DOGTOOTH EPISODE 0-A STAR IS REBORN
Project Overview
Dogtooth Angel Zsaciel is an upcoming indie animated series I’m developing about a “resurrection deity” named Zsaciel who dreams of travelling the universe and befriending the people of the world. However, in order to do so, he must answer the wishes and prayers of those who call upon him in their hour of need.
I am currently working on finalising scripts, recruiting voice actors, and developing a storyboard for a short film titled Episode 0 – A Star is Reborn, which will serve as a prologue to the series. Although this project is currently unpaid, I aim to use the completed short film as a proof of concept to seek funding.

As the second coming of the titular Dogtooth Angel and the reincarnation of Michael, Zsaciel is an extroverted, starry-eyed, adventure-seeking little bugger who wishes to travel the universe and befriend people across the world. He believes happiness is fulfilled when spent in the company of others.
Looking for a young male/female doing a young males voice. I imagine he sounds like your wide eyed, husky cough drop voiced little brother who wants to do everything with you. Like Jason Marsden (Max Goof), Greg Ayres, or a higher pitched Dean Winters. Goes into a deeper register when he goes into humanoid form.

(Curious) Select a planet? This must be it! Look at ‘em! Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Earth! There’s so many I can’t pick they’re all so bizarre and goofy looking! I wanna visit them all!
(Neutral/Disappointed) if company is only there when you need something from somebody, then Id rather just be friends with the void.
Coming from a family of all-powerful, angelic star beings who watch over the universe, Michael took pity on humanity in its misfortune. He stepped down to intervene, answering people’s prayers and helping others, sacrificing himself for the cause. People revered him as the Dogtooth Angel, and after his eventual disappearance, they began forming a religion that awaited his return. Torn between being idolised as a god and running from a family who saw themselves as gods, Michael’s wish was to find the real God.
Looking for both male and female (imitiating a young male) voice, whatever you think a whimsical Messianic figure would sound like.
(Flabbergasted) (Claps hands in perfect rhythm) No, no, no, no, no, we’re not doing this! We don’t eat people anymore! We made an agreement!
(Serious) We’re one. Any blood on your hands will splash onto mine.
(Sincere) I’ll be right by your side. At all times. I swear. I stake my life on it.
The misanthropic, omnicidal egomaniac known as the Dogtooth Devil. Also brother of Michael. When he’s not sending out devices to bring death and destruction to the world, he’s basking in solitude, longing to become fully intangible.
Sounds deliciously evil to me. Like Rupert Everett (Dr. Claw), Tim Curry (Darkness). Also thinking of Plankton screaming when he screams.
(Passsionate) We’re Gods, MICHAEL. GODS. We were born to sit at of the top of the pecking order and watch the maggots squabble below! It’s our birthright! Every single thing that’s gone wrong in MY life, YOUR life and our family’s life, was because you rejected that. It’s the reason why we’re stuck together in this predicament.

Patient and stoic , Jaspar values routine and diligence. He enjoys making incense sticks to burn while he prays and meditates, and he lifts weights in his free time. Ambiverted and purpose-oriented.
Open to any male adult voice really, he’d be soft spoken and gentle.
If I were to die today I’d be satisfied. The comet doesn’t matter to me. What matters is that we didn’t leave our little brother stuck here alone.
A pure geek through and through, he gets easily excited and absorbed in new things. He’s a pure adventure boy, just like Zsac. Although he picks up new hobbies pretty easily, he primarily loves fighting games and observing stars. Extroverted and objective-oriented.
He sounds pretty boisterous, thinking of LongBeachGriffy, paperboxhouse, Major Attaway (Queen).
(Excited) *Gasp* Oh my god Feast your frickin’ eyes guys, look over there! It’s him! It’s really….him? Was he always this yellow?
(Scared, then jovial) WOAH! Jesus you startled me! I’m sorry I dozed off earlier. I thought I’d sneak off while you guys were talking and set this bitch up. This thing right here is my beloved DS. I’ve cherished this thing for about, what….11? 12 years. It’s my gift to you. It’s got an action replay card with thousands of games on it. I’ve never gotten bored playing it!
Disillusioned and lazy, he’s either watching his “stories” (wrestling), sleeping or getting drunk off his myrrh cocktail concoctions. He’s a little temperamental too, often pushing people away. Very goal-oriented. Instant “ITS DA FREAKING BAT” vibes from him. Carl from ATHF, Walter White lowkey are references I would recommend.
