Fallout: Cascadia Demo - A Mod for Fallout 4 [Round 1][CANCELED]

Project Overview

FALLOUT: CASCADIA

A PROJECT FOR FALLOUT 4

-----------------------------------------------------------

SYNOPSIS

------------------------

Fallout: Cascadia aims to bring the Fallout experience to the Pacific Northwest and let you explore the massive ruins of Seattle, meet the NCR once again, stumble across new enemies and factions, all through the eyes of our new protagonist - the Drifter.

This mod is centered around the massive ruins of downtown Seattle. The world itself is one of the biggest ones ever seen in the Fallout setting as far as playable space goes with several settlements to visit, massive forests and swamps to traverse and several unique locations all with their own stories. All accompanied by all new quests and enemies.

Fallout: Cascadia is developed entirely by volunteers, some coming from the game development industry, some new to the field and some who are just hobbyists - no matter your background, we’re always looking for more talented developers. Fallout: Cascadia will be forever free to enjoy.

WHAT IS MY ROLE IN THIS?

----------------------------------

As casting and voice director for Fallout: Cascadia, I will be casting and directing all the voice actors cast for a role in this project.

WHAT IS YOUR ROLE IN THIS?

----------------------------

I am looking for various actors who are willing to bring the cast of this project to life. The cast is wide and varied and will need a strong cast of voice actors to deliver the lines.

Payment for each role for this round is a flat rate of $100.

INSTRUCTIONS

---------------------

If you are cast for a role, you will receive a script through CCC DMs or email with recording instructions, deadline, accent specifications, character bios, and line directions. If you want to discuss alternate communication methods, that can be arranged.

I expect lines to be sent back for all characters following the correct organization.

For auditioning, It would be best if you were recording through audio recording software like Audacity or Adobe Audition. You should export and submit your audition as a .MP3 or .WAV audio file with the settings of 44.1 kHz, 24-bit, and mono recording format.

For the audition scripts, there is a download link in the description for each role that will give you a PDF to the audition script. For auditioning, you must do 1 line from at least 15 of the categories in the PDF. If you're already cast for a role and want to audition for another one - you can do so.

- The Bloodbags are only a raider gang by association. Descended from the dwellers of Vault 56, they prey on the Pacific Wasteland, feeding their victims to their Bloodbugs if not outright eating them. Their territory is marked by gore and brutality, and they wear tattered vault suits, some carrying the remains of their victims as crude clubs.

- The Bloodbags were first spotted in 2231, although unconfirmed reports claim that they made a handful of appearances as early as 2145. They quickly fortified the area around Vault 56, devouring the locals and finding a quick affinity for Bloodbugs, which they saw as an extension of their vampire ways.

Over time, they would grow from a minor threat to a major, as their brutality and night vision would make them extremely adept combatants against anything falling short of an ROC patrol. They would eventually be hemmed in, not by force, but by a clever wastelander who found that they were repelled by crosses. This hasn't prevented their expansion in totality, but it did enough to prevent them from surging towards new targets.

Very little is known about their history and ways. Things can be gleamed from their bizarre speech and camps, but many things, such as where their children are, are unknown. Attempts to capture them have typically resulted in the Bloodbag biting their own tongue off or refusing to speak even when tortured to near death.

What is known paints a bleak picture of violence and dogma, mingled with radiation poisoning.

- The Bloodbags are purely organized by force and cunning. Every individual sees themself as disposable, leading many to perform extreme and violent acts to seize power within the clan. Conflicts over leadership have been observed, and seem to be resolved via duels to the death, either with bare hands or sharpened ribs, studded with metal. The victor devours the loser.

- The Bloodbags are a riff on cave-dwellers from films such as The Descent or Bone Tomahawk, as well as vampires in media like Twilight or Vampire: The Masquerade. Their speech is similar to that of Skaven (a race of intelligent rats) from Warhammer Fantasy.
