Aethereal Archives: The Hub World (Pilot)

Aethereal Archives: The Hub World (Pilot)

Project Overview

This is a three part pilot episode for The Hub World Webcomic Series, under the overarching franchise dubbed Aethereal Archives, which has an accompanying six book series called The Ragnarok Effect, a work in progress that I work on weekly. Heavy elements of action, adventure, and a dash of philosophical ideologies aims to explore the lore and existential ideas that this passion project entails.

The main cast of characters are evolutionary descendants of their respective species thanks to an invention adopted by the one who started it all known as The Improbability Drive, which blurs the line between biology and technology tremendously. They grow and evolve, spar and educate themselves and other worthy and diverse individuals for the sake of reaching absolute evolution for the universe they created.

Creating this passion project is a means to collaborate and bring not only my imagination to life, but yours as well! Once the ball gets rolling, there will be plenty of opportunities to include diverse characters, worlds, and universes based on those who have expanded on their own personal projects for the sake of creative freedom (within reason).

***TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION***

The secured role payment, being 50 dollars and stacking depending on how many roles you fill, IS 4 TIME PAYMENT FOR THIS PILOT OR UNTIL WE ESTABLISH SUCCESS ON YOUTUBE. The budget of a total of 8,000 dollars is meant to help kick start the series in hopes that the investment not only pays back, but is able to sustain long term, eventual compensation for the entire team. This project has the potential to grow and develop us, by providing experience, exposure, and a small amount of upfront payment that is complementary and not yet reoccurring. Hopefully, with this taken into consideration, you can still participate, but if not, I totally understand.

HOWEVER...!!!

Depending on how I can allocate finances, once the team is solidified, we can work to see what best price ranges can be instilled for the completion of this first of many projects to come. I want to make this work for all of us, so if we need to add to the budget limit, once roles are officially accepted and work is being completed, there can be room for additional funding for your respective contributions, within reason and respect.

  • This a passion project that originated from a long term roleplay chat I created back in 2016. It is still active on the Roleplaying Amino (RPA)

  • The entire franchise has books in progress, a guidebook, and other sources of lore that have been accumulating for the past 6+ years that I aim to bring to life, alongside other contributor's characters and world building

  • Once everyone secure their role(s), I will pay everyone their 50 dollars for participation, or more depending on how many roles are secured by each person

  • My Discord is chompa1000, and join Aethereal Archives Official Discord if you're interested in our project!

  • Final products will be posted on our YouTube channel, https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCru2LSQZ9XZ0WJWTD5gHjiA

  • Payments can be made with Venmo, CashApp, or PayPal

  • All credits for each team member will be provided at the end of each video

  • Voice actors can use any additional lines provided in their character sheet if you so choose. You may also create your own lines if you wish. They are also a bit lengthy to read, but reading all of it is merely recommended, so feel free to skim for the important/relevant info if you think its all you need for your audition(s)

  • Message me on any platform, anytime. I always respond eventually!

Voice Description

Baritone, husky, gravelly (Tank Dempsey from COD Zombies)

Voice Lines/Quotes:

[Fearless, Sincere] "Make peace or die. Them's been my only options for fucking years. I don't see why you'd make a difference."

[Stern, emotionless] "I don't care if you think you can't move. Get the fuck up."

[Sentimental, soft] "Semper fi, Marines. Semper fi."

[Solemn, regretful] "Look, I know I've done things that have tainted my good name with my fellow Marines. I still love them, even if the feeling ain't mutual. I understand now why I must live with that disdain. Shit's a heavy burden, but all I can do is make up for lost time and my own ignorance."

[Panicked, high alertness] "He's a fucking powerhouse! I don't know if we can actually do this, even as a unit! Fuck me. Fuck this shit! What are we gonna do?!"

[Consoled, accepting] "You're right, kid. I get it. If there's a will, there's a way. I never believed those words before I met her, but if you're saying it now, it only means she was more right than I'd care to admit. Thanks."

[Motivated] "Embrace the suck, boys! You think it's bad now? We haven't even made it to the base of the mountain yet!"

History and background details

Gunnar Hanson aspired to be one of the few and the proud since he was a freshman in high school. Once he went through the rigorous journey to accomplish this goal, everything seemed to be working out in his favor. He felt fulfilled, a sense of belonging, and even found purpose in his life. After he graduated bootcamp, Gunnar was assigned as an 0341 (infantry mortarman) in the School of Infantry and learned the essentials of launching explosives from a distance.

After graduating SOI, he was alphabetically assigned to be stationed in Camp Pendleton, California, where he'd continue to learn the ropes of being in the infantry with actual experience; he joined 1st Battalion, 5th Marines, 1st Marine Division, and was being mentored by the best. He was sent out to Yuma, Arizona for 3 months for desert training, earned his helo dunker certificate, and almost got deployed overseas, all with injuries and overcoming them time and time again.

Unfortunately, things turned upside-down for him after suffering a near death experience. During a 12 mile hike back in the hills of California, Gunnar pushed himself too far beyond his physical limits, and after suffering from rhabdomyolysis and a 107.8° core temperature, his hopes of staying in the Marines were dashed despite efforts to fight against the med board process.

After he separated, feeling like an outcast and dashed of his pride and sense of honor, Gunnar wandered in search of a new purpose in life. Before things could truly begin to feel tolerable again, the world was destroyed in nuclear fire, taking him out with it. After the dust settled, the veteran would somehow crawl out of a crater back in his military attire and physique that he had right out of bootcamp so many years ago. He'd wander and survive, eventually finding someone special who'd help him cope on every front.

This was until he was confronted by Primus Odhinkar, and after the two fought a grueling battle, he convinced the Marine that the only way to save what remained in his world was for him to be escorted out of the universe, never to return. Begrudgingly, Gunnar said goodbye to his soon-to-be baby momma and promised that somehow, they'd see each other again, even if he didn't know how.

Years passed, and the two became a group of eleven, now aiming to make a new home out of a universe of their collective making. To fill the void after losing everything, Gunnar decided to act as the military trainer and instructor, to teach the younger Chompas about how to fight, build discipline, and earn the right to do so via rigorous and relentless training. He'd be ruthless yet fair, and when the ball got rolling for the clan, Gunnar was the appointed embodiment of his Marine Corps Spirit, forced to confront his past one push up at a time.

