The galactic year is 5028. Gods wage war over the fate of the Milky Way, as its inhabitants fight for their right to live. The Soulless, thrall of the god, Hilos, threaten to wipe out all sentient life, while the Celestials, chosen of the gods Cleva and Solvemos, take the front lines to stop them.
William Ortell, a young man from Furelle is chosen as a successor to Vale, a powerful Celestial of years past whose magic was unparalleled. Together with his friends and the crew of the Blue Sparrow, he must fight against the clock to find a way to put a stop to this war once and for all, while also dodging the Soulless wishing to put a stop to him.
All the while, he struggles to learn his place in this vast galaxy as he untangles the skills of his predecessor, learning to be more than he was, and learning what it truly means to be a Celestial.
This phase of production focuses primarily on the second half of the book. Lux and Rex's lines need to be recorded for both the first and second half, however, due to recasting choices.
Pay for this will be $20 an hour for all actors. Extras will receive at minimum one hours worth of pay.
Been a while but posting here to say that we're a bit over halfway there!
Laying out lines has been finished, and we're moving on to sound design! I foresee this taking far less time (as I really enjoy this part and will hopefully be more proactive lol.) Then onto music.
Music I'm concerned for, as I know it can take a while to write. I'll be continuing to update as I work and see how things progress.
As we get more lines completed and begin preparations on laying out dialogue, I have decided to extend the current audition period to Friday, the 21st to give everyone more time to get their auditions in.
Meanwhile, a new cover is in the works for both the book and audiobook. Hopefully within the next few weeks we'll have some more awesome stuff to show!

Due to an actor going MIA a few more roles are being reopened and recast. Particularly, Cleva and Natasha. These are both more major roles that have lines in both part one and part two of this audiobook. I'm gonna keep these open for just a week to start, but might open it for longer if I don't hear what I'm looking for.

One of the three Gods, Cleva rules over the realm of Magic and (unspoken) Interpersonal Relationships. Her voice is smooth and calming, yet commanding in a sense. She start as a roadblock for the crew, but ends up assisting in teaching William magic,

You remind me much of the prior owner of that sword. Headstrong, disobedient, stubborn... In your case, those may be the best qualities you could have. d.
Luccia (Loo-syah) will be your training partner, and this; will be our training ground. The sanctum of the Tower of Souls.
A Furin woman who suffered greatly in the early times of the war. She's very critical of William at first, before eventually opening up more. Her voice is quiet and described to sound sandpapery, and she doesn't speak much.
Ma’am, we are flying after a Commander, and into an active war zone. (Pointed) Are you sure this is safe for everyone present?
(Angry) A new watch list was put up, and one guess who wasn’t on it, again. I’m getting sick of our illustrious captain cutting herself out of any work on this ship.
Navigation is online, comms relays active. Ship wide systems are nominal... She's all ready.
Rex is the ship medical officer. He speaks overly formally, and with a deep gruff voice. He is very serious about keeping the crew safe and healthy, but also knows when to let loose and let them have their fun. Overall his voice is very deep and sounds as if he is keeping a stiff lower jaw. Heavy gravelly sound to his voice.
Think Mithrax from Destiny 2 as a reference.

A young pilot who traveled with Jewls for some time. He's somewhat shy and soft spoken, but easily excitable. Around the crew he's quick to open up, quickly becoming like family to them. While he is considered an incredible pilot he has a lot to learn. He is described as having an Irish accent. Specifically Dublin Irish.
I didn’t mean to impose. I was just admiring your ship, was all. Oh, I’m Lux by the way!
Oh, well, I wouldn’t want to brag, buuut, (pausing for effect) I am one of the best pilots in the fleet.
(Yelling over explosions. Stressed) I’m doing the best I can! Don’t know if you noticed the entire fleet in front of us!
Iravek is a middle aged Ikui, a race of buglike people. His voice is deep and smooth under normal conditions, but when he attempts to speak without his translator, he struggles to make the proper sounds (given the bug appendages).
(strained) “Soulless" your name for them. "Hollows" our name... give time... translator need.
It is our way of life. Our world is harsh and deadly. People die. We mourn, but we move on. Such is our lives. Is this not true in your war as well?
(Firm) I do not wish for anyone speaking on my people’s behalf.
The elder chief of Rishik village. She has a distaste for William's presence, but also sees his potential to grow. She is one to give her insight where she thinks it needed.
They’re the only ones with power like that. Unnatural it is. They don’t know how to control it, burn themselves through.
We’ve had Soulless patrol these areas before. It’s near enough to their home that they’ve considered outposts. You can forgive me for being weary of your presence.
I can see in you someone with the potential to burn bright as the cosmos itself, or someone destined to fizzle out into a ball of embers. Make your choice, Celestial, or the world will make it for you, and the world is not kind.
The captain of the Darkstar crew and an impressive fighter. She's a middle aged Thai woman who appears briefly to talk to William and give him some advice. Accent is a mix between a Thai and an American West Coast accent.

A staunch military captain. She is described as massive and intimidating. A deeper voice would suit her. She is very stiff with her delivery.
I will warn you, while I am in favor of this directive, I can not be so certain the rest of the Summit will be.

(Girl 1) It’s been almost a week! A few of the others found you in the mud and brought you to us for healing.
