FFXIV - In His Garden Fandub
Project Overview
This fandub is towards the end of Shadowbringers, after the event of Mt. Gulg. The ending of that place and stuff after really got me good in the feels. You know the event's after the MC started to "becoming a sin eater" according to Emet-Selch. I always loved this scene and I wanted to make a Fandub project out of it. And yes I have the script ready and the reference video will be added tomorrow. I hope you all also liked this scene cuz it's so full of emotions and feels!

The (mostly) silent protagonist. Azurumi is a friendly, social and brave little Miqo'te who's always ready to protect her friends and loved ones. She is from the Seeker of the Sun tribe and she was abandoned when she was just a little baby due her biological mother's death after she was born. She got adopted by a young couple who raised her as their own. She has rare colored pink eyes and short wine-red hair. She likes to hang out at Limsa Lominsa a lot with her friends and she likes to travel.
[worried] "What happend?"
[defeatedly]: "The secrecy is worse. I'd rather people knew..."
[bonus line (not gonna appear on a video but I just put it here for the heck of it, same defeated tone as on 2nd line] "I still can't believe it's coming from me..." / "It's all a mess..."
Ardbert is angry, brash and cynical. Quick to decry the notion of heroes and bemoan his role in dooming his world to a Flood of Light, he acts as a foil to the Warrior of Light and their companions' consistent optimism. Ardbert is good at heart and treasures his companions dearly, expressing anger and frustration at being forced to play the villain during his time on the Source to save his world.
When the Warrior of Light travels to the First much later (due to the time difference between the Source and the First), Ardbert is surprised that someone can finally hear him. Ardbert reveals more of his history gradually as the Warrior of Light (now known as the Warrior of Darkness) vanquishes the Light from the First.
[to MC (Azurumi)] "You're in a corner, and there doesn't seem to be any obvious way out. ...But that doesn't mean it's over. However hopeless it seems, you haven't lost yet."
[reminiscing the past while looking at the sky filled with Light] "I remember looking up at the sky like this before─being caught up in a strange kind of calm. It was after we realized we were responsible for the Flood. When we resolved to journey to the Source by taking our own lives. ...One last sacrifice, one last fight...one last failure. And then the Oracle appeared and...well. You know the rest."
"There were times in the years and decades that followed when I wondered if we might not've been better off just letting the Rejoining happen. "
[looks to MC and smiles a little] "But seeing that giant Talos stir to life cured me of any doubts I still had."
A pixie with a heart of gold, Feo Ul is kind and warm to those whom they considers friends. The Crystal Exarch even calls them the Paragon of pixies. Though they can be just as mischievous and childishly playful as their fellow pixies, Feo Ul is not selfish; it is simply their nature as a pixie. Pixies may be eternal, but they live for "the here and now," not bothering with futures that may or may not come.
Feo Ul is protective of the Warrior of Darkness from the Source, calling them their "sapling" and themself their "branch". Though this relationship could be considered how one affectionately treats a beloved object, Feo Ul does indeed care for the Warrior's well-being. Whenever the Warrior requests their assistance, they scold them immensely for not doing so sooner.
[to MC] "I was worried you were up here all alone, brooding and fretting and wallowing in your woes. But look at you─grinning at nothing like a pollen-drunk pixie! Hmph! Look at what you've done to your aether! It's a mess! And you have cracks running all through that pretty soul of yours! My poor little sapling. Whatever am I to do with you?"
"Shall I yield up my throne? You could claim it── cut ties with the mortal world, hide away in the castle... It won't fix the problem...but would it really matter? If any pesky heroes come calling with steel and magic, all of Il Mheg will rise up in your defense."
"My dear, beloved sapling. You are lost── confused── and have precious little time to gather your wits. Your kind is always so preoccupied with what lies ahead, and so we muddle your vision with fog and glamour. But such trickery is easy to see through."