General Info

Name:  Damien Hartvigsen

Nickname: "Omega"

Gender: Male

Race: Chompa

Age: [left to interpretation for now, appears 14]

Appearance

Height: 5'1

Weight: 114

Hair: Messy, long fringes

Skin: Caucasian, light tan

Distinguishing marks: n/a

Eyes: prominent, red with gold flecks

Clothing: black shirt with a red stripe across the torso, brown cargo pants, gray shoes with white soles and black laces, otherwise wearing the same adventuring outfit as Owen.

Personality

Temperament: abnormally anxious (puts in effort to hide it more often than not), edgy, introverted unless comfortable, prone to anxiety attacks

Moral/ethical beliefs: Damien isn't afraid to take lives recklessly. He has a collection of souls that he uses in combat or to play with on his off time. He is afraid of losing his life, but easily strips it away from others. In fearing death, he became an embodiment of death itself.

Religious beliefs: Damien hates religion and their abundant followers. He places his faith in absolute uncertainty, and doesn't believe that even his kind will ever figure out all the answers to things above or below them on a spiritual spectrum. He's an extreme agnostic.

Hobbies: Collecting souls, hunting and killing an assortment of supernatural creatures, video games, dancing

Likes: hanging out with his brother and Owen, eating flesh (any kind, cooked or otherwise), feeling in control of any given situation

Dislikes:

Fears: dying, his sense of self control wavering, karma

Strengths:

  • An absolute powerhouse; strongest Chompa in terms of raw power output, and uses bullet hell tactics before getting serious with opponents to overwhelm them

  • Has multiple transformations that he utilizes for combat

  • Ruthless and uncaring, just like reality itself

Weaknesses:

  • Painless attacks. He can't detect them until it's too late.

  • Doesn't register constructive criticism in a healthy manner

  • Has a dualistic relationship with his Drive; it's a constant struggle for control over his body and mind

  • Extreme anxiety gets the better of him more often than not. It hinders him significantly in most settings

Long term goals:

  • Attain perfect synergy with his Drive

  • Overcome his chronic anxiety

  • Prove himself as a warrior and find inner peace

Voice Description

Raspy, young, raucous, sort of like a younger Baby from Dragon Ball GT

Voice Lines/Quotes:

[Sinister]"Sure, I'm always anxious. That doesn't mean I'm afraid to kill you."

[Sincere, diabolical] "Death is a human construct. Let me tell you, I'm far from human."

[Passionate, killer instinct] "Life implies suffering. I'm just the messenger."

[Anxious] "Don't tell me anything that can be resolved with the word 'just' in the sentence. This shit is more than 'just' getting over myself or 'just' calming down!"

[Scared, sensitive] "No, I mean it. I seriously don't know how I would be if I was left back home, if that could even be considered 'home'. You've always been there for me, Tait. The others are just icing on the cake."

[Angry, sneering, injured] "You think that this pain is gonna stop me?! You can't even begin to wrap your head around what it turns me into!"

Events and History

History and background details

Damien and his twin brother Tait were born in an underground government facility that focused heavily on the development and research of the Improbability Drive. Specifically, the scientists were developing and improving on earlier models and their influence of Aether, a foundational essence that is the building blocks of this segment of reality. Damien has an extremely dominant Dæthereal ratio, and Tait has an extreme Læthereal one. The two went through rigorous and subtle experimentation that was keen on studying what made them tick in either extreme on an emotional, psychological, and physical spectrum. He loves his brother, who helped him cope and remain neutral in his insanity and extreme anxiety, but eventually, the struggle became too much for him to bear.

Damien was diagnosed with an extreme and unwavering anxiety disorder, and to try and bring his Dæther to the forefront for more precise study on it, he was conditioned to live a life full of anxiety-inducing circumstances. The more anxious he was, the more his fungal Drive would surmount control over his body and mind, which allowed the scientists to study this dark version of Aether in depth, albeit despite the interventions of a particular scientist, who was like a father to them. Damien was always afraid of losing control and was constantly battling to remain his human self, but this only fanned the flames for his Drive to take over.

When push came to shove, Damien lost control completely and transformed into a Goliath beast that soon broke free of his confinement. He'd wreak havoc on a small town until Tait was sent out to try and subdue him, but he couldn't do it on his own despite their deep bond and relationship.

It seemed that Damien was gone for good, but when Primus, Gunnar, Cain and Owen arrived to intervene, they succeeded in bringing him back from the subconscious of the Drive before taking them both to confront the leader of this organization, the one who started it all. Unfortunately, he had vanished before they could do so, and thus set out with seemingly good intel from his colleagues to a prehistoric timeline in yet another far off universe.

Damien would prove to be quite the handful for the group, even with the interventions that Tait provided him. He would kill recklessly, collect souls to toy with, and made it clear that he didn't want to be amongst them. However, as weeks became months, he grew a fondness for the emotional support that the group provided him, despite all of his major faults, including guilt, uncertainty, an irrational fear of death, and his iconic anxiety. By the time they arrived in the prehistoric timeline, he was more capable of maintaining control of himself more often than ever before, and no longer subjected to the old lifestyle of constant high alertness and chronic fear, he became quite the fighter when they needed him to be. Like a caged dog, he'd form a mutual bond with his Drive to fulfill both of their needs via serious combat and self preservation.

By the time they created and moved to their new home universe, Damien was taken under the wings of the Chompas as a warrior, so as to train how to control himself and his Drive with much more direct discipline and endurance. Eventually, he'd prove to be the strongest in terms of power output and even adopted a trait of pain-induced amplification, meaning the more he could tolerate pain from his opponents, the stronger he'd become. Training with Tait and Owen specifically, he found a new fondness of the combative arts and would be put through the ringer time and time again to evolve and adapt beyond his expectations. Now, he explores, trains, and learns what he can tolerate regarding the way of being a true Chompa, albeit with stubborn resistance along the way. While his anxiety is still high and occasionally detrimental, he has made unfathomable progress in controlling himself and his Drive.

Voice Actor
Voice Actor: Cain "Phantom" Husher
closed
Paid: Flat Rate 50 USD
cast offsite

General Info

Name:  Cain Husher

Nickname: "Phantom"

Gender: Male

Race: Chompa

Age: [left to interpretation for now, appears mid-20's]

Appearance

Height: 6'6

Weight: 240 lbs

Hair: Unknown, usually hidden by hood

Skin: Unknown

Distinguishing marks: n/a

Eyes: black mask holes, bright red pupils emanating from within black, featureless eyes

Clothing: camouflage coat with a gray hood, black fingerless gloves, torn brown cargo pants, black steel toe boots

Personality

Temperament: Confrontational, cold, relentless, quiet, edgy, depressive, emotionless

Moral/ethical beliefs: As a "former" serial killer, especially with the mask fused into his being, Cain's bar is quite low on a moral spectrum. He has severe disdain for others, yet he wants to return to the well balanced person he was prior to finding the mask. He's not afraid to kill, similar to Damien, but he doesn't do it on his own volition or to lash out, only to temporarily satiate amplified intrusive thoughts and actions, or fight his reflection if he sees himself in anyone else. He's conditioned himself to be quite unfeeling and emotionless, as his original frame of being was lost when he and Owen split into two separate beings. He does want to be good again, but he doesn't know how, or if anyone can help him; thus, he doesn't blame people for judging him.

