ABOUT THE PROJECT
The story is told in both an animated series and a 2d RPG styled game, where you can walk around and interact with people and objects in segments, but doing so triggers an animated cutscene, where you can choose dialog options and make choices. It is voice acted. The project’s demo/chapter 1 is expected to take around or over 4 years to make. All roles are 18+ due to liabilities with working with minors.
STORY:
Story takes place in a world called Eterna, broken apart into five continents that the characters travel across. In this world, the villain has won. The “Cataclysm” that caused destruction across the land, magic to go haywire, and has caused chaos all over the world.
It is all the fault of the villain, Mara, who you play as. You start off with two other characters, Camille, the captain of the Royal Guard, and a mercenary named Zack, knight-in-training. The two best friends volunteered to go capture the villain and restore peace in the world. However, this does NOT go as planned. Mara defeats both of them easily. Before delivering the final blow to Camille, her power backfires, and she’s knocked out. Mara wakes on a beach on a strange island. All she remembers is her name, nothing else. Thus begins a journey. The group must find people to help Mara restore her memories, while struggling with the moral dilemma of, “if she doesn’t remember the evil she caused, is she still guilty and worthy of going to jail to be executed?” Later on, the group meets an old potion maker, a lone wolf thief, and more who wish to help them. The group struggles, bonds, and travels together, but is it all for naught?
ABOUT US:
We are an indie video game studio recently started with a team of 6 animators, and 3 writers, and an editor. Our team is small, but we hope to expand after the demo/pilot's release with a Kickstarter to fund the larger project. If unsuccessful, the project will simply just take longer to make. We intend on finishing it regardless. If you have any questions about us or our project contact me via email [redacted] or on discord (@audwee.)
