Army Men: RTS REMASTERED
Project Overview
Description:
"Army Men: RTS is a deep and strategic war game without the intimidation factor of other Real-Time Strategies. Army Men: RTS features an intuitive interface and easy-to-learn controls. This is not another plastic soldier game; Army Men: RTS forces players to think about how to strategically build and manage troops, vehicles and buildings while involved in a full out war! Players collect resources and build bases before the Tans can retaliate. The fun is fast and furious in this in-depth, pick-up-n-play RTS experience. Intense RTS action: build structures, manage resources, and create battle tactics. "
This is a small mod for Army Men: RTS. Like any other of my remasteration projects, the goal is to update the audio & graphics for older games.
Things to know before auditioning:
- None or Low amount of background noise
-Ages 16 & up are recommended to audition.
- You don't need to replicate/imitate the original voices of the game.
And with that... Good luck on the hunt for roles! :)

A new unit made available for the remastered version of the game. Pretty strong against infantry, flamethrowers doing splash damage, so they could easily deal against squads of machine-gunners, grenadiers or even bazooka-men.
Need something burned?
Right away sir!
Waiting for your orders.
Sir.Melt 'em!
Melt 'em to scrap!
Vikki is Colonel Grimm’s feisty and lovely daughter. She has a spirit for adventure and has chosen the occasionally dangerous occupation of reporter. She’s able to take care of herself and is practically one of the Bravo Company Commandos - only her beauty singles her out from the rest of the war dogs!
Late in the campaign against Blintz, she joins Sarge's forces after he arrives on the attic .

I came in through the window, hitched a ride with the Air Cavalry. How about you guys?
We're not far. But i don't see any way into the base.

A new unit made available for the remastered version of the game. Each boat has got one spinning turret with two barrels on it. Boats producing great damage with it, slightly less than tanks, but a bit more than half-tracks and choppers. Also they could successfully fight against aircraft and buildings because of high fire range (64), so they are great unit to attack enemy base from the sea.

The Half-Track is a good all-around assault vehicle, and its ability to hit air targets, as well as ground troops, makes it a useful addition to any squad.

Sgt. Hawk (mostly reffered as Sarge) is the no nonsense de-facto leader of the green army and the official leader of Bravo Company: A squad of super soldiers made from the greatest minds from various fields.
His favourite holiday destination is on the front lines and killing the Tan Army is his favourite past-time.
He commands his troops with a iron fist and his nerves of steel has made him survive ordeals that would spell fate for any other green soldier. He has little tolerance for slacking and keeps a strong discipline for his troops, often being idolised by many green soldiers as well as being Col. Grimm's right hand man. He is extremely profecient with a variety of weapons, including improvised ones.
He has a personal like for his Green Troops, Bravo Company and Vikki Grimm and will up to anything to throw his troops into the fires of war and drag them back out of its ashes nearly unscathed.

Look, we blow things up it's our job, and if I've seen one thing in my day that needs some blowing up pronto it is this! So are you gonna get off your motherfucking asses to do your jobs, or do you want to get back in that bucket?! Now who's with me?!
It seems that one of our own has seen fit to go over to the other side. That man was a colonel in our army, and I'm not gonna lie to you - He's good.
Move it ladies we're just getting started!
Mortar Men attack structures only, so send them out directly to each Tan base for some serious long-range wreckage. Remember, if they can see it, they can destroy it.

Tying his love for Jazz and the explosions of enemy armor and plastic soldier pieces, Riff is the anti-tank specialist of Bravo Company.
Unlike his more wild and cocky squadmates, Riff takes on a more cool-headed approach to his squad-leader; resulting in them both being close friends.
His cool head is essentially ideal in wielding the heavy bazookas for the tougher jobs, his squad faces.
Voice: Deep voice.

Grenadiers are the other staple to every squad. These highly effective fighters throw grenades for an area-effect attack and are cheap to produce, so don’t be afraid to populate the platoon with them. However, they cannot attack air vehicles.

He has one appearance in the intro. He explains the situation with Blintz. (Two lines).
Not long ago we've had this region secured under the supervision of one of our own Colonel Blintz. That changed when Blintz was injured in the line of duty. Medics did what they could. But he sustained a massive disfiguring head-wound.
And he took his soldiers with him. Those that didin't turn.. were melted down for scrap.

