As a boy, Bruce Wayne's parents were murdered by Joe Chill, who attempted to steal his mother's pearl necklace. Since that fateful day in Crime Alley, Bruce from then on decided to avenge his parent's deaths by fighting crime and injustice that plagues Gotham City. Batman is contacted by a scientist who works at Powers Laboratories, who tells the Dark Knight about a break-in there. She describes a battle between the Foot Clan and the Turtles which resulted in the theft of an experimental generator. Batman vows to find the stolen tech.
(To Alfred In The Bat-Cave) "Over Here. I've Gone Over The Injuries To All The Survivors Of The Last 4 Attacks. The Bruising Is Consistent With General Forms Of Ninjutsu."
(To The Foot Ninjas) "You Know, I'm Curious What Would A Clan Of Ninjas Want With An Experimental Signal Amplifier?"
(In A Threatening Tone) "I Want Answers. So Who's Ready To Talk?"
Raph Speak In a Tough New York Brooklyn Accent!
Unlike his brothers, a great deal of Raphael's personality was shaped by his early life on the streets. He tends to speak in a rougher manner, wishes to intervene if he sees an unjust fight, does not hesitate to use his fists, and experiences feelings of loneliness that his brothers do not feel.
He also has a very volatile temper, which he inherited from his father. Raphael tends to act impulsively and violently because of this, unless checked by his father or one of his brothers, and often fights verbally or physically to cope with feelings of guilt or insecurity.
(To Mikey In a Annoyed Tone) "You Can't Reach It. "Sigh" Mikey..........There! Now Come On, We Don't Want To Be Seen."
"Well That's Just GREAT, Isn't It? Now We Need To Find A New Hideout!"
(After Leo Told Him To Calm Down) "Why!? We Still Have No Idea How To Get Back Home. And Who KNOWS What Could Have Happened To April Or Casey By Now!?"
Alfred was the loyal butler to the Wayne family. After the Waynes' tragic demise at the hands of an armed mugger, Alfred continued to raise young Bruce.
Alfred was present when Batman began searching for four young "turtle-men" who had made their way to Gotham from another dimension. He expressed concern that Bruce was throwing himself into another strange project because of the forthcoming anniversary of his parents' deaths, but Bruce dismissed the idea.
'Master Bruce? I'm Afraid I've Misplaced You Somehow."
"The League Of Assassins, Perhaps? Isn't That Rather The Point Of Being A Ninja?
"Well, We Wouldn't Know Anything About That, Now, Would We? It's Hardly An Argument Sir, Just Merely An Observation."
Splinter is a mutant rat who is the sensei and father of the Ninja Turtles. His background seems to be similar to that of the IDW series' Splinter, being a former rat who is also referred to as "Hamato Yoshi."
Along with his four sons and his nemesis Shredder, he was thrown into a different dimension by the alien warlord Krang. Once there, Splinter and his sons took refuge in the sewers, until they clashed with (Bruce Wayne (Prime Earth)|Batman). Splinter kept the superhero at bay until his sons could retreat, then made his own escape. However, he followed Batman to a laboratory, discovering the effect that this dimension was having on the mutants, reverting them back to base animals.
"You've Done Well, Children."
"But Raphael Is Right..........This Place Is Not Safe For Us Anymore."
The Foot Clan is a powerful ninja clan in the Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic miniseries and its sequel Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II. They normally reside in the New York of the Ninja Turtles' reality, and wield a great deal of power over the underworld there. The Shredder is their clan leader and master, and ninja who follow him give up individual names and identities when they become part of the Foot.
When Shredder was transported by Krang to a different dimension, a large number of Foot ninja were transported with him. They assisted their master in amassing power in Gotham City, kidnapping Dr. Naveen Khan and stealing equipment that would allow Shredder to travel between their two worlds. However, their plans were disrupted by the arrival of Batman and the Ninja Turtles, and many of the Foot ninja were beaten and taken captive by the police. They were then sent to Arkham Asylum, where they remained until Shredder was defeated by his enemies, at which time they were sent back through a dimensional gateway.
(In A Scared Tone When Batman Interrogating Him) "We Are The Foot Clan. We Are Trying To Get Home.
"Meta.....? The Turtles? They're Not...UGCK!" (Died by a Shuriken In The Neck)
