Project Overview
What is Excel Saga?
Excel Saga is an anime that was based off the manga by Koshi Rikdo but turned into an anime by Shinichi Watanabe. The anime is nothing like the manga and is a parody of anime and not meant to be serious. A man named Il palazzo wants to take over the world so he made this organization called ACROSS to do so. Excel Excel and Hyatt are his two employees. Excel sucks at her job and Hyatt is Anemic and dies every 10 seconds. Excel has a dog called Menchi and she'll eat him eventually.

How do you keep in contact?
I have officially created a google classroom! The class code is given to you if you get the part. This is how I send you things like lines, information, etc.
Is this the official deadline?
The deadline is officially May 30. If I dont get any new good auditions by then the project will be concluded and discarded.
There are mature themes in Excel Saga and if you're uncomfortable with that then this project isn't for you.
How much will I get for this?
I don't have money to pay you but I will give you credit. Just tell me how. I prefer you using your first and last name or a stage name like "Jane Doe" or "John Doe"
Things I will reject you on
1. A bad mic
if your audition has potential but you have a bad quality mic, I may consider you but you must get a better mic. An iphone recording is definitely okay to use for this project but you MUST edit the audio well so air condition or other noises don't get in the way. Garage band is a must have to edit on iphone. NO ANDROIDS unless they are good sounding.
2. Unedited audio
come on dude. At least try to edit it a little.
3. Over Slating
Slating is basically the process of saying "Hi my name is ____ and im auditioning for the role of ____"
I don't need you to slate but if you do don't make it longer than 10 seconds. You can put info about your audition in the description.
The first episode will air on Young Zebra Media's youtube channel. Young Zebra media is a company I own. Maybe on other platforms such as IGTV, TikTok, Etc.
I don't need you to be some big hollywood actress with 60 years of experience. I just want someone who can bring characters to life just by reading text. I don't want you to sound like the English dub actors I want you to look at a character and instantly know what you think they sound like just by reading their personality and face.

Excel is the hyper protagonist of Excel Saga. A ditzy Genki girl who had gotten a job at ACROSS, a very unsuccessful organization, to help Il-Palazzo, her boss, take over the world. She's always yelling and energetic all the time so you have to be willing to yell a lot without plosives getting in the way. You must be energetic as well. Also you will be required to sing the theme song (if you get the part I will tell you the lines.) It is preferred you have a North American accent for this role.
Of course I survived that! If I died, the whole entire plot would suffer! *say this enthusiastically and energetically*
Even this very structure will soon belong to Il-Palazzo. The small minded population is wasting away working hard to construct this. This gives me too much work to do. *say this in a normal but still happy and energetic voice NOT TOO HYPER*
Il-Palazzo is the founder of ACROSS and Excel's boss. His plan is to take over the world but his employee's suck. His voice is deep and serious. Although he comes off as a serious leader, he is shown to have normal hobbies that he does while his employees do stuff for him like playing the guitar and playing dating simulators. It is preferred you have a North American accent for this role.
It is only proper that the world should be set to rights. But, if we were to unite the Earth, the small minded masses will be unable to keep pace. *say it in a neutral and serious tone*
Pedro is a random character who died while working in Japan for his son and sexy wife due to an accident Excel caused. He's in almost every episode despite being dead and begs that the great will of the macronism give him life again. He is a kind man who cares deeply for his wife and kids although his wife got with another guy during his passing and cheated on him even when he was alive.
Well maybe Pedro should just show you the unpremeditated flashback *say this in a sad tone in the latin american accent*

Mitsaki is one of the members in n enemy organization against cross. She has a deep and calm sexyish voice (not too sexy.) She's a haughty strong woman who likes to be in charge.

According to Fandom, Norikuni is Brash, self-centered, and noisily infatuated with Matsuya and Ropponmatsu Unit 1, Iwata is generally disliked but tolerated by his neighbors and co-workers. His tendency to make inappropriate statements towards women and his rivalry with Ropponmatsu Unit 2 often lead to him being physically assaulted.
