Creatures Of War
Project Overview
Introduction:
We are casting for the main character of Creatures Of War, Mike Ludwig. If we determine that your voice is a good fit for smaller lines in the project, we may request additional line work from you. If you're not cast for a main role, and your voice matches another character in the game, we may ask you to provide lines for supporting roles in the production.
All roles are in English. You must be comfortable using swear words if the lines call for it.
All payments are made through either PayPal or Zelle.
Voice actors will be credited by being listed in the games credit roll once the game has been completed.
Video Game Overview:
Across the islands luscious landscape lies an expansive network of abandoned buildings. You have been sent in to investigate the island as well as the disappearance of Delta squad. As the fierce combat operative Mike Ludwig, it is up to you to uncover the tragic events that took place and to conquer its evils.
Creatures Of War is a challenging 2D action-horror game. Monstrosities big and small are going to want a piece of you. Upgrade your guns, healing flask, and equip your grenades, its times to find Delta squad.
- Intense action accompanied by the chilling threat of a brutal death lurking around every corner.
- Gain access to the latest generation of grenades, tactically control the flow of battle, giving you the upper hand.
- Collect treasures and money to fund weapon upgrades that will tear down even the biggest enemies.
Deadlines and Auditions:
The deadline for auditions is September 15th. If I find the right voice sooner than that I will remove the posting soon after. I will however listen to all of the submitted auditions. As stated above, if I find a voice that can fit somewhere else in the game, I will reach out to you.
What To Expect:
I will email you directly letting you know that you have been selected for the roll of Mike Ludwig. Afterwards you will start voice recording all of the presented lines that I email to you along with the SFX work needed. The estimate of 3 hours of work needed for the roll is an educated guess but if you exceed this amount of time, or think you will, please reach out to me. Upon completion of the line work, you will submit the audio files back to me via email and I will go through the work. If any of the lines needs to be modified or redone, I will let you know.
What I need From You:
- Please use high end mics that do not pick up any background noise, contain any fuzzy sounds, and please make sure the house is quiet when recording.
- Please submit each file as a .wav file to my email address, which will be provided to you after casting.
- We do occasionally ask for line re-dos, but we do this sparingly and only after great consideration - we realize your time is valuable, and we won't ask for anything we can't work around in edits.

Charlie teams tactical expert, he is trained to deliver results in the most extreme circumstances. Proficient with all types of firearms, Mike is very resourceful and if need be is not afraid to run away from a losing conflict. He was assigned this mission for a reason, he can get the job done.

Senior is the engineer of the game who powers on the fast traveling tram and the man who also upgrades your weapons and healing items. He gets rescued from Mike Ludwig in the second level of the game, The Caves.

This is a primary character within the game but he is only heard from in audio logs. In sequels he will likely be an in game character. He has the most lines of any character in the audio logs. He is just outside of what would be considered a secondary character. He is cold, calculated, and results driven. He will do whatever it takes to create the strongest and more powerful dinosaurs.

Ryung Woo is the chief construction officer on Ko'Verest Island. He is in charge of creating and maintaining all of the buildings to house the experiments and the specimens created. He is being controlled via black mail to work harder and longer than he signed up for. He is a pawn.

In my endeavors to meet this absurd goal I have cut a few corners.
The men were given “Night Vision Goggles” to make certain they were sure footed during the transportation of fossilized remains.
In doing so, I was able to skip the setup and rigging of most electrical systems.

These dinosaurs, they can smell, and not like your household dog, they smell you from a mile away.

Heather McConnel is the lead botanist on Ko'Verest island being paid by Constituent Inc. She is running experiments on the local plants. She is to determine if these plants genetic codes can be implemented in a defensive or offensive capacity from a biological standpoint in dinosaurs / insects.

John King is a Doctor who is stationed in the swamp on Ko'Verest Island. He has been treating victims of the latest batch of bulletwolf ants. Apparently the bulletwolf ant nest has grown out of control and the people who are trying to keep the swamp under control are being hurt or even worse killed. He is issuing a dire warning in this video of the threat they pose and the dire situation him and all the others are currently in.

