This is a dub for a cute little comic strip I wrote and illustrated a few months back. Diddy Kong and Dixie Kong might be my favorite gaming couple because they're one of the few fictional couples I'm aware of that work as a team. This comic expresses just how I see them. They care deeply for each other and they'll always have each others' backs, and they could also kick some serious Kremling butt together.
I've always imagined Diddy as kind of an awkward kid entering his teens who fights for the ones he loves and has his heroic moments. I will allow male actors for a post-voice drop voice or female actresses for a younger sounding Diddy.

Dixie is a sporadic young chimp with a lust for life and spring in her step. She can be a bit sensitive, but nothing will stop her from protecting the ones she loves.
