Animal Jam Movie: Exotic Flowers
Project Overview
This is an Animal Jam film/movie that will be edited and framed in such a way as to try and remove most, if not all, of the gameplay elements in an attempt to make the experience less invasive and more "cinematic" in a sense.
Synopsis for the movie: A young lemur named Blossom is running an exotic flower shop when suddenly she is kidnapped by the phantoms and taken to the phantom fortress’s labs. She meets a threatening-looking, but sweet hyena that was experimented on by the phantoms. The two unlikely friends have to work together, escape, get back to Jamaa safely, and warn the alphas so they can prevent danger to Jamaa. But that is all easier said than done; the phantoms are on high alert and the alphas are far apart.
Requirements:
-Please ensure that your microphone is capable of recording your performance without picking up overwhelming background noises or excessive peaking/clipping. Many of these roles are for larger-than-life characters who tend to involve shouting and even a bit of overacting in some capacity at some time or another. If you cannot commit to the needs of a given role please do not audition as I cannot expect to select someone who cannot perform a role required.
-If you are cast I will not expect you to do any recording for me until you are ready or available. So even when auditions are over and every role is cast: I don't want you to do any recording if you aren't ready.
-You must be 13 years old or older. If you audition and you are younger than 13, you won't be accepted.
A few final notes:
1. I'm a huge fan of animal jam and so I may be submitting my auditions alongside all who wish to participate. Each role will have the suggested guidance and ideal performance parameters I have in mind for each character, but the beauty of acting is taking the same premise or direction and presenting it with your unique flair.
2. Discord is required as we utilize it to organize group rehearsals, deliver announcements, and distribute the script. It's also been an incredibly useful tool for getting to know the people affiliated with the project and I've had a fair bit of fun with it.
3. The audition lines may or may not be in the final script.
4. I will not be afraid to remove you from the project if you constantly disturb other members of the project or even are rude to other members. I want this to be stress-free and make it fun for all members of the project.