Personal Log: John King, Swamp Medical Unit. It has been two weeks since they introduced the “Bulletwolf Ants” to the swamp.
There have been over thirty deaths and we have administered over a dozen patients suffering from stings, bites, and eviscerations.
The Bulletwolf Ant colony was getting out of control and they knew it.
Alexa Smith is in the creature and handling division. She is a hard working, practical, and safe. She is at odds with the Chief Construction Officer Ryung Woo he is the opposite of her, in her opinion. He is lazy, stupid, and outright negligent in his duties. She is a bit angry in her audio logs because she is venting about her situation with Ryung.

He skipped so many precautionary steps that the entire cave infrastructure is now at risk.
Allegedly someone from another complex spoke against Ryung and they went missing a few days later.
The combat captain is in charge of testing the dinosaurs and creatures fighting capabilities. He issues combat tests to be conducted against his squadron and determines how well each side fought one another. He is tough and holds people accountable.

Dr. Yu Wu is a geneticist who thinks that creating creatures of mass destruction does not necessarily mean that they need to be large creatures. In fact he believes quite the opposite. He is infatuated with insects and believes that there reproduction rates allow them to be far more effective in overwhelming an area. When combining the genetics of insects with the accessed dinosaur DNA he has created dinosaur hybrids that can multiply quickly but also have increased in size drastically to become potent threats.

The success rate of kills was relatively low amongst some of the larger predators, approximately 20%.
What was of utmost importance to us was the markedly improved success rate of kills and the frequency of attacks when these dinosaurs were pregnant.
The increased energy demands of these female dinosaurs had both the male and female members of their patriarchal society hunting with more aggression and frequency.
Warren Fischer is the Chief Operating Officer of Constituent Inc. Warren is a careful man. He is known for measuring three times and cutting once. He is suspicious of Nicolaus Hawkings ambitions.

Larry Biteman is the CEO of constituent Inc. He wants to slowly take over the world via his genetic creations, the Creatures Of War. He is patient though. He will give the doctors the time that is required to prove the potency of these creatures before making his first move. What he is unaware of however, is that spy's are already on the island investigating his creations.

Derek is a double agent working for Constituent Inc. He is the one responsible for sabotaging the helicopter and grounding Delta squad. His primary job is to destroy Delta and Charlie team. That way all possible embryo's and specimens from the latest research can be removed from the island and brought to another undisclosed location. Derek also happens to be the commanding officer of Delta squad and will give commands to Mike Ludwig to investigate areas that are overtly dangerous. Mike Ludwig is the main character of the game and does not know he is being double crossed.

The government official is the commander of the operation who is directing Mike Ludwig (The main Character). He is in touch with Mike in the middle of the game when he receives a call from Mike updating him about the condition on the island, after the lab is discovered. He directs Mike to keep searching for the missing members of Delta Squad while he heads back to a secure point to be evacuated.

She finds ways to act aggressively in a combat situation even when the odds are stacked against them. She is a tough yet beautiful red head with a chip on her shoulder.

Ramon is the close combat expert on Delta Squad. He is usually a formidable tough guy but he barely survives after killing an Allosaurus. He is on the verge of death and has some juicy news for you before his passing.

Drey is delta squads demolition expert. He excels in blowing up anything in his path. He is seperated from his team and needs help urgently. He needs to be strongly voiced as this may be the main character in the sequel.

Apollo is the Sniper for Delta Squad. He is shot by Derek Nowak after finding out that he is a double agent. He runs away from Derek but meets his demise to dinosaurs / creatures in the end. This voice acting role is to read aloud Apollo's journal which notes the incident that took place earlier in the game.

Weird how we suddenly have all of these odds stacked against us. My guess is that someone in Delta Squad is sabotaging this operation. But, I can’t put a finger on who yet
