About gilmorevoice

Hey! I'm Laurentz; I'm 23, with a medium range voice. I am a professional video editor  working at a local TV station, who wants to try voice acting as something new! I have some experience as talent on camera through acting roles in short films and have done voice overs on various projects through my job. I am fluent in Spanish and I used to do a lot of singing  when I was younger so I am open to  implementing these characteristics if the role requires it.  Currently, I am using a Blue Snowball with a pop filter to record my audio.  




I have been writing fiction stories for personal leisure for over 10 years. I graduated with a minor in creative writing and therefore have experience in creative writing and screen writing courses. I have also been working in the video production industry as a video editor for over 6 years.  I edit using Final Cut X and After Effects.     I helped out in several film projects in gilmorevoice's original Digital Video Production class (2011-2013), and even then the quality of her work was incredible. She's great at camera work, acting, and especially editing. I'm blown away by how much talent she has in the field.
    I have also read and/or edited a good bit of her writing. She's got a great style, whether it be short stories, longer fictional pieces, or scriptwriting.
    As far as VA goes, she's great at changing the intonation of lines if a take wasn't exactly how the director/writer intended. She has a good understanding of how emotions are portrayed verbally, and that definitely reflects in her voice work.
