π Casting Call: Columns SMP - Explore, Survive, and Unravel the Mystery! π
Hello readers! We're thrilled to invite 5 creative souls to join our upcoming Columns SMP project, an exhilarating improv experience inspired by the gripping narratives of 'Divergent' and 'The Hunger Games.'
π Setting:
This is set in a world where the capitol, controls almost everything and every part of life imaginable. The world is artificial as can be. A small array of jobs and skills to be had. The games being the only source of entertainment.
π Casting Requirements:
We are seeking at least 5 to 6 enthusiastic players who are passionate about Minecraft improv, storytelling, and collaborative gameplay. Of course the number can go higher if more people with sufficient acting experience end up auditioning. No prior experience in 'Divergent' or 'The Hunger Games' lore is necessary; your creativity and adaptability are the key attributes we're looking for! You don't have to have much improv experience, as long as you are ready to jump in and be in the settings! You should make sure to add your discord user in your audition description, as you'll most likely receive a message from someone named 'Freaks', the creator of the Columns SMP, regarding of your application for the series.
π How to Apply:
If you're ready to embrace the challenges, unravel the mysteries, and embark on an unforgettable adventure, submit your application before February 10th. Include your discord information, a brief introduction, and why you believe you'd be the perfect addition to Columns SMP.

Since there aren't specific characters for you to audition for, we are asking that you audition to be an actor for this series by sending previous auditions under this single role. If you have a VA portfolio and / or any pervious acting experience from projects you've been in, we highly recommend sending those in as your audition. If you can't provide either of those things, Β you can then simply provide a demo reel or something you recorded on the point. Although improv experience doesn't need to be provided (as we have events scheduled to help people who are new to improv) we want people who aren't going to be embarrassed when getting into character, and are fully willing to be somewhat immersed in their character, so then every character can have a chance to stand out and drive the plot forward. Again, your character doesn't need to be complex, but at least give a reason for why they're present in the story.

#1 You can send a VA portfolio alongside one or more acting roles you've been in before. If you only have one of these things, you can provide have you have.
#2 You can provide a demo reel with a range of performances.
#3 You can send something you recorded on the spot if you cannot provide the first two options. If there's anything you'd yourself like to add, then please feel free to do so!
Again, auditioning to become a builder is extremely similar to auditioning as a Voice Actor. Since there aren't specific things we want you to build for this audition, we just ask that you send in previous auditions under this single role. If you have a art portfolio and / or any pervious building experience from projects you've been in, we highly recommend sending those in as your audition. If you cannot provide any of those two things, then simply provide us something you've recently builded in Minecraft. With this in mind, the more you send and if you can build in a variety of genres when regarding to architecture, the more likely you'll be accepted into the Columns SMP. Make sure that you have Curseforge or Prismlauncher (depending on your computer) to be able to properly work with mods in the server, alongside installing Java and of course Minecraft itself.
