What is This?
This is a casting call for Animated Archives, an original ARG project. If you are familiar with works such as The Walten Files, Mandela Catalog, and Vita Carnis, then you know that ARGs, Alternate Reality Games, are stories that are told through a series of puzzles hidden in media that the audience uncovers to piece together the mysteries and can impact the story depending on the audience's choices.
Without into too much detail, Animated Archives tells the story of an animation company that fell into obscurity under mysterious circumstances.
Expectations:
Any accents work for your auditions, whatever you think would fit best for your audition!
Communication will be sent via CCC direct messages, email, or IG messages
Payment will be through Paypal and will be sent once voice lines are sent.
Depending on the success of the project, I'd love to keep continue the story, so there is a chance for longtime and recurring parts.

Hope you're all having a wonderful day, regardless of whether you celebrate Thanksgiving or not.
I wanted to give you guys an update on the project and what kind of things to expect in the new year!
So despite putting the project on a hiatus, the plot bunnies decided that wasn't going to be the case and over the summer/fall, I've been reworking the script, the planned puzzles and so on.
As of right now, I'm going through the last writing and editing with the script, and the plan is to have it completed by the end of December.
So assuming all the ducks (and plot bunnies) remain in a row, the plan for the following year should look something akin to this:
Early Jan-> Script Finalized; Reach out to Voice Actors
Late Jan-> Open Auditions up for Needed Roles (This will get an Update in itself when they're opened)
Late Feb-> Close Auditions (Another Update)
March-> Getting Lines, Editing, etc!
Late April/ Early May (tentatively)-> First part to release! (Update)
Obviously things aren't completely set in stone, but hopefully this should be the game plan going forward.

I wanted to give you guys an update and a heads up for the future of this project.
So far things have been going well, but working out the clues and "gameplay" aspects of the ARG have decided to fight back and I am finding that I am going to have to rework the game play, and by extension the story while fitting within my current skill set and current life schedule.
What does that mean going forward?
It does mean that this project will be on a hiatus for an indefinite amount of time and the information such as names and some descriptions may not transfer over to the new project. My apologies for any inconvenience or disappointment this causes.
Similar to YouTube creator Markiplier, Paul is unendingly witty and charming. They are able to control the mood of a room with light humor and a well-practiced smile. However, under that glowing personality, hides a selfish man, seeking fame and they'll do anything to get their hands on it. A visionary with a short temper, he is not above ignoring other's needs or feign obliviousness to fulfill his goals.
[As if scolding a child] Now, now, now, I have been more than fair in making sure that you are comfortable. This would be done a lot sooner had I not taken your comfort into consideration, but I happen to be someone to think about how my actions affect others.
I have always felt, and always will feel that the men that contribute most to the organization should, out of respect alone, enjoy some privileges. My first recommendation to the lot of you is this; put your own house in order, you can't accomplish a damn thing by sitting around and waiting to be told everything. If you're not progressing as you should, instead of grumbling and growling, do something about it.

Cythia is a woman who knows what she wants and what respect she deserves. Blunt and confident in her skillsets, she has little time for tomfoolery and time wasting, resorting to dry or catty humor or bitchiness to speed things along. She does care deeply about her employees and tries to use her status to help them out.
Because if I have to talk to him, he’ll give me some roundabout excuse about people knowing their place, not worrying about the ones riding my coattails or some patronizing shit like he usually does when somebody tells him something he doesn’t want to hear. [Beat] Either that or I murder him.
(Defeated) It doesn’t matter anyways, look; I told Patterson that I’d talk to you and get you to talk to Paul before he takes matters into his own hands…and I’d rather not get to that point…

Charles "Charlie" Avalon is often the designated "adult" for the studio he works for, managing to be the mediator and the one who keeps the train on tracks. As a result he's tired and comes across as jaded, but he tries to keep upbeat for the other employees, trying to maintain that spark of joy that he had when he first started creating. He will call out problems, but he tries to go for a gentle approach.
Alright, I can’t stay long, but what did you need me for? [awkward chuckle] What, did he forget to pass along his corrections or something?
Paul, please, you need to hear me out; we’re going to have people walk out on us if you don’t listen to what they’re asking for. They’re not asking the world, they just want some recognition and some organization…if they don’t get it from you, then they go believing the lies that the Lead Foot’s spewing and then we’ve got people’s blood on our hands because they made a deal with the devil…

An optimistic and cheerful teenager, Alex is the epitome of "too smart for his own good"; always looking for something to alleviate his boredom. He is a genuinely nice guy and tries to remember that his actions effect others, though he has a tendency to slip up when he's excited.
Ha, yeah, don’t really worry about her; she’s always like that; Cassie will take care of her when she gets back to school.
And your point? Look, you don’t have to come, but if you really want to throw them for a loop or make a few extra buck, then you're welcome to come with..

Morinaga is the classic take on "don't judge a book by its cover"; while appearing aloof and disinterested in things, she is observant and a warm personality once you get to know her. She does have a dry sense of humor and will use sarcasm to buy herself time in an uncomfortable conversation.
Are you sure that this is a good idea? I mean the place is abandoned for a reason...[beat, disbelief] You already told the sheriff? Ah...that solves that problem then...
It’s a childhood nickname. And I mean, you got that asshole off my back so I didn’t deck her, so call it even.
