DNF Duel - English Voice Mod, Round 1
Project Overview
DNF Duel is a recently released fighting game based on Dungeon Fighter Online. Unlike most recent Arc System works fighitng games, this one unfortunately did not launch with an English voice option, so I've decided to start translating the voice work and modding in a dub myself!
This is an unpaid project, as it is a mod for an existing property I don't own.
There are a significant amount of battle lines (between 100 to 140 for some characters) and many that require a lot of yelling and general loudness. These will require you to reference audio files from the game (which I will provide) to understand the general timing you’ll be allowed for recording many of these. Don’t feel you need to stress this too much in your audition lines, however!
Due to this large amount of loud lines, it’s imperative that your recording space is not echo-y and loaded with reverberation. It’ll be incredibly audible in game and make your lines completely unusable. Good audio quality and a good recording space are an absolute must here. No matter how good your audition is, if it sounds like your lines have noticeable echo/reverb in it, I cannot cast you.
All audition lines have reference lines from the Japanese audio! Some are in two parts, so be sure to check both to understand the full quote.
This casting call will be for female characters for whom we did not receive a sufficient amount of auditions for in the initial run of auditions we cast for.