Religious beliefs: Cain doesn't have a good grace with God, and despite being devoted in one life, he now feels that God prefers Owen over him in this new one he wound up in. His anger fueled his selfishness, and disdain for both God and Owen led him to become a true demon and a marked wanderer, cursed to never see his own face ever again for the remainder of his immortality. Needless to say, he knows that God, whatever He may truly be, is not on his side, and probably never was. He feels his sacrifices when he was good were not up to par with His expectations.

Hobbies: Long walks in the woods, soul searching, taxidermy, knife collecting

Likes: Talking to the other Chompas, scaring people (sometimes), killing those who he deems necessary, therapy animals

Dislikes: People who remind him of himself, society, Owen Husher (deep down), having hope, his addiction

Fears: Confronting his past, moving forward with uncertainty, God, never being his true self again

Strengths:

  • Potent user of Dæthereal arts; uses it to embody the Phantom he currently is

  • Can phase through objects, is quick to be as Formidable as Jason Voorhees, yet also agile enough to be quick, precise, and violently potent. Capable killer in many settings and scenarios

  • Can relate to most of the group, yet avoids Owen or Tait when he can get away with it. He loves Primal and Damien the most, if he could truly love anything sincerely, along with Primus, who is devoted to help him find what he's yearning for

Weaknesses:

  • Only uses Dæthereal perks; is not good against Læthereal or light/positive opponents, though he does still have some tricks up his sleeve in such scenarios

  • Highly addicted to being the (no longer) intrusive self that he currently personifies; he can't help himself from hurting others most of the time

  • Doesn't talk too much; keeps things brief, to the point, and avoids those who he knows will cause internal conflict, good or bad

Long term goals:

  • Become the person he once was; find peace with himself and what he's done to so many others

  • Confront his past and make amends by any means he can achieve

  • Try to be more like Owen and the other positive influences in his life, and make small steps towards recovery

Voice Description

Hateful, Sullen, unapologetic, low pitched, plaintive, sort of like Darth Vader from Star Wars yet more unique; have fun with it and see what makes it sound intimidating yet capable of sorrow. No distinguishable race or ethnicity.

Voice Lines/Quotes:

[Serious, chilling] "Killing is a dead man's game."

[Sullen, admiting"...no. I do not hate him for hating me. How could I? He's every right to. I hate him for… other reasons."

[Uncertain, dreary] "I don't think he has my face, or my skin, for I've lost it all too long ago. Sure, we were once one in the same, but I know not who or what I once was. I don't think I ever will."

[Stern, convinced] "The nature of humanity knows only of killing or being killed. Murder comes with being what we once were, and it stains us evermore."

[Serious, emotionless]"I appreciate your empathy, but you waste yourself by caring for what I am. What I've done. We can all do it, lest we pretend to be better than what comes naturally."

[Unphased, certain] "People like me are the result of people like you."

[Accepting, sincere] "The fact that you offer me hope which I can actually feel is too intrusive to what has boiled to the surface. Perhaps I should try to dignify that notion."

Events and History

History and background details

Cain Husher was 13 when he first found the mask that changed him forever. Before that downward spiral, he was a devoted Christian and a generally good youth who had a quality group of friends, parents who loved him despite a divorce, and a dog whom he loved dearly. One fateful day before Halloween, Cain and two of his friends stumbled upon the mask seemingly by accident, stuck to the bottom of a waist high river in the woods behind their homes. Cain managed to snag it and took it home to clean it, and thinking it was cool, being a fan of serial killer movies such as Friday the 13th, he decided to dress up as Jason Voorhees, donning the oddly similar yet unique mask.

That was his best Halloween ever! Such a big haul of candy and an avalanche of compliments regarding his custom made costume, with old clothes that were made to make him look like a real slasher. A real one, with only a plastic knife to carry around.

He soon found it tantalizing to wear it whenever he could manage, and while he initially set reasonable limits for doing so, he eventually couldn't stop himself from wearing it at school or out in public. When people told him to take it off, he'd respond with either refusal or violent outbursts, both of which quickly turned people against him and made him out to be a creep with serious problems. Those closest to him would console him, but they only seemed to get through to him when he wasn't wearing the mask. Even then, he couldn't help himself much, as though irrationality was taking over. When things became too unbearable for everyone around him, he ran away from home, never to return.

Cain found solace in isolation, wandering through woods at night without fear, thinking he was the true danger to anything or anyone he happened upon. His intrusive thoughts and actions were akin to a smoker's cigarette, and every time he gave into something that no one would reasonably undertake otherwise, the addiction became a whole new personality. Primal thoughts became violent outbursts, his conscience melted like a candle, becoming a puddle of wax, and before long, he took the life of his first victim.

The downward spiral sent Cain in a deep hole that quickly filled with cement, hardening as his intrusive thoughts became that of a whole new person, if he could still be considered one. The id took over (thanks Freud), and when the bodies piled up, and news spread fear into those who lived anywhere near his crime scenes, everyone quickly told scary stories of the elusive Phantom Killer of Massachusetts. Three years went by, and when police finally caught up to him, Cain was shot down after claiming one detective and injuring several officers, seemingly putting his reign of terror to an end.

That was, until after the adoption of an orphaned infant emerged, whose appearance was a bigger mystery than that of Cain's widely spread out crime scenes. When he was taken in by a loving family, who had adopted a couple other young girls years prior due to the parent's inability to have children of their own, the mask soon resurfaced in their home. The youngest girl, a true supernatural enthusiast, egged him on until one day, after months of studying patterns and collecting evidence of the haunting, he came back to the physical world. More powerful than ever before, Cain murdered the family before lastly confronting Owen, and burned the house down with him inside.

Not too much time passed, yet victims were many, before Primus and Gunnar came to confront and collect both Cain and Owen. After a grueling confrontation and an impasse was reached, the four of them left this universe in search of the one who started it all, never to return. That world narrowly avoided its complete destruction by the hands of Cain, and thus, when he was taken out of the picture, The Ragnarok Effect was avoided, albeit with more lives lost than any of them, eventually Cain included, cared to admit.

