Greetings everybody!
This Casting Call is based on a project I'm working on for several years. It is called Different Turf - a Splatoon-based fan story which main focus in on an Inkling's very first day in the Octarian army. This approximately 30 minutes long Source Filmmaker animation dive in depths with the following questions (and answers them):
This - and many more about the other team members (Laura, Ashley and Max) will be answered.
Production
There is no point to deny this is my very first, ambitious project. As I said, I expect the animation show will be over 30 minutes long, as well as there would be tens of hours spent on extra layers (making new models for specific scenes, materials for certain characters, sound effect, music, etc.) With all of these combinend, I expect the animation will be done later of 2023.
I do feel ready to make this animation in the work, and if you find all of them interesting, entertaining, or fun to try out - I would welcome you all!

Eleni is the leader of her group of friends (contains Luna, Mei and Vivi) - she is easy to get in confused situations, and gets low when she doesn't know the answer at that moment.
[Shakes her head, sighs with a worried tone] "Honestly? I don't know. Clementine might be insane."
He is walking on the street, busy in his phone - when another Inkling hit him (by accident)
[In an angry tone] "Hey! Watch out!"
A sporty, athletic Inkling girl, who gets annoyed rather quickly.
[Looking up, waving her hands, just to get some sweats off. The tram is hot, and the windows don't help to move enough oxygen] (annoyed tone) "Oh my squid, this is the third time in a row! Why can't they just fix the air condition?!"
He is a small Inkling, waiting in the ailes of a hospital. Presumably to someone in his family.
[In the waiting room, looking at the clock, while talking to the phone] (annoyed by the situation) "Great, the air condition died. Again." (jokingly adding) "At least it isn't as hot as in the sauna! Heh." (back to normal tone) "Yeah, that was a terrible joke."
She is part of her friend group/soldier team (which includes Eleni, Mei and Vivi) as well as part of the camp's Radio Station as a host. She is an energized, always happy Octoling, who due to her schedule, missed out 'Cynthia's arrival.
{She speaks in the radio - you can hear her excitement, and joy} "Ladies, enjoy the new single from no other, but the almighty..." {Takes a break to build hype} "...Octa-Rise!"
Mei is an aspiring soldier in her small group full of friends (which contains Eleni, Luna and Vivi). She has a hard time, accepting an Inkling can just walk in, being part of the army.
[She looks at Vivi, with a disgusting face. Her voice shows disbelief for 'Cynthia'] "Are they crazy? An Inkling?! Here!"
Giles is a clumsy Agent. He thinks they are doing good service - not realizing their role as an Agent is insignificant. Giles takes everything way too seriously than it needs to be.
[Looks at Vince, with an 'Are you serious?' face] "We are here, to be Agents. To be better than the enemy! Turf War can wait, duty is prioritiy number one!"
[Looks at the complete opposite side, instead where the actual noise come from] "Have you heard it, Giles? We are on the right place! Octolings, run away from us!"
Horton is an Inkling, who finds others people suffering to be perfect candidate to mock. He doesn't have an inside voice, the first thought he has will be - proudly - say it out loud.
*talking harshly to 'Cynthia' after they just arrived to a match* "Finally! Where have you been?" *leaves a small laugh adding the following* "Crying? That's what you do best!"
*Seeing how 'Cynthia' is packing up from the battle, Horton frustratingly asks the following* "Are you running away? We were waiting for a long time only for you - and you just run away?"
Vince is a chill (maybe 'too' chill) Agent, who joined the army for getting potential dates - as well as helping on his friends. He is hiding behind his glasses, to make sure how 'serious' he is, but things never go well for him.
[Grunting over the situation] "Agh, it sucks. Why can't we just play some Turf War?!"
[Looking at Giles, with a relaxing tone] "Calm down, mate. The day is still long. We will kick those Octarian's butt in noooooo time!"
Vivi is the youngest among her friend group (which contains Luna, Eleni and Mei) - and the most innocent among them. She is the only one among the four, who doesn't look down on 'Cynthia'.
[Takes a closer look on 'Cynthia'] "They - they must have a reason..." [her voice is shaking, but curious to see why 'Cynthia' is here] "R-right Luna?"
