Hi! My name is Nevaeh Williams, and I'm an SVA animation student looking for voice actors for my thesis film!
The scripts have been split for this film, so casting will be done in two parts: The first will see the casting of the main roles (Samaira and Andy) during the end of September for the shorter Duo Script, and the second will see the casting of the supporting characters later near winter/end of the year for the Ensemble Script.
Keep in mind that if you are cast as either lead role, you will need to reprise your role at a later date to record the ensemble version of the script.
SYNOPSIS:Samaira and Andy just broke up yesterday and must work together at Doppio Café the next day. Samaira is more than eager to bypass the emotions that arise from the situation, but Andy is too willing to revel in them. Coworkers Yousef and Casiopea hesitantly try to guide the two to a better standing with each other, as the exes' workplace dysfunction causes unnecessary tension. The two eventually come to better understandings, but ultimately choose to go their separate ways.
REQUIREMENTS:Cast synergy is vital for this project. Looking for voice actors who work well in ensembles and can emulate natural tones of dialogue. Voice recording will take place over Zoom simultaneously (all voice actors record at the same time), please adjust equipment to record audio while listening to video call audio.

Samaira is one of the leads of Doppio. She's snarky, self-assured, and privy to overexertion in times of denial. She's just started "recovering" from her breakup with Andy and isn't taking it too well, in fact she wishes not to take it at all and just move on regardless of her real feelings.
Looking for a low, raspy tone of voice. If possible a sort of posh British accent would do nicely, but don't be afraid to read with an American accent!

Looking for a higher pitched, chatty tone of voice. Experiment with different levels of girliness/camp with her lines.