Dislikes: Losing a fight, being put in his place, avian birds (he can't [yet] fly and chase after them)

Fears: Spaceships, outer space, foes who are capable of killing him, the one who started it all

Strengths:

  • Insanely adaptable to prey, opponents, and environments due to his shapeshifting

  • Can change from cold to warm blooded depending on surroundings

  • While heavy, his muscular and skeletal structures are highly evolved to not only carry the weight, but use it to his own advantage for stealth and brute force alike

  • Can be trained if one proves themselves superior to him

  • Has acute self awareness and moderate levels of intelligence

  • His strongest bite force is 21,000 Newtons in his base form, which can lower or rise based on any shape shifting he undergoes

  • Has all of the utilities of the Chompa race, though is still learning to use them

Weaknesses:

  • Can be outsmarted by more intelligent species

  • While a powerhouse, he can be put in his place with creatures bigger or stronger than him

  • He can only grow so big or small until it proves inefficient

  • Gets vertigo if he wanders into outer space

Long term goals:

  • To protect the group and support their well being

  • Remain the Hub World's #1 apex predator

  • Sleep, eat, bask and fight

History and background details

Primal was born in the late Cretaceous period in a makeshift laboratory stronghold, with a mix of three unique classes of DNA; Crocodilian (primarily Deinosuchus), Critterman, and Chompa. The one who started it all was on the run from an assortment of pursuers, and decided to kill two birds with one stone; experiment and develop a unique Variant of Chompa that would inevitably hold off anyone who was hot on his trail. Utilizing an abundance of DNA on top of having an Improbability Drive made Primal a true force for anyone to reckon with, even this ragtag group of past experiments fighting in unison.

With the ability to shapeshift, actively manipulate his base form physiology (from changing teeth design for specific prey to adapting in any scenario), Primal is the prime example of what an Apex predator ought to be on a universal level. Considering the fact that he was an invasive species, the one who started it all would ensure that any reproductive acts wouldn't allow for his Drive to be passed down into his offspring. However, this didn't stop them from having any of his natural autapomorphies (unique traits) from being handed down in abundance, such as his spikes along his back, various forms of teeth, longer, muscular legs), or varieties in physiology that were unable to be altered by any individual hatchling. He has mated with many different Deinosuchus females in his time growing up.

Primal spent his days growing up in the wild, willingly released due to petty curiosity. He was a solitary hunter, one who picked up his unique traits during many near death experiences. As he grew up (rather swiftly), he found himself with abundant food and a thirst for seeking challenges. His first novice fight was against a Carnotaurus who proved a worthy foe, which made its succulent flesh that much more fulfilling. Seeking out stronger and larger predators, Primal claimed a large plot of land that he declared his territory, which included the premises of the fortification he was created in at its center.

When Primus, Gunnar, Cain, Owen, Tait and Damien arrived, they found themselves in an unprecedented world that forced them to survive and search for what they came for simultaneously. Eventually stumbling upon the fort, they found some intentional answers and even more questions that they didn't know they needed to ask. All the while, Primal was stalking and, seeing a group that resembled his bipedal creator, he decided they were going to be trouble if he didn't kill them.

When push came to shove, Primal had them beat in most fields except for intelligence. They managed to subdue and form some semblance of trust, where Gunnar made the initial bond. They'd take time getting used to each other before eventually leaving, aiming to confront the one who started it all for the last time. With this group of capable fighters, it seemed no one could stand in their way.

Primal would soon be well trained and disciplined after they made it to their new home world post confrontation. He'd be a wonderful pet, an even better guard animal, and a surprisingly effective therapy animal for the group. Most of all, he was set on being the apex predator in this new world.

Long term goals:

  • Live as long as he can, see all the sights that reality has to offer, and die in glorious battle when it's truly his time to go

Events and History

History and background details

Brynjar was born on March 6th, 1032 near Jomsborg, Poland, in the same universe as Primus. When he turned 12 years old, Brynjar was part of a raiding party that traversed to Scandinavia, since his family was slaughtered by raiders that hailed from Denmark. He wanted revenge, and since he had no further attachments to anything back home, he would become a wanderer and a warrior for the remainder of his life. When he turned 18, and upon returning to his birthplace, he proved his worth to the Jomsviking order by finding the mercenary leader who had personally killed his parents. After defeating him in a blood feud, Brynjar would be welcomed in the order with open arms and found a new purpose in his life.

Life would be full of adventure and prosperity for the traditional warrior, as he quickly made a name for himself as a mercenary that would never fail to uphold the expectations above and beyond any who hired him to fight on their behalf. He'd work for anyone who could pay him top bullion, from chieftains to christian kings without bias, so long as the pay was substantial. He was keen on upholding the Jomsviking laws to a T, and when he turned 30, he took on the role as leader of the order after a night of passion he had with a woman during one of his travels. He wouldn't uphold this responsibility, though this discipline would change after he met someone he truly fell in love with later in life. The former woman would later give birth to Gabe Christiansen.

Eventually, Brynjar would raise a family outside of the order and wound up with a lovely wife, who bestowed upon him twin daughters. It would be folly to leave out the fact that he had to constantly jump through hoops to live this double life as leader of the Jomsvikings and a family man, though thanks to his persistent nature, he managed to juggle this quite adequately. Another factor in this life of his was a decade of quarreling with the Balderklan, who were quickly challenging the Jomsvikings as hired hands, in England especially. While pay was good from kings and other notable English factions to try and keep the Balderklan at bay from their influence and conquest, their mighty Úlfheðnar would become too big a deal to cope with unless countermeasures were put in place.

A decade of fighting and trial and error against the Balderklan taught Brynjar how to effectively fight against their unfair technological advantages, and thus created a form of fighting he dubbed 'mikill hjaldr'. Using traditional combat mixed with an abundance of competence, mastery of warfare, and adaptability, this form of fighting proved quite effective against the Úlfheðnar's Vættirtols, and while this was created too late for England to take full advantage of, it leveled the playing field substantially between the Jomsvikings and the Balderklan after they held Gwynedd. The Jomsvikings proved to be the only faction that stood a chance against these technologically advanced warriors in the region, and when the Jomsvikings waged siege after siege against the might of the Balderklan, it wouldn't be until the rise of William's Wrath that he finally fought and saw the true weight of working together for the betterment of the future.

