Alice on Delivery - Original voice actor audition
Project Overview
Introduction
Alice on Delivery is a cozy, fairy tale-based delivery game. The main character is Alice, a curious and courageous mail woman whose job is to deliver mail to and discover secrets about the world’s eccentric and whimsical inhabitants.
Chapter 1 takes place in Heartlier, a city-by-the-sea famous for their efficient and advanced public works departments. The post office here is a big deal, as is the bank, police department, and the Financial Supervisory Service. Top employees are treated like k-pop idols, complete with their own fandoms and merchandise.
In addition to the city of Heartlier, the game features two others: Clodia and Spaden. Each city follows a distinct elemental theme.

Spaden: Air
Characters are strongly themed around their city’s element and are often re-imagined from popular fairy tales.

About meHello! I'm RIM, solo developer of AoD. Making my own project has been my dream since I was little, and now I'm trying to make that dream come true.
I truly wish for players to love my characters as much as I do! I’m looking for people to help bring my characters to life with strong voice acting.
About the casting callThere will be 5-6 short voice effect for each character (greeting, laugh, sad(mad), embarrassed, question. +special effect for certain characters)
I'm trying to add only voice effects for character chats so everyone can understand regardless of language setting. The game is still in development, so there is the possibility for additional voice lines (full dub for main story) and payment for main story characters.
DetailsPlease submit clean recordings with professional mics (clean recording with no background noise. Please check your audio before submission.)
Since this is solo dev project, and I prefer to keep this project small, so feel free to audition for several characters. There's definitely a possibility for casting one VA as multiple characters.
Character lines are subject to change, so please consider these voice lines just for the audition.
Feel free to add or act for the character. especially for the attack lines.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. I'll answer as much as I can to the extent that I can answer without spoilers or revealing the schedule for the game.

Alice works as a delivery man at the Heartlier post office.
She is a workaholic, and very serious when it comes to rules and work. Alice keeps any kind of promise she makes, and she doesn’t know how to say no when people ask her for favors.
She has a giant pen axe, and she’s very good at using it.
She isn’t very emotional or talkative, and she’s a bit cynical. However, she has a big responsibility as a public employee, and she loves her work.
As the player character, Alice has attack and skill effects. She doesn’t make loud noises when she attacks or moves, but for her heavy attack, she makes a short, strong shout.

Cheshire is the chief of the delivery department at the Heartlier post office, and the boss of the player character Alice.
Cheshire’s dream is becoming the #1 idol in Heartlier, so he always tries to flirt with everyone and increase his popularity (but he is not popular at all).
He loves to take naps during the busiest delivery times (he thinks it’s good for beauty sleep), and he’s always doing things to advance his personal dream career, rather than completing his work for the post office. Most of the work goes to Alice instead.

Dodo is Alice’s coworker at the Heartlier post office.
Dodo loves to run all over Heartlier, but he’s pretty clumsy, so he always falls down (hence all the Band-Aids). Though he tries to work hard, his clumsiness makes him a mediocre worker. Despite that, Dodo will always try to help you out, even when you don’t need help.
He is very cheerful, smiley, and energetic, and makes everyone feel better.

Hatter is a police officer, and the #1 idol in Heartlier. Most Heartlier villagers are fans of Hatter, meaning he gets forgiven for any mistakes he makes.
Although Hatter needs to protect the town, he’s not very smart. He applied to the police force just for the free doughnuts. Hatter doesn’t really understand the duty of police, but he’s forgiven every time because of his beauty.

Polar is working as the photographer for the newspaper department at the Heartlier post office. She decorated the entire newspaper department, transforming it into a fan club for her favorite idol, “Donut Prince Hatter.” She’s always trying to make the player, Alice, join the club. She’s pretty obsessed with Hatter, and follows him everywhere to get new photocards, just like the paparazzi.

Bill is the owner of the Heartlier bank, which is called ‘This is Not Casino.’ It sounds, looks, and seems like a casino, but he claims it’s really not. Bill loves to gamble and buy expensive things. He is very rich, and the bank has most of the money in Heartlier.
He is always playful, but he isn’t very kind to everyone. The only thing he cares about is money, and he hates anything unrelated to money. If you don’t have money, please don’t expect kindness from him.

Coin is Bill’s coworker at the Heartlier bank, ‘This is Not Casino’. She loves to gamble too, just like him, but in a “cuter” way. She’s extremely good at gacha and crane games.
Coin loves to spend money on fancy things, and just like BIll, she won’t take you seriously if there’s no money involved.

Issue is a ticket receptionist in Heartlier.
He is always tired, but tries to be kind to everyone. But as you can see, his eyes are quite dead. In fact, he has dark circles under his eyes because of his frequent overtime. He is a good worker, so he tries not to sigh or show bad manners in front of the customers.
Because of his shady appearance, his behavior sometimes causes misunderstandings. He has a lot of interest in skincare and beauty products (to hide his tired face). So if he asks something creepy… he’s really just interested in what kinds of beauty products you’re using.

Carcy is a resident of Heartlier. She has 3 jobs, resulting in her being always tired and burnt out from working.
Carcy holds a high opinion of herself. She believes that she is a god from the legends, and all the other residents of Heartlier are weak, miserable humans. However, due to her financial issues, she always has to work for these “pathetic humans” and hide her disgust. Because of this, Carcy is not kind to people—she’s always on edge.

You can usually meet him near the casino (bank), sleeping on the floor with empty bottles around him.
He doesn’t have a cowboy accent, but his speech is drunken/slurred.

- Since this role needs more effort, and he’s one of the main characters, we can negotiate for the payment.
