"DIGITOMO!" is an original, semi-animated series inspired by cartoons from the 2000's. In 2009, technology has advanced farther than humanity has expected; the bridge between the digital world and ours had been placed, and humankind has been able to interact with tech in more immersive ways than ever before.
Atlas Amspoker finds himself struggling to balance maintaining his work-life schedule, confronting his past, and dealing with the shenanigans of various personified computer programs and viruses- alongside Marron, a digital assistant who traverses in and out of his computer.
"DIGITOMO!" is very much a villain of the week type of series.
This is only the first round of casting, and more voice roles will be sought out later!
We are by NO MEANS professionals. This is entirely a passion project, and we're learning as we go. Keep that in mind when auditioning!
The casting for this project will be 18+, as this series will sometimes discuss suggestive and mature themes. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE YOUR AGE LISTED EITHER IN YOUR AUDITION OR ON YOUR PROFILE, YOU WILL IMMEDIATELY BE DECLINED.

25 years old. This man is not well. Paranoid and jittery, he's the type to believe those "send this to 15 people or you'll DIE" types of emails. He kicks ass on the bass guitar, though, and he means well! He's just, ah. Not all there.

"Um...Lain and I have been working on a new song. Do you wanna hear what we've got so far...?"
"Atlas? There's a customer out front who says that he's going to start breaking stuff if he can't speak to a manager..."
25 years old. Lucy works at The Honey Pot, a bakery and cafe owned and managed by her family. Because The Honey Pot is so close to the store Atlas works at, she often brings them leftover goods to get them through their overnight shifts. Lucy is soft and sensitive at heart, often making a fuss over cute things. There's nothing more important to her than treating others gently and taking care of her family.

10 years old. Lou adores nobody in life more than his big sister— even taking her hand me down clothes and hair accessories, and growing out his own hair to look like hers. He tries not to let people's words get him down; his mom, dad, and big sister have his back no matter how he chooses to present himself!
Note: Lou is meant to be an egg, and does transition later in the series! This character is pre-transition in the show, and goes by he/him at this point in life, but I usually refer to her with she/her pronouns outside of the scripts and episodes!

"Lucy says I can't have too much sugar, which I think is silly, 'cause we run a bakery and all!"
Appears to be in his early twenties. A digital assistant who gained sentience, but it seems he's gone rogue. He has both a strong distaste and a strange fascination with the most vile parts of humanity, feeling that if he allows mistreatment, it won't be quite as scary. Fronts as cocky, sarcastic, smug, and playful, but he has a lot of complicated feelings beneath his mask.

25 years old. Has a tendency to zone out— they're never on this planet, so they're often referred to as an alien. They often find themselves crashing at Atlas's place, mostly because their landlord won't do shit about the rats or roaches. They like to spend their time sleeping, gaming, or writing songs and practicing with their band.
It should be noted that Lain is a vocalist for their band, and as such, if you can maybe sing a little something at the end of your audition, it'll definitely add a few bonus points!

27 years old. Laid back but her sense of humor is rather morbid and edgy. When Atlas was 21, he tried dating again with a mutual friend of his— but neither of them were truly ready for a relationship. Between Atlas's inability to open up and express vulnerability and Ashlynn's drinking problems, the two eventually broke it off on mutual terms. Since then, she's sobered up, and remains friends with Atlas...though, she does wish he could open up, just a little.

51 years old. Lain's mother, Atlas's aunt, a widowed wife. Doing her best to make ends meet in the absence of her other half. Because Atlas's mother stopped allowing Atlas to see his father's side of the family, Finley was unaware of the hardships Atlas was facing until he was older. Now, she tries to reach out whenever she can, holding a deep care for both Atlas and Apollo.

26 years old. Atlas's twin brother. Growing up, Apollo was rather sickly, in and out of hospital. His memories of Tracy are different— the mother who stayed by his side through extensive treatments. Now that he's grown, he's seen the way she's treated his twin. Right now, there is a rift between the Amspoker twins— though Apollo wants to reach out and mend it.