Brynjar, after the war against the Balderklan, would get backlash from his idea of long term cooperation with the enemy, and would be exiled to the mountainous and otherwise inhospitable lands of Scandinavia with a group of his supporters. His wife and daughters were slaughtered and a blood feud stirred between him and the ones who had betrayed him, and would kill them in turn before leaving with his best men. He spent two decades in this harsh land, and after his supporters died from an assortment of environmental factors and assassination attempts, he decided to find a way to follow in the footsteps of the Balderklan's mysterious God-like warriors, by making his way to England so he could work with the Balderklan's remaining geniuses to leave this world forever.

With nothing left to hold onto in this world, he would be given a unique variant of the Improbability Drive in the form of a foldable longship so he could leave and sought after anyone who had also left this world, and after following the paths carved for him, he found new meaning in life after encountering the one who started it all in a world unfamiliar to him. For better or worse, he would become a Chompa with unique perks that made him hold onto his mortality and traditional values for the remainder of his life. Brynjar became a wanderer for quite some time after turning down the opportunity to travel with him for an assortment of reasons. When it came down to it, he wanted time in solace so he could figure out who and what he truly was.

After many years of traveling and exploring the multiverse, he would eventually find his way to the group of Chompas, almost surprised to see Primus for the first time. After acclimating to the group in their new home, he would take on a handful of roles, including the tavern owner, upkeeping the Cul-de-sac, and trainer of his unique combat style for the group and any newcomers who wished to master fundamental development and discipline of any form of weapon; mind, body, spirit, and arsenal.

Religious beliefs: Amitayus is the philosopher of the group and leans toward Buddhist ideologies above most else. He takes his understanding of it and applies it toward how this segment of reality operates, teaching it to the others so they may make something unique regarding discipline, faith, and philosophy. He believes that all individuals are masks of the true God head, playing the game of hide-and-seek as though they were separate and lesser than Shiva.

Fears: never seeing his father or living family again, not knowing the ultimate nature of reality

Strengths:

  • He can manipulate and shift his Æthereal Ratio, meaning he can embody light, darkness, and perfect balance interchangeably for any purpose, though prefers to study it and teach it to others rather than for selfish gains

Weaknesses:

  • He prefers not to actively influence the universe out of fear of changing the natural course of things, thus he doesn't attain his true potential in his current position

  • While capable of astounding feats, Amitayus is reluctant to fight any battle that any of the true warriors in the group can tackle on their own. Thus, plenty of warfare is left unchecked unless it demands require his reluctant input

  • His influence is currently restricted to this universe alone

Long term goals:

  • Find his father to say his final goodbyes

  • Watch over this group of his and all they influence without stepping out of natural line/order

  • Work toward his duties as a Bodhisattva for the sake of universal evolution and ultimate Enlightenment

Voice Description

No specific race, gender or ethnicity; subtle echo, has the same tone of voice as Alan Watts; respectful, low pitched, resonant

Voice Lines/Quotes:

[Insightful] "Life implies suffering. It's unavoidable. All you can do is harden yourself to the pain and strive from there."

[Mournful, sad] "Even as I am now, the likelihood of seeing my father's face one more time is unbearably slim. Sometimes, I wonder if I even remember what he looked like before he succumbed to his cancer."

[Sincere, jovial] "I love the way you think, Tait. You're so full of optimism and hope despite all odds. It's definitely rubbing off on me!"

[Consoling] "Let go of your past, Cain. It does the spirit an injustice to hold onto things that were out of your control. At least here and now, you can yearn for a brighter future, despite the darkness within your path ahead."

[Insecure, uncertain] "I cannot bring myself to take a life for the sake of self preservation. I mean, what is there to preserve beyond my one-sided insight? Surely, the filing cabinets full of paradigms have their own wisdom that prove to be ideal compared to my own? I just don't know, and that's what hurts the most."

Events and History

History and background details

Amitayus Frontasius once worked and studied alongside Bradley Beauchemin and Stian Scriver, who had enough private funding to run their own think tank. Their main field of research was a unique device known as the Improbability Drive (Drive, ID), which was something of Bradley's imagination, capable of allowing one to study the nature of reality itself. Amitayus's primary field of study was philosophy, and given that the Drive was an extension of any mortal body it was connected to, the implications in his field were truly capable of completely rewriting paradigms people used to navigate life. Thus, his duty was to help explain all things philosophical using the insights that the ID provided.

Amitayus was fascinated by eastern philosophy and religions to the point where he converted from an atheist to a Buddhist during his early career. It made sense in a technical sense, as it happened to align with the things the ID was proving mathematically conclusive. While seeking better understanding of how reality operated thanks to the abundant research, Amitayus found himself lost in study, neglecting his personal life.

It soon came to Amitayus's attention, however, that his beloved father was succumbing to a cancer he had been diagnosed with just before Amitayus was born. It was a form of tongue cancer that was treated and went dormant for decades before finally reemerging in his early 60's, which staggered Amitayus down to his core. His beliefs, despite all he thought he knew about life and death, was confronted by the certainty of his father passing away, never to be seen again. He didn't know how to make up for lost time, nor did he feel like he knew for certain if all his work and beliefs were accurate enough to use as a coping mechanism. While Amitayus was trying to find the right answers, his father seemed to be more at peace, and offered some inspirational words from an old movie that stuck with his son for the rest of his days;

"I mean, what have you got to lose?

You know, you come from nothing

You're going back to nothing

What have you lost? Nothing!"

Heavy words with such uplifting optimism rubbed off on Amitayus, and when the fateful day arrived, he found more of a reason to try and balance work and play; for the sake of maintaining his mental health. There was a sense of acceptance with not knowing certain things, but being faithful to Buddhist ideologies made things much easier on Amitayus's shoulders. Not to mention, if this research was capable of unveiling the mysteries of what it means to be alive and how it implies death, then sticking to his ethics was worth doing for the sake of those around him.

Truth be told, with the persistence of Bradley and the insightful support of Stian, Amitayus's role of understanding and translating the philosophical paradigms became far easier for him to do. Their support was akin to that of his true family, who he finally learned to allow into his life after the death of his father brought them closer. He soon personified the kind of person who wanted to seek his understanding and Enlightenment for the sake of others instead of himself, which was how he earned the nickname Bodhisattva from his colleagues. Years of research and development of the ID introduced an opportunity to personify this ideology of grand proportion, to which Amitayus effortlessly undertook.

When he donned his Drive, his ability to study the nature of reality became more than spectacles from his previously limited vessel to comprehend. Transformed into an embodiment of his consciousness, able to explore himself and the foundational essence of existence within him without meddling with it, Amitayus's mind was truly opened. He reached nirvana and decided, for the sake of his family and peers, that he would help them achieve Enlightenment.