Good morning soldier. I'm sure you're itching to get out on the field. But before you do, we're gonna help you brush up on your skills. You've got a lot of new tools to play with. So it's best you know how to use 'em. Let's make this quick so we can get moving!
Your mission.. is to proceed through the white picket fence and track down the Colonel. When you find him, eliminate all defenses and--
Now. I'm afraid so. He's gone tan.
The Narrator primarily teaches the players how to play the game. Sometimes he notifies the player if they are under attack, or if they are low on resources.

Hold the right mouse button down while putting the mouse in any direction to move the camera across the drain scroll forward and position the camera so that it is centered on the extraction point to the north.Don't press the J key. It does nothing. Do not ever go near the J key.
What've you just done, can never be taken back.
Colonel Blintz was an ex-officer of the Green Nation. Blintz was in charge of a Green-held region when he was shot in the head; the injury was described as a "massive, disfiguring head wound." Afterwards, he disappeared, only to resurface later as a member of the Tan Republic. Blintz is intent on dominating the Real World and is using the Green's own tactics back against them. He is defeated and is a sap about it until Sargeant Hawk peeled off the paint after beating Blintz up. He's a very mysterious figure.

We're all playthings.. of the giant fingers, they pull us, abuse us, make us fall in despair.. do you understand sergeant?
I like you Sergeant. I like you because you're alive. But you've come to my way. So i'll have to remove that most redeeming quality of yours.
You've taken something from me Sarge. I'm afraid I can't let that happen.
You can never have enough Grunts in yourplatoon. They operate by targeting one thing and firing at it continuously with rifles. They are not only the cheapest unit you can create, but are also effective against the entire Tan Army.
Unlike all troops, Grunts actually have a small role in the story. Mostly responding to Sarges commands, however.
Line Amount: 50~
Good to see you sir. We've got pinned down here. Need a hand?
Sir no. *pause* That's okay sir!
Sir, yes sir!
Sir, no sir!
Freeze! You're surrounded!
The timid minesweeper of Bravo Company. He makes quite a few appearances in the games story. Most notable one is where he rescues the ants from death.
Hoover is a rather cowardly soldier and dosen't take combat as seriously as the rest of the company does. He is usually in the back, quivering in his boots, and will refuse to come out, until the coast is clear before he does his job.
Despite his shaky behaviour, Hoover is unwittingly loyal to the company and will relunctingly try his best to rescue his company from even danger that they can't handle. Although, he'll need a poke in the right direction beforehand.
I'd imagine his voice being quite over the top, also struggling to talk properly (stuttering)
His natural reflexes, and sensitivity to danger, has honoured him with the serious job of clearing mines.

I DID IT I RESCUED THEM!
Scorch is a Bravo Company commando with one superheated goal: To hear every Tan soldier scream, every enemy melt and the smell of molten plastic. No wonder his bed is actually a box of matches.
Scorch's childish manner is well balanced with his hot topics involving a flamethrower, which he feels right at home with.
Voice should be very maniacal and crazy/mad, (he usually loses control and goes absolutely ham, type crazy/mad.)
Line Amount: 30~
You know something. I can't think of anything more rewarding, than a massive trainwreck... Am i right? Of course i'am!!
Let's melt em!!!
FIREEEEEEEEEEEE! AND MORE FIREEEE!
What? What?! What?!
Well it shouldn't be hard, the place is dead, ya know!
Thick is about as sharp as a marble. What the big lug lacks in brains, he makes up for with brawn and enough cover fire with his M-60 machine gun to knit a lead blanket. Sarge has a soft spot for Thick and the enthusiasm he brings to the Bravo Company Commandos.
Voice: Generic stupid fat guy voice,.

Yeeeees?
Uh ohhhh bad guyssss.

The marksman of Bravo Company.
Bullseye, the newest Commando in the company, has a keen eye. His sharp shooting can drop a Tan Soldier in his tracks even before the others know danger is coming. He keeps his cool in any situation - the “ice man” of the Bravo Company Commandos.
Voice: Very cool-headed. Like an agent.

Depicted as a surfer. Shrap's attitude, and his habit of calling Hawk "dude", usually drags out the unwanted side of his squad leader.
However, his ability to ride the waves and expert use of a mortar earned him the role of making any entrenched enemy ride the shock 'waves' of his shells. He doesn't have any special story appearances. So he just serves as an army unit. I'd imagine him having that generic surfer "bro" voice.
