About Windelower
Hi,
Nice to have you here.
It's interesting how things just seem to converge sometimes. For me it all started with tabletop roleplaying. Primarily D&D 5th edition. A bunch of friends spending a night a week rolling some dice and having adventures. I noticed immediately that I really loved the acting and doing the voices for my characters, and really going the extra mile to find good voices and personalities for them. I learnt that I really like the drama and the theatrical side of it. So came the pandemic and we were forced to play over voice chat instead of in person. This actually made things even more enjoyable. I now felt like I was performing on some kind of live radio theatre, and I could now play with pitch to find even more voices. I realised that I really like voice acting, and I dared to dream that maybe.. just maybe I could someday hear one of my voices in a professional production of some sort.
I've recently upgraded my microphone and I'm currently working on getting the feel of it, and I'm exploring the vast space of possible voices, trying to refine my craft. It's going to be quite a journey, I'm sure.