Shortly after Stian and Bradley had transmigrated into their immortal vessels, the group of Chompas who were pursuing the one who started it all found them instead; a grieving wisp, a lucid skeleton, and a nearly mad robot scientist, all of which were dealing with serious mental and physiological struggles. Amitayus had nearly lost his mind in pursuing his father, to little avail, Stain's LSD ID had given him psychosis, and Bradley's new body provided all the insight he didn't ask for regarding his past lives and how he knew of this supposedly groundbreaking ID research.

Thus, a compromise was established. To circumvent their Ragnarok Effect from destroying this universe, Amitayus, Stian and Bradley merged into the group and were taken to somewhere they could think straight. Amitayus was forced to prove himself and let go of all of his attachments, since the transmigration process that Stian and Bradley underwent was about to cause cataclysmic destruction until they left forever, never to return.

After some time passed, and side effects of their mentally stimulating IDs wore off, they wound up finding a vacant spot for them to create a new universe for them to live, using Amitayus as the singularity that would be capable of nullifying The Ragnarok Effect from influencing their inevitable long term goals. This ritual would force Amitayus to undergo a rigorous transmigration, but in doing so, any Chompa born or created in this new universe wouldn't have to worry about The Ragnarok Effect taking place.

After all was said and done, Amitayus became not only a Shiva in his own right, but also maintained a vessel for himself to project within this new universe. This way, he could teach his wisdom to not only his kin, but also anyone who happened upon them. While Amitayus still gets used to his ability to be in many places at once, he maintains his responsibility as a Bodhisattva for the sake of all within his universal self. He is a living example of a living universe, which had heavy implications that were necessary for teaching others how the nature of reality truly operated, inside and out.

General Info

Name:  Stian Scriver

Nickname: "Sketch"

Gender: Male

Race: Chompa

Age: [left to interpretation for now, appears early 30's]

Appearance

Height: 5'6

Weight: 25 lbs

Hair: n/a

Skin: n/a

Distinguishing marks: half closed third eye, missing right arm with floating skeleton hand

Eyes: hollow sockets with red eyes

Clothing: purple and brown robes, cloaked hood, leather boots

Personality

Temperament: Spontaneous, lucid, insightful, passive, patient, jovial, jesterly, enthusiastic, existential

Moral/ethical beliefs: Stian is a passive and equally influential individual who is capable of many feats, though doesn't boast about his role in the group. He finds transcribing history and sagas as a creative outlet that helps him cope with his psychosis. Generally speaking, Stian is a pacifist, unbiased, and conflict avoidant. However, if someone is deemed necessary to learn lessons in real time, or to be stopped with his assortment of perks, he is not afraid to do so.  He is also an amazing therapist for the group, leaning toward an existential approach.

Religious beliefs: Stian isn't afraid to take in the perspectives of all religions, thus rendering him more open minded than devoted to any singular spiritual discipline or gospel. He sees them as sources that are used for population control, faith in higher beings or ideologies, and an outcome of tribal growth and development due to geological placement and cultural evolution. He knows much about how this segment of reality truly operates, but has difficulty relaying it to others without sounding insane or psychotic in articulated words. His psychedelic mentality makes it hard for his reasoning and sanity to manifest beyond his written words.

Hobbies: Reading, writing, creating an abundance of creative projects, collecting relics of their pasts, counseling

Likes: Arcane magic, deep meditation, eating and drinking, solitude, music, literature, AI, traveling

Dislikes: medication, not being able to properly explain how things truly operate, participating in physical combat, gross smells, breaking his bones

Fears: Losing himself in his head forever, not being able to complete his end goals, any of his kin dying before they're ready, bears, skeletons

Strengths:

  • Stian has unnatural insight thanks to his third eye. His mind is his greatest asset, capable of sensing otherwise translucent and vague conceptions of himself and others, as well as using multidimensional means to influence the physical and spiritual realms

  • He may be a skeleton with a brain in the 3D, but his senses have transcended into higher dimensions

  • Stian loves to write and transcribe all that he senses and sees, to the point where he jots down notes, writes a library's worth of texts and a studio's worth of creative content to spread the word of the Chompa race

  • When he is collected and grounded, he makes up for his general lucid mentality in insight, judgment, proper translation of said insight, and overall usefulness in the most abstract or hard-to-understand fields. He can be a great ambassador and a charismatic voice of reason

Weaknesses:

  • Stian suffers from chronic psychosis, and while his grounded mentality comes in waves or episodes, he is generally detached from 'reality'

  • He is not fond of fighting others in combat, thus he is not as powerful as the warrior Chompas

  • Stian can come off as overwhelming or spontaneous, making him seem like a liability in many situations ways

  • In many cases, he seems to forget his own identity

Long term goals:

  • Spreading the word of his people's life stories and lessons to anyone who will listen; Transcribe and translate all that flows through his skull, immortalizing them in history in case they don't live forever

  • Overcoming his psychosis so he may remain grounded indefinitely

  • Help however he can to ensure the longevity of his kin

  • Ensuring that all that his kin influence grow and evolve into enlightened buds of reality

 Voice Description

Raised, euphonic, dry (sounds similar to Hubert Farnsworth from Futurama or Mr. Hippo from FNAF 6), pleasant to listen to

Voice Lines/Quotes:

[Good mood, enthusiastic] "Well well! Look at you, so full of spunk and vigor! I've always been fascinated by your saga, Primus. You were the first, after all! Oh, and look how much you've grown since then! Props all around!"

[Lucid, detached from reality] "Don't you worry about me, dear old friend. My life has been fulfilled since I took the initiative. My word, and how do you bear all those thoughts clogging your neurons? I can see them, you know. And hear them. They're crying out that which you repress."

[Wise, insightful] "You know, I've learned more things from you guys than I would ever learn in my own life. Truth be told, it's why I still aim to spread the word of our histories. People need to know what we've been through for their own sake!"

[Confused] "Hm? Who am I? That's a good question. I certainly know your name, but mine feels more like an illusionary label than a proper noun."

[Grounded, down to earth] "I won't get carried away, given the circumstances. It seems like we need to get out of here sooner than later, if we want to avoid collateral damage. You lead the way,  gentlemen."

[Inspired] "He may have started it all, but I for one cannot believe his influence was completely black and white. Sure, many have suffered thanks to him, but we mustn't let that dictate how we live our lives for the worse. We can set an example on his behalf, for the sake of all those he influenced and then some."

