What Vera Tan is looking for

I'd love to take part in more original projects of any kind, be it animation, indie games or other series. I'd also love to be a part a few more abridged series for fun, though I'm not opposed to a cheeky abridged here and there.

    Where do I even start?

Vera Tan is an amazing voice actress, who absolutely shines brighter than a majority of other VAs, due to her undying passion to learn as much as she can and apply it to her craft. Whether that be voicework, art, or graphic design (and MANY MORE), you can always expect a minimum level of awesomeness with her. I guarantee she'll make your jaw drop at least five times.

Aside from that, she's also a very loving and caring person, who's incredibly fun to chat with. From personal experience, I can say with confidence that if you have any doubt about your motivation/your project going as far as you want it? Having Vera and her upbeat, funky attitude there will definitely ignite something within your heart. She possesses the uniqueness and creativity that any VA strives to have. Meeting her was the highlight of 2021. For me, and for my project. I can't wait to see where she goes from here!

Listen, people, there's a REASON this recommendation is so long.

Cast her and see for yourself. <3

Vera!!! What a delight she is to have on your project. Not only is she immensely talented, positive, and intelligent, she is also one of the most diligent workers I've ever met. That goes beyond this site and even into my professional theater experiences and other work experiences. Operating on a 17-hour time difference, she put in so many hours for the project to make as good as possible. It was her first time doing ADR work and she knocked it out of the park. Not only that, but I encouraged her to audition for another role and she stepped up and made that role her own. She has remarkable breath control and range thanks to her training. And more than any of that, she is just a really cool person. You'd be lucky to have her on your project and as a friend.

Vera is an amazing voice actress and a true joy to work with! She is not only extremely talented, but also extremely dedicated! She did an outstanding job portraying the controlling mother I required for my film, and I knew it from the first time I heard her audition. She also responded very positively to any feedback I gave her, and I had a great time chatting with her. She is an all-around wonderful person, and I strongly advise you to cast her in your project if you have the opportunity; you will not be disappointed!

A woman so strong and so dedicated in her craft it honestly intimidates me.

Listen, there are people who put in the hours to get to the top. And then you have Vera, who somehow CREATES MORE HOURS on top of all that! For someone in the Australia time zone, she does a really stand-out job keeping up with us over here in the USA whenever we need her.

What can I even start with? First, I think her sweetness draws people to her naturally. And second, her drive for greatness. Somehow she's still punctual with everything she has going on and is still able to do so much of her own things, like a visual novel of her own creation AND all the art and song covers she pumps out. (GORGEOUS stuff btw, I mean you're looking at her pfp rn, aren't you?) I remember all the little things she does behind the scenes. She's created criminally long documents for projects she's managing. She's helped me and several other peers by straight up GIFTING them high-quality audio resources, and is super helpful with helping navigate them. Hell, I remember her going off, compiling multiple professional demo reels and ANALYZING THEM DOWN TO THE ARCHETYPE in hopes of refining and enhancing her own demo reel. It... has to be seen to be believed.

Recently I saw a podcast/interview she was in and... honestly, I was so happy to see her progression to where she was now, getting constant indie credits and work, and being super open about what goes on behind the scenes, and still being the same Vera I knew. I felt like I was watching a princess fully blossom into her queenly destiny. And her VA skills back all her time and work up too! She is SO, SO GOOD AT WHAT SHE DOES!

Really, not having her on your project is a disservice to yourself. Very few, and I mean VERY few people are as dedicated as she is. But why just take my word for it? After all, seeing is believing, right?

  • @carabyte

Vera is a very talented individual and is a joy to work with. She is a great actress and is incredibly well organized, so you can expect lines from her very promptly. Not only that, if your project needs art, she do that to! Can’t recommend her more!

  • @sad-panda-studios

We cast Vera as our vivacious bunny magician character Pepper, a role that
required her to portray a range of big, dramatic emotions in a fun and likable way - and she nailed it! She did a fantastic job bringing sincerity to a very silly and lighthearted script. Her voice and accent are truly lovely and she was wonderful to work with!
