in stone by ancient Yevon rites. The dead should be allowed to rest.Legendary guardian? I was just a boy. A boy about your age, actually. I wanted to change the world, too. But I changed nothing. That is my story.
(This is one of the most impactful lines in the game, so please say it with much importance!)
Now! This is it! Now is the time to choose! Die and be free of pain, or live and fight your sorrow! Now is the time to shape your stories! Your fate is in your hands!
Rikku is kind-hearted, spirited, happy-go-lucky, and energetic, which sometimes clashes with the more stoic group members. She looks up to Lulu as a role model, impressed with her calm, levelheaded nature. Rikku tries to maintain a positive outlook, but there is a stark contrast when she is upset; despite her happy exterior, she carries some insecurities, particularly when it comes to her future and what she wants to be. Rikku is bilingual and skilled in chemistry and alchemy. She has astraphobia (fear of lightning) after a mishap involving Brother and a stray Thunder spell in her youth, overcoming it by Final Fantasy X-2 by camping out in the Thunder Plains for a week. Rikku is loyal to Yuna yet is the most vocal opponent to the ongoing pilgrimage. She bonds with Tidus, perhaps because of their similar personalities and devotion to Yuna.

Memories are nice, but that's all they are.
You know, don't you? Summoners journey to get the Final Aeon. Yuna told you, didn't she? With the Final Aeon, she can beat Sin. But then...but then.. if she calls it, the Final Aeon's going to kill her! Even if she defeats Sin, it will kill Yunie too, you know!Heh heh heh heh heh heh heh... [Lightning strikes.] AH!!
Lady Yunalesca is a non-player character and antagonist from Final Fantasy X. She was the first summoner to defeat Sin and bring forth the Calm. As an unsent, she is stoic and emotionless. She is hardly human and has a very narrow-minded view on the world of Spira.
(to the party, stoic) Hope is comforting. It allows us to accept fate, no matter how tragic it might be.
Could humanity achieve such purity?
Poor creature. You would throw away hope? Well.. I will free you before you can drown in your own sorrow. It is better to die in hope than to live in despair. Let me be your liberator.
Wakka uses speech-mannerisms like "brudda" for "brother" and finishes sentences with "ya?". He begrudges the Al Bhed for what happened to his brother, Chappu, but rationalizes his hatred for Al Bhed not following the teachings of Yevon.
He has a big heart and frequently attempts to cheer the party up, though is not always successful. He tends to goof around with younger members of the group, much to the annoyance of Lulu, who berates him for setting a bad example. Though they bicker, Wakka is close to her, and affectionately calls her "Lu".
Wakka depends on Yevon's religion and guidance making him socially conservative and thus is intentionally kept in the dark about Yuna's half-Al Bhed heritage. Because of his high value in his religion, Wakka is reluctant to participate in anything considered forbidden by its teachings.
(Wakka has a HEAVY islander/Hawaiian accent, I couldn't find that accent on the project page, so I'll point it out here.)
This is the only time! The players fight with all their strength: the fans cheer for their favorite team. They forget pain, suffering... Only the game matters! That's why blitz has been around for so long. 'Least that's what I think.
Nope, we got a new goal now! Our new goal...is victory! To win every match, defeat every opposing team! To bring the Crystal Cup back to our island! That's all we need to do to win! Easy, ya?A summoner with bed hair! What's the world comin' to?

Lulu is stern and scathing (particularly to Wakka), self-possessed, sardonic, moody, cynical, and does not smile often. She is nonetheless kind-hearted, caring and intelligent, and is one of the few Yevonites to question the religion on objective terms. Having lost her lover to Sin, Lulu has become reserved and prefers to keep her emotions locked up, choosing to examine the world with realism and logic. She is a big-sister figure to Yuna to whom she is fiercely loyal.
Yuna chose her own path. She knew from the beginning what it meant. All we can do is protect her along the way. Until the end.
(to Tidus) I shouldn't have to say this, but don't fall in love with her.
Wakka's... a bit lacking in the imagination department.You truly are clueless. Are you sure it's just your memory that's the problem? The dead need guidance. Filled with grief over their own death, they refuse to face their fate. They yearn to live on, and resent those still alive. You see, they envy the living. And in time, that envy turns to anger, even hate. Should these souls remain in Spira, they become fiends that prey on the living. Sad, isn't it? The sending takes them to the Farplane, where they may rest in peace.
Amazing. Simply amazing. You make up one theory after another, refusing to face the simple truth. Sin didn't take Chappu anywhere. Sin crushed him and left him on the Djose shore! Your brother won't just pop back. Oh, and one more thing. No matter how much you want it, no one can take Chappu's place. No one can replace Sir Jecht, for that matter. And there's no replacement for Lord Braska, either. It's pointless to think about it, and sad.
Kimahri is a Ronso of very little words. He speaks in broken English and is devoted to Yuna as her guardian.Mostly out of shame over his broken horn, Kimahri rarely speaks to anyone. Whenever he does, he only talks to those he likes and trusts, which is a main part of why he does not initially talk to the male protagonist Tidus.
Despite his frightening appearance, Kimahri can be gentle and kindhearted. He gets angry quite easily, but he always directs his anger towards those who threaten his companions. He's also fully dedicated to Yuna's safety, and is usually the first to be around when Yuna needs help. He doesn't hesitate to show his strength to others. This is further hinted by his resolve to reclaim his honor from his people.

You have angered Kimahri! The spirits of the Ronso will guide Kimahri’s spear!Al Bhed is Al Bhed. Rikku is Rikku. Rikku swore to protect Yuna. And Rikku is not a liar. Kimahri can tell. So, she is a friend.
Yuna needs Kimahri. Kimahri protect Yuna.