[Sad, regretful] "How can I begin to come down when I've climbed so high above the clouds? That fact makes me wonder how my loved ones must have felt to lose me like that. It's madness. I don't even recall how I was prior to taking the initiative, despite all I currently know about everyone else."

[Consoling, existential, hopeful] "We are a special form of our evolutionary descendants, who can prove to everyone what life and death are all about. Even if we aren't all good eggs, we have stories to tell that are relevant to whomever we happen upon. I can't think of a better way to live our immortal lives to the fullest."

[Reassuring] "Don't lose your hope, Amitayus. If we keep evolving at this pace, I have no doubt you'll be able to see him again, if only for one final goodbye."

[Foreboding] "Sanity is as delicate as life itself. All it takes is the right circumstances and 'poof'- you're gone."

Events and History

History and background details

Stian Scriver was a colleague and friend of Amitayus Frontasius and Bradley Beauchemin, who collectively funded their own think tank for researching a peculiar form of technology known as the Improbability Drive. His field of study was existential psychology, as well as transcribing and documenting all the research for the group, and was keen on writing research papers that would be shared with the scientific community. He would implement his understanding of the existential questions and translate them to the group, which helped better understand the findings that the ID provided them.

Always the insightful one, Stian was always studying the research and offering feedback for Bradley's experiments, and worked with Amitayus in regards to the way this technology could change the world and any individual who happened to be connected to it. He was also a wise cracking smart alec who would lighten the room with his banter and casual conversations, which helped keep morale up and progress treading forward at an admirable pace. He usually acted as the psychologist for the trio, and whenever he needed to be there to offer his insight and expertise regarding their mental well-being, he always was.

It was when the first three official prototypes of the ID were created that the playing field changed for these geniuses. The one that Stian ingested was made with a base of LSD, which was due to Stian's side hussle of researching psychedelic drugs. Seeing parallels and opportunities beyond words or documentation alone within merging the technology with psychedelics, he took the initiative and his life changed forever. He suddenly became diagnosed with acute psychosis, which would turn him into a spontaneous, unpredictable liability to their cause, which put a damper on productivity until he started writing down his thoughts and sensations. He would be kept in an isolated study room, where he would sit, write, and decompose after he died from overexposure to the LSD trait of his Drive.

Truth be told, his otherworldly insights and capability of writing vivid imagery of what he was experiencing made up for his inability to articulate, which is why the prolonged exposure to his ID was well documented and encouraged by Bradley. It was when he began making odd yet accurate predictions to things that lacked probable context that made him far more useful to the goals of the think tank than ever before.

Some of his stories became seemingly more fictional to the other two, as he began writing down stories and sagas of other Drive-wielding entities who were making their way to the think tank. Somehow, he knew of Primus, Gunnar, Cain, Owen, Tait, Damien, and Primal in grueling detail, as well as himself, Amitayus, Bradley, and a lone Brynjar Wilder who was making his way to them as well, in vivid detail. He knew of all things related to the eleven Chompas, including the one who started it all, and when they all finally arrived, he helped establish an end to the confrontation and an answer to the ultimatum.

The group would merge and later create a new universe to call home, without any more risk of universal destruction triggered by The Ragnarok Effect after he and Bradley underwent their transmigrations. While not completely cured of their mental ailments, the trio of intellectual Chompas would make themselves useful by offering a plethora of insight, inventions, and so much more that warriors alone couldn't conjure in their minds. Stian specifically would act as a scribe, a therapist, and general extension of the group who would help create a portal system with Amitayus so that those who were worthy of being influenced by their kind could find their way to The Hub World for mental, physical, and spiritual training and evolution.

Stian would still prove difficult to be around when he was caught in his lucid state of mind, but still proved an asset for his insight, support, and influence as a writer, psychologist, and voice of reason when he was able. He currently documents everything about his kind and those they influence for the sake of immortalizing their lessons and messages to those who can relate even beyond the confines of their new universe.

Name:  Bradley Beauchemin

Nickname: "Bionic, Mr. B"

Gender: Male

Race: Chompa (Mechanical Variant)

Age: [left to interpretation for now]

Appearance

Height: 5'7

Weight: 160

Hair: n/a

Skin: n/a

Distinguishing features: Bionic vessel resembling a Bionicle; a mask-like covering of his mechanical face, which can contort and show subtle yet vivid emotion. Norwegian flag symbol on his belt area, tubing and Tesla coils on and over the shoulders, core in the center of the triangular chest with a mysterious symbol

Eyes: feint red lenses with darker red pupils

Build: Mk. 1: (inspired by Bionicles toy brand) Triangular torso, simplistic design, teardrop-shaped arms, rotational orb hands with three fingers, mask vent over mouth, rectangular legs and geometric feet, crest over the top and forehead of mask (may change design via workshopping)

Personality

Temperament: Calculated, careful, intelligent, unwavering, cold, unyielding, determined

Moral/ethical beliefs: Mr. B is a firm upholder of pursuing goals in the name of science and discovery of new ideals, inventions, or anything groundbreaking related to absolute understanding of reality. While he may seem like a mere robot, his true nature is still human, since he uses his soul from his mortal body as the conduit of his being and power source for his Bionic vessel. Thus, he has a human consciousness in a uniquely metallic body that supersedes his flesh-given limitations pre-transmigration.

Religious beliefs: Mr. B is an atheist, though he does want to know where the concepts of all religions originate from. He sees patterns in them, and with the help of his colleagues, he aims to reveal the true origin of life itself and why it must imply death by sacrificing his own mortality to do so.

Hobbies: Machining, chess, creating Knick knacks, inventing relevant technologies, researching the ID and his kin, creating customized universes for resources, crafting space and planetary vessels

Likes: discovering new things, implementing new technologies, studying the deep and complex aspects of reality and pushing them to extremes, cats, lizards, troubleshooting, AI, keeping himself busy, practicing business for his abundant projects, white noise or lo fi music, keeping a level head and maintaining equilibrium

Dislikes: distractions, illogical ideologies or people, being limited in his work, working with others (unless it's business or beneficial), loud or obnoxious sounds, dancing

Fears: Never truly understanding how life works fundamentally, being confined in any sense of the word, being outsmarted, losing his sanity or humanity completely

Strengths:

  • Mr. B is the smartest Chompa to date, and with that comes an unyielding cunning and foresight that demands constant improvement from any failure he experiences. He uses technology, biology, cosmology, Æthereology, and a plethora of any other means to his own advantage, primarily for finishing otherwise unfinished work, business, and remaining in control of his life and all it impacts

