Hi there!My name is B.J. van Slooten (aka Benji) and I've always found VA'ing fascinating, but I never really got to recording. Until a while back, when I decided to buy the equipment I needed and get going. I really look forward to lending my voice acting (and talent, if you will) to projects. Why? I started out shooting church videos, then found I can do more.  Tried one semester of the Art institute to find out that shooting video wasn't what I was after, but editing video was more enjoyable.  What was great practice was creating stories and animating through machinima, but I wanted to do much better than machinima so I began animating using Daz3d, Carrara 8 and now iClone 6 & 7 for 3d.  I also have CrazyTalk Animator 3 on hand but haven't begun to use it yet, but will someday soon.  I find practicing with these tools will hone my skills and make storytelling more enjoyable and entertaining for all to see.  I work closely with others whose voices breathe life into my characters and keeps it interesting.

I've always had a penchant for "doing voices". Recently I started a gaming YouTube channel where I play as a happy-go-lucky character named Jakko Narr.
