About "A Twin Tale"
A "Twin Tale" is a short film with a major plot twist about a girl named Diana. When Diana was 5, she persuaded her sister, Siren to play with her on a balcony only for Siren to slip off the edge and fall to her death. Diana, flooded with guilt and sadness later goes on to becoming a detective, Siren's dream job. She is very clever but she is a dirty cop as she helps supplies dealers with drugs in return for cash. Later on in the story, Diana and her new partner, Skye have been assigned a murder case. They must find out who killed a 15 year old girl. Diana however, soon finds out that the victim had a twin which floods her with memories of her past. She is determined to solve this case however she soon finds that her new partner is getting very suspicious of her and she has to try and find a way of keeping her secrets, all of her secrets.
Rules:
1) All Roles are in English language.
2) You must be 12-16 to audition unless you are playing a child's role. If you are, you must be 10-14.
3) Please do not audition if you are 18+. This is just supposed to be for fun and I don't feel comfortable working with people outside my age group.
4) Try not to edit your voice to much unless you are getting rid of background noises.
5) I understand many people do not have head mics, I am fine with people using phones to record their voices but please try to sound as clear as possible.
6) This is my first voice-acted GLMM. I am trying my best to make this as professional as possible, but I hope you will all still audition despite my lack of experience. I have however, been planning this for quite a few months now and I promise the story will have an interesting plot and like I said before, there is a major plot twist.
7) If you are chosen for a role, you must have discord because I will be sending you the script there.
Deadline
At the moment, you until 10th of Feb to submit your audition but I might extend it in the future. I will tell you if you have been given the role 1-5 days after the deadline is finished.

Diana is a tough, private person.
She speaks in a calm, expressionless voice.
She rarely cries, laughs or gets happy.
She has never experienced love after Siren's death and her only fears are her nightmares.
Try to sound mature and show little emotion (unless she is angry or scared).
(begins calm but starts to get angry very quickly) Stop looking through my stuff Skye, and never lie to me again or I swear YOU WILL REGRET IT!
(Annoyed) but sir! i don't need another partner I work fine in my own!
(scared) How is this possible! Y-Your dead!!
Sky Parker is a smart detective and Diana's newest partner.
She often sounds confused as there are a lot of secrets about her partner she is trying to find out
She is good at her job but she is always very curious and sometimes her curiosity gets the better of her.
(happy, normal) Hi! My names Skye Parker, I'm excited to work with you.
(confused) huh? What's this (pause) Hold on, where did Diana get all this money from? What is she hiding?
(Loud, angry) Drop your weapon! Drop it! Don't make me ask again!!
Siren Rivers is Diana's twin sister.
She will appear at the beginning and during flashbacks/dreams.
Her voice is sweet and innocent. She is a cute lovable person.
But during flashbacks and dreams, her voice can also be sinister and creepy.
(Young, sweet but also creepy) Diana...Diana you killed me. Don't pretend you don't know the truth, you killed all of us.
(scared, shy, innocent) But sissy, I don't wanna play outside, its cold and dark.
Captain Lute has been in charge of his detectives for quite a while.
His voice is commanding and controlling.
Note: He does sound a lot older than most roles.
(strict and commanding) Diana this is your new partner, Sky Parker, maybe try to not loose this one.
(strict and commanding Detectives, this is your new case, you will be investigating the murder of 15 year old Madeline Ross.
Roy Black is one of the men Diana is helping supply.
He is a dealer, murderer and thief.
His voice is deep, and frightening. No one dares to disobey him.
(deep voice, calm) Diana, have you got it. Good lets meet at 10 tonight... Pleasure doing business with you.
(scoffing, amused) Oh please, your not going to shoot me now be a good girl and kill your little partner.
Marie Ross is the victims Twin sister.
Her voice is sad and she often cries because of her loss
(scared, stammering) W-well I was t-trying to g-get in touch with my s-sister, b-but she never picked up the p-phone. I c-can't belive s-she's d-d-dead.
Carl Rogers is a detective.
He has a friendly attitude and a nice voice.
It will be possible for a girl to play him.
Hey Diana! I got you the files you wanted, uh its good seeing you...
(quiet, as if you don't want to be heard)You see... Diana has a reputation for never being able to keep a partner for even a month, no one knows why.
Young Diana will be featured in tbe beginning of the mini movie during Siren’s death.
She has to sound horrified when Siren dies
She is young so make sure to do a childs voice
(Sound persuasive and annoyed) come on siren stop being such a baby! Its not that dark!
(Horrified, scared) WAIT SIREN WATCH OUT!!
Emma was Diana’s previous partner
She will appear in flashbacks
(Angry, annoyed) Diana what secrets are you keeping from me!! Why are you lying?!
