DEADLINE: November 25th. It may possibly be extended, depending on when I finish 1-2 of my other projects. If there is a change in the deadline, I will make sure to update you all of this change.
Is it very important that you read through all of the rules and guidelines to understand what you may be signing up for! Please and thank you!
Important Information/Rules/Auditioning Guidelines:
1. FAQ: Kindly read FAQ before messaging me!
2. Keep in mind this is a LONG TERM project. Do not audition if you will not be committed/dedicated and will "ghost" me or leave the cast as soon as you are casted. If you need to leave because of personal circumstances, I DO understand. Sometimes things just happen; all I'm asking is do not do this intentionally, and if you need to leave, give me a heads up so I can prepare ahead of time to recast your character(s).
3. You will need to be comfortable with swearing/cussing, or even saying insulting words such as but not limited to: "bastard, hell, damn, b*tch, etc."
4. Decent, clear audio quality is a MUST. Please no muffled audio as we need to be able to hear you. Echoes and white noise may possibly be okay, as long as it's not too noticeable. Auditions that do not fulfill this requirement will be dismissed. If that is the case, you're more than welcomed to resubmit once the audio has improved.
5. You will NEED a discord account. There are no exceptions. Please understand that I will NOT be doing live direction/voice calls over discord due to personal circumstances and scheduling conflictions.
6. All auditions submitted must be professional. (Examples, but are not limited to: outtatakes/messing up mid-line, music in your file, trolls, etc.) Auditions that do not meet this requirement will be dismissed. Small line mess ups (such as you accidentally reading the wrong word instead of what is written) are fine, just as long as its not during the entire audition.
7. I can't force you, but having 2-3 takes per line in an AAABBBCCC format (000111222) would be VERY helpful as it will help the casting team and I especially if we need to call you in for a callback. More takes allow us to get a better feel the voice, as well as helps us look for any inconsistencies in order to better direct you in a callback. Not submitting multiple takes DOES NOT mean your audition is rejected or not considered.
8. Including some way to contact you outside of CCC will be helpful in case you are not responsive here. Including your discord is also greatly appreciated. Having your discord ahead of time helps us confirm you are supposed to be on the server and lets us know who you are. If I cannot get ahold of you after a couple of weeks I will be recasting your character.
9. Auditioning and being casted means that you understand that you must be on top of your work. Strikes will be granted automatically for missing or late work, but to prevent this an extension may always be granted as long as you ask. If you "ghost" me or reach all of your strikes, I have the right to remove you from the project.
10. [If casted] Please be easy or at least professional to work with. I try to ask for retakes sparingly, but if you are doing to be disrespectful/rude towards me when I am trying to be polite with you then please do not audition.
11. Lastly, there is a mandatory interview for every VA called Meet the Cast. If you will not be comfortable with this, please do not audition. It's just a bit of an introduction about you as a person because there is more to you than your voice. The interview is scripted, so if you don't feel too comfortable talking about yourself, there ARE other discussion topics you may use. Link to the Meet the Cast series.. The Meet the Cast will only be optional for behind the scenes crew, such as artists, editors, etc. if they are not comfortable. But it will be mandatory for the voice cast.
Just as a heads-up: casted members, I will be using your auditions as a "voice reveal" to announce the actors of each character. This series may be viewed here.
Callbacks:
- A callback means that the casting team or I enjoyed your audition, but would like to hear something different from you. Example of this could be a change of pitch, different line delivery, etc. Callbacks are very important as it will help the casting team and I determine who to cast. Not submitting a callback after a certain amount of time tells us you are no longer interested in the role, and therefore we may go with someone else. If you need an extension, I have no issues granting one as long as I am told beforehand.
- A callback may also be me contacting you because I think your voice may fit what I am looking for for another character.