  • He has much at his disposal for preservation of himself, his kin, and all they claim as theirs. There are countermeasures for every countermeasure his advanced mind and body can conjure up via highly advanced subroutines and programs

  • He is by far the most advanced in terms of technological advancement, his vessel is an ID that can grow, adapt, and evolve all on its own without the need of other machines to repair him as though he were a biological entity. The line between technology, biology, and spirituality are blurred to the point of obscurity regardless of his simplistic and unassuming design

Weaknesses:

  • There is always someone smarter and more insightful out there, meaning that while he is a genius, he is not the smartest individual to ever exist. He can be outsmarted or out witted in any strategical way if he isn't careful

  • He is quite prone to feeling like an emotionless machine, even though he is something else. His individuality is obscured by his current understanding of how he sees the world around him

  • He doesn't like to get involved in politics unless it benefits him, and being a distant person, he doesn't form relationships easily, even compared to Cain or Damien

Long term goals:

  • Unlock the secrets of life, death, and reality through his research via the other Chompas; push them with high expectations and foster a mastery of omniversal evolution and understanding

  • To get to the point where he can't grow and push even further beyond in the realm of the mind and consciousness

  • Try to cope with who he once was and make himself distinctly reborn as someone different

  • To spread the influence of his kin without barriers or conflict, though conflict is akin to making oneself known to even a select few of all reality

Voice Description

Formal, affected, unapologetic, resonant, orotund, robotic reverb behind the primary voice that resonates and sounds like there's hints of emotion. Sort of like the Cyclops submarine from Subnautica (see reference: https://youtu.be/g4HJ4k0lmws ) mixed with Neil deGrasse Tyson.

Voice Lines/Quotes:

[Inquisitive, curious] "You know, living amongst you people is giving me a strange sense of Deja vu. Stian, you probably know why better than I do. Care to share?"

[Cautious yet confident] "I'll be frank, gentlemen. The situation looks grim. If we can't figure a way out of this predicament, then perhaps I should start taking it more seriously."

[Direct, cold] "You can't be thinking straight, Cain. If you were, you wouldn't have killed her like a rabid skunk. Perhaps you fear your withdrawal more than you fear breaking a deal with me. Allow me to fix that."

[Unapologetic, distant] "I know what you're going through, but to be honest, I can't imagine why you're telling me directly. Usually Tait is the one you bring your emotions to. What, is he busy cleaning up another one of Damien's messes?"

[Insightful, calculated] The probability of you coming out of this unscathed is minimal, but your endurance has already proven sufficient enough to see you through to the other side. And before you get any ideas, no, it wasn't meant to sound like a compliment."

[Uncertain, reluctant] "Stian, come on now. If you don't know, I really don't know if I do either. *pause, sigh* Look. You've always been the one with the insight, not me. I don't think I can do this without you."

[Facetious] "Well, hey. You did your best. That counts for something, no? I mean, it doesn't for me, but then again, when will anyone ever meet my expectations?"

[Reluctantly friendly] "He was a good man, Amitayus. One of the best in terms of morals and humility, a rarity in human kind. Try to accept his passing the way he did. If you can't meet him again, perhaps that's just how it's meant to be."

Events and History

History and background details

Bradley Beauchemin was the founder and director of the think tank that focused on a particular aspiration of his that he envisioned for as long as he could remember; The Improbability Drive. Raised in a broken home and yearning to sprout out of the asphalt, Bradley sought after the pursuit of knowledge in a highly advanced yet limited society for the sake of survival. Once he made it through lower education and passed with flying colors, his wild imagination and professional development merged into something that seemed too good to ignore, which was to change the world for the better with competence, intelligence, and creative initiative.

Starting as a pastime to keep his mind occupied between his further education, faint ideas turned into a pursuit of understanding how to bring his ideas about this new technology to life. He'd research  all sorts of fields online on his own, including but not limited to dimensions, spirituality, quantum physics, ancient societies, philosophy, psychology, engineering, and all things space related during his adolescent years. With this, during his years in a vocational technical high school, he attained a basic understanding of the machine trade, which helped establish a sense of hands-on learning and creation of finished projects from blueprints he would learn to make on his own. From there, he would dedicate his life to one full of learning and gaining competence in all these fields that interested him, and eventually wound up becoming quite the intellectual and innovator.

Decades of running side businesses, pursuing further education, and collecting grants and scholarships put him in a position to eventually run his own think tank, which focused primarily on the research and development of the ID. Along the way, he made some new friends and colleagues, Amitayus and Stian, who would help bring his imagination to life. The trio would dedicate their lives to this field of research, until they finally created three different variants for them to research individually.

Mr. B made himself a bionic vessel made from a unique metallic element that required him to transfer his lifeblood (soul, spirit, consciousness) into it in order for it to function properly. After undergoing transmigration, he woke up in his new body, which had a new equilibrium to maintain and break into. Thus, after getting used to the new possibilities, he immediately began working at full throttle to see just what he was capable of doing.

It came to the point, however, where Mr. B was beginning to notice some issues within the think tank. Amitayus was acting far more obsessed with finding his deceased father than before, Stian was rotting away in isolated meditation, and while lost in his body, Mr. B was catching glimpses of his sanity slipping away. It seemed that making IDs that were focused on transforming the mind and body, the spirit in turn was being manipulated in a dangerously self destructive manner. It wasn't until the seemingly lucid and maddening thoughts he had were being written down by Stian, among other things, that Mr. B realized there was a serious problem going on.

When the group of Chompas arrived and confronted the trio, Mr. B began feeling immense sensations of Deja vu, to the point where he could almost think he was developing memories of a completely different person, since he knew for a fact that he had never met any of them before.

The confrontation turned into a means to regain stability, so when the trio was taken outside of their home universe, never to return, their minds began returning to a normal sense of equilibrium. Amitayus was less emotionally flustered, Stian, while still lucid, was showing signs of improvement, and Mr. B regained his sense of self and was cured of his madness.

With a new sense of purpose, and a need to remain in control within reason, Mr. B helped establish a means to create a new universe for them to call home, where they could learn, grow, and evolve as a collective. He would maintain his roles as the head scientist, doctor, inventor, businessman, and brains who worked behind the scenes, only revealing himself when absolutely necessary to the public eye. Begrudgingly, he would open the doors of his lab to outsiders who wanted to do business, such as creating new technology, negotiating custom orders, or trading information worth his time. In general, he appreciates his old and new colleagues, but still has a long way to go before he truly knows the significance of who he is and why it matters to everyone.
