Hello, welcome to my profile!
Here are just a few things you should know about me:
- I'm rather new to voice acting. I've always shown interest in the skill but never knew how to get into it until I found this site. Despite being new, I would like to take this seriously. It may never become my career and might only be a hobby, but I plan on treating every role I might obtain with respect. Having fun is a portion of this. I want to be authentic and transparent with the people I meet and work with, and hope to receive the same!
- I have a history in theater, and it's a great passion of mine. I've always been the theatrical, dramatic kid in my family and I'm constantly playing with my voice. All of our animals have their own unique voice I've given them! They're all very goofy, of course, but I enjoy creating more serious tones that can only be brought to life through voice acting for characters - hence why I'm trying my luck around here!
- I'm very much a daydreamer and love to write my ideas down. I wrote a book while I was in high school, but haven't been able to get through the editing process. My love for writing has some deep roots, as it stems from my childhood love of the WARRIORS series by Erin Hunter. Even now in my post-high-school years, I adore those books and am still reading the new releases as many other WC fans are! They are by far my favorite series.
Fun Facts!
- I'm a big animal lover, I've lived my entire life with them.
- Some of my favorite hobbies are horseback riding, reading and writing, drawing, and acting!
- I love to learn new things. I know I don't know everything and that I never will, but I am determined to learn as much as I can while I'm here.
Skills:
- I've been on multiple different teams throughout my time in school and work. I'm a good team player and adapt well to differing personalities.
- While I enjoy humor and making any task fun, I know when it's time to be serious and am able to be professional whenever the need arises. This skill goes well with the first listing. On the teams I've been a part of, professionalism was expected and demanded. However, it was very important for us to respect and enjoy one another's company as people. That meant making jokes and telling stories behind the scenes! Professionalism is much more attainable within a group when there are connections to lean on.
- I'm a quick learner and am always up for a challenge. I'm not afraid to ask for help, especially when I know it'll make me better as a person or at a specific skill. So bring it on!
Current project interests/goals:
WCAnimated "Into the Wild - Part 2" (and all future parts!) - multiple character interests, though my dream would be to play Hollyleaf or Ivypool (funds and time be willing). Currently I am very interested in the role of Sandpaw/storm!
"Pocahontas Full Fan-Dub" by Disney full fandubs - Nakoma
"Lynxlights Choice" by Lynxlighti - multiple character interests
If we work together, here are some things to expect:
- Honesty and Authenticity: Without much experience in this art, I have a lot of learning to do. I will not miss set deadlines as I work best when I have a time frame to think about, but I may take more time on lines than more experienced actors simply because I have more to figure out. I won't lie about my progress and will be sure to communicate about where I'm at and whether or not I need help or more direction on something. I would much rather admit to not knowing something rather than turn in work I am unsure of and possibly delaying things! Ultimately, my goal will always be to get my work in early so if another take is requested I can still get it done before the deadline hits.
- Understanding and Support: This is a competitive world with a ton of talent. While I hope to become great at this, I know there will always be a bigger fish. Basically, I understand the world does not revolve around me! And I'm okay with that. The best ways to become good at something is to try and fail and try again, AND watch/listen to people that are better than you. I'm never going to be bitter about not getting a role. Instead, you can bet I'll be listening to whoever takes that role very closely to find out how I can improve and learn from them while supporting them and cheering them on!
- Ambition and Drive: As stated previously, I want to be good at this. I will put 110% into perfecting a voice to offer the best work I can. I currently watch videos, ask questions, practice, experiment with material, anything I can to get better. I do not claim to be a natural born talent, I don't claim to be a showstopper, but I strive to become an all-round good actress. I am not afraid to start and the bottom and work my way up because I know that is the best way to do everything.
Thanks for stopping by! Please let me know if you have any tips on how to navigate the site, voice acting, any of my auditions, or projects in general! Hope to work with you someday!
