Audio Book - Narrator & Artist
Project Overview
I am looking to trial someone to narrate up to three short stories, of up to 15,000 words or less and another to illustrate the cover art. The author is looking for a long-term partner to narrate multiple books, the average age rating is between PG-13 to M-15, there are no sex scenes or vulgar language.
The offer for the first three short-stories is $50 USD each, and $50 USD per cover illustration, if the author chooses to proceed they will commission another three books at $100 ~ $300 USD PFH, and $150 ~ $300 USD per cover illustration, and continue until they either run-out of books or the venture is no longer feasible.
The author is reclusive and wishes to remain anonymous at this time, the successful candidates will receive more information such as who the author is, titles and submission schedules during brief interview.

Thank you to everyone who has auditioned, after reviewing some of the auditions we've realized that this is going to be an extremally difficult decision, there is just so much texture & natural talent. 24 hours from now the casting call will be over and unlisted, auditions after this time will not be considered. 48 hours after closing we will compose a short-list and begin interviewing potential candidates over text, this will be done using CCC and or Discord. Specific details about workload, due dates and payment will be discussed with the successful candidates. Thank you all & good luck.
Here are the opening lines of The Hobbit & Harry Potter, please narrate one of them.
"In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a hobbit-hole, and that means comfort."
“Mr and Mrs Dursley, of number four, Privet Drive, were proud to say that they were perfectly normal, thank you very much. They were the last people you’d expect to be involved in anything strange or mysterious, because they just didn’t hold with such nonsense.”
Please, show-off your art.
