Avery

Hi there! My name is Avery, and I’m an artist originating from Gloucestershire UK. Art, especially character design, has been my passion for as long as I can remember, and as such I have made it my mission to find work in the creative industry.

My qualifications include BTECs in Games Design and Illustration, and a BA(Hons) in Animation, specialising in character animation. I am proficient in programs like the Adobe Suite, TVPaint, and Procreate, and have experience working both independantly self-employed, and in a team/small studio.

While working in the creative industry directly, I am also volunteering as part of the management team for Sheezy.Art, a new art social media aiming to provide a safe haven for creatives away from the unregulated AI and corporate exploitation of mainstream social media.

I am currently taking free courses with The Open University on a range of topics, including understanding the pros and cons of AI, and managing virtual projects, in order to boost my relevant knowledge of the industry I’m entering.
