WHAT IT’S ABOUT: In the year 20XX, hover-racing is one of the premier sports in the world. Chrissy Scarlett, an underground street racer, suddenly joins the professional racing scene as apart of the Crimson Chasers. Join her as she learns how to navigate a whole new world of racing and teamwork!
CASTING CALL: We are looking for voice actors, actors, and a music composer, of any skill level. This is a passion project funded completely out of our own pockets. It is a one-time project, but we may contact you again in the future.
WHO WE ARE: I am Linkocomic, an artist and animator and the creator of Crimson Chasers. I’m working with my co-writer @randomwizkid who will be editing the dub. We hope you will come along with us to bring the project to life!

Christina “Chrissy” Scarlett is a rambunctious and witty street racer. She is often sarcastic but has a genuine enthusiasm for racing. A little emotionally detached, they will take some time warming up to other people. She is the protagonist of Crimson Chasers. POC preferred.
Voice style: They have a dry, informal way of speaking. Medium to low range. You can use whatever accent you want or your natural speaking voice.

Troy Garza is an obnoxious, slightly insecure street racer and describes himself as Chrissy’s toughest rival; a feeling not reciprocated by her. He is a reoccurring character in the series.
Voice style: His voice should be a little nasally, fitting his snide personality. Medium to high range. Accents can range from Italian-American to New Jersey, or anything else you think might fit.

(confident/unconfident) So what I didn't pass the “entrance exam”, Troy Garza makes his own rules. And he doesn’t- (stuttering, correcting himself) I don’t listen to anyone else!
Kane Collision is the reluctant leader of the Crimson Chasers, taking after his father. He puts up a front of confidence and leadership but inside, he’s unsure if he can live up to the family legacy. He informally interprets American Sign Language for Sandra. Knowledge of ASL not required but if so, we encourage you to audition for the signing role below this one as well. POC preferred.
Voice style: Down to earth and earnest, with a hint of angst. Medium to low range. You can use whatever accent you want or your natural speaking voice.

(somber confession) *sigh* It was last year. The entire team collapsed. I had no choice but to kick him out.
Looking for an ASL actor to sign Kane Collision’s signed dialogue. You will be recording yourself signing roughly in front of a green screen, roughly 1 minute in length. It will be displayed in corner of screen.
Background: Kane learned ASL after meeting Sandra, and studied the language for 3 years.
Sign style: Intermediate signing, with some emphasis on English-based signs and fingerspelling.
(explaining) [That person] mentioned a CAPO train interrupting the race.
(somber confession) It was last year. The entire team collapsed. I had no choice but to kick him out.
(urgent) Nonetheless, we have to find a new team member soon.
Sandra Williams is the very excitable mechanic of the Crimson Chasers. Her passion in building vehicles is only matched by her skill in driving them. She is Deaf and her primary language is American Sign Language. Her lines will be non-diegetic, a translation for the audience but not actually spoken by the character. Grunts, yells, and laughs will be spoken. Being Deaf/HoH and knowing ASL is preferred but not required as it is a voice over role.
Voice style: Mid-to-high range, enthusiastic and bubbly. Accents can be your natural speaking voice or anything else you think might fit.

Looking for an ASL Deaf actor to sign Sandra William’s signed dialogue. You will be recording yourself signing in front of a green screen, roughly 1 minute in length. It will be displayed in the corner of screen.
Background: Sandra grew up in a fully Deaf household, to two Deaf parents. She works as a mechanic, fixing and designing vehicles.
Sign style: She works with her hands and has an attention to fine details.

We are looking for someone who can compose an original soundtrack with a techno futuristic sound. You will be contacted last in the production after all the editing is done to score an appropriate soundtrack roughly 5-8 minutes in length.
