James is an award-winning and best-selling author who is a genius in marketing. Not only am I proud to call him a peer, but also an instructor in such a pivotal part in my VO/VA career. In Jesse Carrol's VoiceOver School, James has a section where he talks about the art of branding and not only does it entail a treasure trove of information, it also entails key vital information about going about our careers as a creative moving forward. I owe all my marketing and branding knowledge at this point in my life, to him.

In Jesse Carrol's VoiceOver School, Dave Bisson does weekly/biweekly live sessions with the students enrolled. Dave is not only a seasoned voice over artist, but also one of the most insightful instructors I have ever gotten the chance to experience. I have gone through literally hours of how he does his process, finding your authentic voice, and be a successful voice over artist in general. I want to thank Dave for the time he is willing to spend in VO School because without him I might have never gotten a real chance to explore the concept of authenticity in an industry that ironically tries to be authentic.

Once a month in VoiceOver school, one of the great audio ninja's of the VO/VA industry, Jordan Reynolds, graces us with his expertise and knowledge in terms of mixing. Jordan Reynolds is the iconic voice of Adam Warlock (Marvel Rivals), Achilles (SMITE), Reuben Gil (Fallout 76), and many more. Not only does his vocal range exceed expectation, his proficiency in audio mixing for the industry is valuable to the highest degree.

Jesse is an authentic instructor with literal hundreds of huge milestones under his belt, including working for Nintendo, Walmart, Honda, GoPro, and is the main narrator for The History Channel and Hulu's show, Backroad Truckers. His VoiceOver School gave me the head start I needed to get  my VO/VA career going as it gave me a clear path to take on every step of the way. Not only that, but the community has more than 100 students who are nothing but positive peers who help each other out. VoiceOver School has also given me access to connect with brilliant people within the industry, such as Jordan Reynolds and Dave Bisson. An educational workshop that allowed participants to attempt mock auditions for randomly chosen roles instructed by Phebe Fabacher. This workshop lasted about 2 hours and it was a great experience. I took away that I cannot fill all the roles that I would like to play, such as fatherly figures who are in their 50s or 60s due to my natural voice. I gained more insight on what niche's I fill.

Every month, Joe or a special guest will conduct one live lecture, including 20 minutes for Q&A at the end, that goes deeper into a topic that will solidify the foundation of acting and business skills.
