Doctor Whooves and Assistant: EP 16 Casting
Project Overview
Hello everyone, I'm Basic or also Mikhayla. The current director of the MLP Fanmade Audio Drama, Doctor Whooves and Assistant. We need your help to fill these very important roles, for crew and characters.
This is an unpaid project and fully voluntary. We can't pay any of the crew nor the cast, so we only recommend being a part of the team if you have passion for the project.
There is an age limit to this project and we ask that everyone that applies for these positions are 16+. We want to support the young and incredible minds. We encourage you to build your skill, however, though being tied to the MLP franchise, it is a fanmade series crossover with Doctor Who, with a more mature target audience.
We want to make a fully dedicated team to this amazing project written by JitterBugJive. Please again only audition if you have passion for this project, we aren't asking to put all the time in the world, all we ask is to have a passionate team for this amazing batch of characters.

Lyra; BonBon’s partner and the more careless one out of the relationship, has a fascination with aliens and anything sci-fi. Brave, and a bit naive; Lyra goes head first into any situation she finds herself in, and is the rock for BonBon when she needs grounding… but is always trying to get BonBon out of her comfort zone.

Oh sweetie. Come here, I shouldn’t have said that, I’m sorry… You know I don’t mean to stress you out, I’m just really absent minded sometimes. I’ll try to do better and pick up after myself, you’re right, I should do my part around the house. You had another rough day at the candy store huh?
[excited] You’re an ALIEN?! Ohh you don’t look like an alien though, what’s alien about you? Do you have glow in the dark fur, or weird colored blood, or are you in some kind of disguise right now and you’re actually furless?!
… Huh. Well anyway we understand each other. It appears we’re going to be cage neighbors for a while so we might as well get to know each other. [whispers] This is so cool I’m talking to an actual alien. [speaks up] My name is Lyra Heartstrings and this is my very good friend BonBon.
BonBon; Lyra’s partner, and the seemingly more responsible one in their relationship. Whenever Bon becomes stressed or overwhelmed, her voice shifts, and becomes more nasilly or high pitched (examples below). Being thrown into the current situation she’s in, despite being worried and scared, her secret training shows through to rescue Lyra.

Lyra, Lyra. Lyra where are you? [yelp] Ugh, she left her alien toys on the floor again. What does she see in these made up monsters…? I am so sick of having to clean up after her. When I see her I’m going to- ... [angry] I’ll tell you what’s wrong! Every day you keep leaving your alien dolls on the floor and I always have to clean it up!
[voice briefly changes to something lighter] It’s just [clears her throat, voice goes back to normal] It’s been making me very stressed lately.
[starts breathing heavily]... [suddenly her voice changes into the “I didn’t put those in my bag voice”] You call this nothing to panic about?! [voice changes, flustered] Listen you, Lyra is everything to me, I won’t have you telling me I’m doing too much for her. Ahem. [quiets down, voice returns to normal] These vents are like a maze!
“Red”; An alien that was taken from his home and experimented on. He sounds and looks intimidating. Something that looks scary and unnerving, however, he’s a soft giant and doesn't understand why people see him as a “monster.”

It’s a bit hard to pronounce in Equestrian but my name is [really long big and complicated roar]
Because I have heard that word used over and over again referring to me ever since I was brought here. “Capture the Monster”, “Feed the monster”, “Put the monster in his cage”.
Doctor, the knight of time and space. I am honored to be in your presence.
