Project Overview
Introduction
If you're a fan of F-Zero, we've got good news for you! We're working on an abridged parody of the anime adaptation, F-Zero: Falcon Densetsu! The series will retell the story of the original show with an original script that shortens the overall runtime, while providing additional humor and commentary. This casting call is for characters who will debut in Lap 02, which includes two recurring characters and a multitude of extras.
Audition Guide
SPOILER WARNING: This casting call contains spoilers for F-Zero: Falcon Densetsu, and the direction we are taking in Falcon MENT.

To audition anonymously, send submissions to the email provided in the pdf by the end of Sunday, October 15th, 2023 at 11:59pm PST.
Email Subject must be ‘Falcon MENT - Character Name - Your Name’.
Must be 18 or older to audition.
This is a nonprofit fan-based parody. Voice Actors will NOT be paid.
Lines must be recorded in .mp3 / .wav, with minimal background noise. At least 128kbps for mp3 files, all files normalized to -14 dB.
You may only audition for up to three characters in this casting call, but you may be considered for additional roles, and asked to send additional walla tracks for background parts.
The lines in the audition guide are to test the range of vocal performances, and do not necessarily reflect the material present in the final script.
If you land a recurring role, please be prepared to commit to that role for an estimated five years.
We are using Discord as our primary platform to coordinate production. If you land a role, please have a Discord account prepared to communicate with the director.
Knowledge of the source material is not required. but it is recommended for the sake of context and inspiration.

Description:
An F-Zero fangirl who joins the Mobile Task Force after following Ryu to the Galaxy Police HQ after a race. Proving her worth as a mechanic, she becomes the apprentice to Dr. Clash, and is also a pilot herself. In the source material, she develops a crush on Ryu, but in our abridgement, we will be taking some creative liberties. Her revised backstory has her as the victim of neglect in many formative relationships, initially causing her to develop an unhealthy, bordering on romantic, fixation on machines. She has emotional safeguards, but in the end, she finds friends and a nurturing environment with the Mobile Task Force.
