Akuma is a girl who suffers from depression. One day, as she's driving someone, crashes into her car and kills her. She wakes up to find herself face-to-face with the devil. He offers a proposition. He will revive her but she will be granted the powers of a god. She agrees to the deal with no hesitation but will later realize this was more of a curse than a blessing.

Akuma is the main character. She is still in college. Her life is really sad and she suffers from depression. One day on her way to the store, she dies in a car crash. She is then greeted by the devil, the devil explains to her everything that just happened and offers to give her, her life back, under one condition. He will give her powers so powerful that they can be compared to a god's power. Akuma agrees with no hesitation not knowing what is to come.

[You are talking to your friend] (Tired) Life isn't easy anymore. Sometimes, it just feels like my life is pointless. I don't know where to go from here.
[You are speaking to the devil] (Scared) What do you want? I'll give you anything!
[As you were going along with your day, something randomly attacks you] (Shocked) What the fuck?! Who was that?!
You are Akuma's best friend. You are really caring and intelligent. You prioritize others' well-being over yours. You are an important side character. You help Akuma in many ways whether it is mentally or physically.

[You are speaking to Akuma] (Caring) Listen, I'm always here for you, you know that. Whatever you need to tell me, I'm always here for.
[An enemy has you hostage and Akuma stands across from them] (Struggling) Akuma! (Choking) Don't give them whatever they want! I'm fine!
[A monster appears in your apartment] (Scared and crying) What the hell. Why does this have to happen to me?
Later in the story, you become Akuma's love interest. You help her get over her depression but are constantly being hunted by her enemies without knowing.
[You meet Akuma for the first time] (Startled) Oh crap, I'm so sorry. I wasn't watching where I was going.
[You wake up to find Akuma passed out on your shoulder] (In your head) Holy shit! Akuma is passed out on me! Calm down Kai, get it under control. You got this.
[Something has gotten into your apartment while Akuma was with you] (Serious) Akuma, get back. I think someone broke in.
You are good friends with Soga but always had some issues getting along with Akuma. You are funny and energetic.
[Akuma is sleeping at the table as you and Soga continue speaking] (Laughing) Soga! You are just too much!
[A shadow monster is chasing your car] (Scared) Akuma! Is that thing after you?!
[A shadow monster has found you and Akuma] Akuma, run! I'll buy us some time. We'll meet back up somewhere. Go!
Kaito is later introduced. He is a comedic relief character. He becomes friends with Akuma and starts dating Soga. He later dies in a fight. This encourages Akuma to tap into a form not even she knew existed. She uses this power to defeat her enemy easily.
[You meet Soga for the first time] (Flirty) Wow! Who might this lovely lady be?
[You are walking with Akuma] (Jokingly) Who knew Soga was such a good kisser?! Haha!
[You are bleeding out] (Whatever you think fits the tone) Wow, who would think I would die like this? In battle with my best friends in the world. *cough, cough* I don't think I would change anything if I had the chance. *cough* Soga, I love you. *cough* Akuma, kick... his... ass...
You are a friend of Soga. You are extremely shy but are naturally gifted with the ability to fight even though you don't have powers. You die later in the story after you lead away a horde of monsters to save Soga. Your death influences a lot of events later in the story.
[You go home after a horrible day] (Crying) Why?! What did I do?! Why does all this happen to me?!
[You have just murdered a Shadow Monster] (Suprised) Oh my god. I just did that.
[You are telling Soga to leave you behind] (Serious) Soga, listen. You need to go. We can't outrun those monsters. Akuma is the only person we know that can stop this mess. I will fight off as much as I can. You need to run and tell Akuma. Let this happen Soga. Go!
You are the devil. You are very sly and mischievous. You trick Akuma into taking the powers of a god so that you could put her in danger back on Earth.

[Akuma has appeared across from you] (Nonchalant) Well, well. Akuma! Welcome! I've been meaning to see you. Please, take a seat, we have much to discuss.
[Akuma is furious] (Nonchalant) Please, relax. I never said this was going to be a good thing. I just wanted to give you another chance, that's all.
[Akuma has confronted you] (Nonchalant) Alright Akuma, I admit, I did mean to put you into some danger. It' all part of the game though, there is no point in me just reviving someone without any consequences.
These creatures are extremely fast and powerful. These monsters are hunting down Akuma so they can steal her power.
[You broke into Akuma's apartment looking for her] I SEE YOU AKUMA! RAHAHAHAHA! YOUR POWERS ARE MINE!
[Akuma has just knocked you to the ground] HAHAHA! YOU WISH IT WAS SO EASY TO KILL US! WE WON'T STOP AKUMA, YOUR LIFE WILL BE RUINED! TAKE MY WORD!
