Chainsaw Man: Part 2【 Manga Fandub 】
Project Overview
Welcome to THE GRAVE☆YARD.
We are a dubbing group that is looking to continue the spooky spirit with a fun, exciting fandub of the newer Chainsaw Man volume releases!
Audition Requirements:
- Have a microphone with little to no background noise, popping, so on.
- Be able to raise your voice and convey directed emotions correctly. No microphone clipping.
- Be able to meet deadlines accordingly.
- Reference the voice examples attached to each role.
- Include your Discord so that the director can reach out to you for an invite to our private project server.
- 18+ only due to the topics found within the manga.

Asa is a quiet and unsociable girl. She dislikes her classmates, frequently wishing they would drop dead and spurning any offers of friendship. She has a very negative outlook on the world, other humans, and Devils, and tends to assume the worst of others. She is however very fond of cats and would rather kill a human than a cat.

(Annoyed, stand-offish) This city's corrupt. Most of the buildings are illegaly constructed... we have a mayor with a DUI... a devil called "chainsaw man" playing devil hunter? And now we're keeping that chicken devil as a pet in our own classroom...
(Outraged; Confused) Excuse me?! I...! I didn't kill anyone! You killed them...!!
(Panicking; To herself) Yuko -- How do... H-How do you think she'll get rid of my bullying problem tomorrow...?!
Yoru is first shown to be very confident and prideful, treating her opponents as mere warm-ups and confidently vowing to take back nuclear weapons from Chainsaw Man. This might be a sign of her over-confidence as she lost to him previously while at full strength and is significantly weaker now. However she is aware of her limitations and will back down from a fight if she believes the odds are against her.

(Powerful; Announcing) My name is WAR DEVIL! Die for my warm-up kill!
On the surface, Yuko seems to be kind, warmhearted, and sociable. She quickly becomes friends with Asa Mitaka after partnering with her in the Devil Hunter Club, noticing her distress at being shunned by classmates due to Bucky's death. She's very altruistic and friendly, being willing to give out her shoes to Asa so that she wouldn't have to walk home shoeless soon after meeting her, and got upset when Asa gave the shoes back.
NOTE: She's active during the Justice Devil arc, but isn't around for the next two.The auditioner has the option to join the EXTRAS role to keep participating in the fandub!

(Happy; Greeting) Nice to meetcha, partners!~
(Slow realization) Huh... oh! We never introduced ourselves! I'm Yuko! I'm super into chainsaw man lately!
(Excited) Hey, do you wanna go into town to look for devils after school today?! There'll be way more devils out in town! Guaranteed!!
Yoshida is quite playful and mischievous and loves to have small talk with his opponents during battle. Although Yoshida always has a smile on his face, he is also ruthless. This side of him is demonstrated when he mercilessly kills the Joey of the three Immortal Brothers in a back alley after showing up behind the surviving brother.
NOTE: Since he doesn't show up for quite a few chapters, the auditioner has the option to opt in to the EXTRAS role to show off your voice!

(Slightly concerned; Moreso interested) Hm. You okay there? Want me to walk you to the nurse's office?
(In thought; to Yuko) This is the biggest school in Tokyo. Supposedly, devils sometimes live in the unused classrooms.
Originally, she appeared to be mild-mannered and supportive, such as when she sought out and consoled Asa Mitaka after their class was given Bucky. In reality, she was delusional, presumptuous and narcissistic, believing that Asa was having a sexual relationship with their teacher, Mr. Tanaka, whom she herself had been having a sexual relationship with.
NOTE: Please be able to switch up your voice from casual and soft to manic as directed! You will also be added to the EXTRAS role for future opportunities to show off your talent!

(Slowly losing it; Quietly to Tanaka) You're always... always, always, ALWAYS... such a goody two-shoes.
(Manic; Hyesterical) I made a contract with the justice devil to find out... how to reach my happy ending with Mr. Tanaka!! I just need you to DIE!!
Mr. Tanaka was a kind man who values life and the well being of his students. He took special care to make sure Asa Mitaka felt included in the class, including asking the class president to befriend her and apologizing to the class on her behalf for the death of Bucky.
NOTE: Since his role is rather small (showing up during a single chapter), auditioning for this will also apply you to the EXTRAS role. That way you have more opportunities to show off your voice!

(Terrified; after watching Mitaka stand back up after being killed) Gh-?! M-Mitaka...?!

(Announcing; Rallying the students, Trying to get them excited) First year students, thanks for coming! This club only accepts those strong enough to fight devils! You will patrol the city for devils in groups of three! You have one week to bring back a dead devil! Do that, and you're in!
[TV Interviewer] (Concerned) Folks... do you know the leading cause of death for Japanese people? About 20 people have currently stopped to listen to me, and out of those 20, only five will get to die of old age. Out of the rest... five will die of illness. One will die in a traffic accident, one will die from homicide, and one more will commit suicide. The remaining seven... will all be killed by devils!!
