Deadlock: The Final Escape
Project Overview
Deadlock is a series that takes a lot of inspiration from the Zero Escape series. Think of this as my own spin on a lot of Zero Escape, while not entirely being the same, it has a lot of the same concepts.
16 adults are taken from their usual lives and are thrust into a game that could decide the fate of the world. In this game of life and death, will they make the right decisions? Or the dreadfully wrong ones.

William has a voice that sounds as if someone drank glue. It is very nerdy, yet cheerful as well. It is a type of cheerfulness that almost comes off as terrifying in the end. He is 32 and is convinced that he is a Jedi.
“Very low chance of us surviving till the end.”
“I’ll use the force and pry this door open!”
“This is unforgivable!”
Jay has a tiny bit of a raspy voice, this is from him smoking and shouting a lot. Very vulgar and perverted and will often come off as a bit of an ass after everything he says. Jay is 26 and a pizza delivery guy that lives off of an eight an hour wage.
"We're making this shit seem easy!"
"Don't be such an ass."
"The entire world rests on us.."
Jessica's voice sounds like a very feminine sounding male, it has a bit of a cold tone to it, as well as a very monotone base to it that makes her sound bored more often than not. Jessica is a very gothic type of person. She likes black. grunge rock, makeup, etc.
“Trapped in here with a bunch of strangers and told my life is in the balance of a snail isn’t the greatest.”
“Are you crazy?! I can’t defuse a bomb!”
“T-This can’t be happening…”
Aiden has a masculine female type of voice. It is very high pitched and will often have a few voice cracks whenever he speaks. He has a tone that is very in your face about his points and won't give up easily.
“Just because I’m a logical thinker, doesn’t mean I don’t have feelings!”
“No, you CANNOT throw me overboard!”
“Oh, my stars! Watch your mouth!”
Allison has a very innocent voice, one you could describe as even melodic. She is one of the four protagonists in the series.
“It’s nothing a hug can’t fix!”
“Guys, we don’t need to fight!”
“T-T-This is horrible…”
James sounds like a major stoner, legit he sounds high 90% of the time. He has a very calm tone and is often never taken away from his chill demeanor.
“Damn doorway…!”
“What are you even going on about?!”
“Is that a fucking disco ball?!”
Although he may sound harsh at first, Mason has a very kind heart. He sounds gruff and a bit like he is trying to hide his nervousness and fear from the rest of the group.
"Maybe Neo is telling the truth, maybe Abby is, what’s the fucking difference?”
“This would go a lot quicker if you weren’t all brain-dead.”
“Let’s throw the android off this damn boat!”
Naomi sounds like a valley girl. Exaggerating every syllable, but sounding very giddy.
“I like games and all too, but this is a bit of a sadistic one.”
“Fuck that shit!”
“All in favor of not going into the abandoned tunnel of death a demise?”
Has a squeaky-ish voice that cracks a ton. He always sounds very nervous, panicked, or even a bit excited at times when he really doesn't mean to sound that way.
“We’re in deep..”
“You want us to kill?! That’s crazy!”
“Oh great, a small spaced elevator! Just the place I want to die in.”
Gracie is a very small girl with a very high pitched voice. She often tries to sound intimidating or scary, but it always just comes off as failures and will usually result in her sounding cuter than she already did.
“That made you interested…? You’re a weird kid.”
“It’s a soda machine, not a supercomputer…”
“A trap? You aren’t making any sense.”
Adam sounds kind of raspy with a medium pitch, he often sounds sarcastic or like he could possibly laugh at most sentences.
“Looks dangerous… you, go first.”
“I’m just as confused as you are!”
“Do you have any idea how crazy that sounds?!”
Becky sounds a lot like Velma from Scooby-Doo just a bit more congested. She sounds a bit more excited whenever she is making a pun about the current situation.
“She’s gone hysterical, let’s leave her.”
“A vote on who we leave behind? I don’t mind that idea.”
“That was a DEPTH-defying act… Get it?”
RImmone sounds like a very flamboyant gay guy. His voice is super loud and sorta high, but not too high.
“You’re all lucky most of your lives don’t depend on your looks.”
“Show me the money, honey!”
“I think I read a book like this before!”
Krystal is very sophisticated sounding, every statement she makes is very fancy sounding and official. She does have the tendency to get excited over nothing due to her sheltered life, a lot of things seem new to her.
“Go, team! ...If that’s what you’d say in this situation.”
“He can be annoying, but we can’t throw him overboard!”
“This is actually tearing us all apart!”
Zack sounds like your average twenty-four-year-old, although he will usually sound a bit unsure of himself or perhaps a bit shy sounding, this is mainly due to the fact that he doesn't believe in himself very much.
“Can’t we just take a vote?!”
“I’m not very good under pressure…”
"We need to be VERY careful..."
Dante has a very deep masculine voice, although it is deep, it is also friendly and inviting, almost like a really cool older brother's voice.
“Anime girls don't count, dude."
“Robots can’t drown, I don’t know what the big idea is.”
“The absolute madman!”
Paulus sounds like a very fancy old timer from back in the days, he is very wise and is the game master of Deadlock.
"This is a game, a game about choices."
"Let me tell you all a little story."
"The choice is completely yours."
Karla has a very gloomy and melancholic voice, almost like it is devoid of all life, yet it is also very sorrowful. This is the voice of a character that knows of past mistakes but can never fix them.
"I cannot stress how important this game is..."
"If this fails; I might just die."
"They don't know about the field yet, do they?"
